Valley Master Jade Aurora’s heart trembled as she couldn’t believe that she had forgotten herself and said that in a trance, unable to take her eyes off of him. She was completely mesmerized for a few seconds right there, her heart beating in expectation before she was interrupted by a cold voice, causing her to turn around in a panic only to see that it was Fairy Myria.
Fairy Myria was also a person that she was indebted to as she seemed to have accompanied Davis in rescuing them, causing her to want to thank her formally, but the words they exchanged left her dumbfounded.
What massive formation? What anomalies?
“What did you find?”
Davis asked, his brows squinting to display his solemness.
Myria glanced at Valley Master Jade Aurora before she shook her head at Davis, “I don’t need you to accompany me.”
ᴘ ᴀɴᴅ ᴀ ɴ ᴏᴠᴇʟ With those words, she took a step forward and rushed past them, heading into the Alternating Time Flow Valley.
“What the… wait…!”
Davis didn’t want to let go of this opportunity to protect his people in a safe place.
“See you later, Valley Master.”
He hurriedly bid farewell and flew back into the Alternating Time Flow Valley, following Myria.
Valley Master Jade Aurora watched him leave, her eyes blinking before she couldn’t help but smilingly shake her head.
‘As I thought… only a supreme genius like her or Ivy deserves to be with him… Someone like me probably doesn’t even enter his eyes, although he said something like that I’m worthy… He’s a good person, alright.’
With a dejected smile behind her veil, she flew away to find the disciple waiting for her in the distance. However, she didn’t know why it hurt so badly in her heart, making a sharp turn as she flew into the distance, disappearing into the horizon amidst the disciple’s dumbfounded gaze, but the disciple decided to wait as that was her job.
In the Alternating Time Flow Valley, Davis quickly appeared beside Myria, who flew in a mysterious way. He let Evelynn know that he got out but re-entered the Alternating Time Flow Valley, causing her to burst into laughter.
“You went in with one woman and now going in with another? Is that the valley of passion?” Is what she said, making him unable to respond.
Nonetheless, she giggled that she was just kidding and told him to take care of himself and not to lose more of his lifespan. Davis assured her that he wouldn’t die or become an old man, causing Evelynn to hum in agreement.
As for Myria, she was sometimes going straight, then left before she even backtracked.
Davis disconnected with Evelynn and wondered what Myria was doing and did similar things to the point where he moved like her, only to find out that he was not losing time when comparing time with his avatar. He was shocked yet, at the same time, knew that it was because Myria was exceptional in Time Laws, like most Laws she had displayed in the competition.
Moreover, each step she took brought her deeper into the valley, although it seemed like she was just dancing around.
‘It’s like she’s moving in a preordained path…’
Her movements were not only alluring to watch but also seemingly contained the essence of time. Just watching it made him feel like he was glancing at an inscription of time, only it was moving in real-time. He naturally took this chance to stare at her with wide eyes, giving Myria goosebumps.
However, she didn’t say anything and flew deeper, finally arriving at an empty location where she raised her hand and placed a finger on a spot, causing a spatial vortex to appear as it pulled her in.
Davis didn’t instantly go join her. While having his eyes on the covert spatial node, he used his soul sense to outline the dark landscape and saw that there was an eerie feel to the air as though if he moved, he could find himself dead. At least, that was what his instincts told him to his dread, causing him to smile blandly.
‘Where have I found myself?’
Although nothing was blocking him, Davis felt like he was stuck in a rock and hard place.
Just as he hardened his heart to traverse the short distance to the hidden spatial node, the spatial vortex appeared, and Myria appeared again, seemingly raising her brows as a mocking gaze appeared in her eyes.
“You want to die?”
“Certainly not, Fairy Myria.” Davis forced a smile, “On account of our old debtship, can you take me out of here?”
“I told you I don’t need you here.”
Myria lightly shook her head, her voice sounding exasperated. However, her expression seemingly changed before she appeared before him, grasping his hand as she rose above.
Davis blinked before he smiled, “Thank you, Ellia.”
“Hehe~ Don’t mention it. Just don’t carelessly follow Myria around, or you’ll die in some terrifying secret region as you don’t have the required knowledge to traverse these regions.”

To Ellia’s cheerful voice that seemed to be overjoyed to help him despite what she said, Davis’s smile turned awkward.<del>panda novel</del>
“Was that a killing formation situated around that hidden spatial node?”
“No, inside that hidden spatial node is the core of the temporal movement inside the Fifty-Two Territories, and the Alternating Time Flow Valley is the mass of exhaust, in other words, unrefined energy released by it, causing temporal instability all over this place.”
“If you get caught in one of those unstable locations, you’ll wither into nothing in no time as thousands of years would’ve passed for you. After all, the closer you are to the core, the more dangerous it gets.”
Davis pursed his lips. He had followed Myria in a trance of learning movements that contained the essence of time, audaciously thinking that he could develop it into a movement technique. However, he almost ended up courting death because of it that he didn’t know what to say.
However, his expression abruptly changed, “Does this mean that this region is unstable and could spread outside?”
If this temporal instability expanded outside, then not only his but many people would undoubtedly wither away like they never existed.
“Of course not.” Ellia giggled, seamlessly taking him away from the core region, “There needs to be a balance for time to flow properly, and the creator of this formation ingeniously devised a way to speed up time without having to use their own energy. I can only say that the creator of this massive formation has transcended Myria’s own understanding about Space Laws and Time Laws, although there are many of such individuals in the immortal world.”
Davis gawked.
Why is it that it was that world master again? Wasn’t there anyone else? Although he didn’t wish for another monster like that world master to exist, he couldn’t scheme his way out with Fallen Heaven if only one of them existed. He would be cruelly suppressed instead.
He almost rolled his eyes in exasperation at his life that is supposedly hanging on the edge from the moment he obtained Fallen Heaven but endured it and asked.
“Why is there a need for increased temporal movement in this barren Fifty-Two Territories?”
“Isn’t that obvious?” Ellia grinned like an amused teacher, “From what Myria can sense in the temporal core, the rate at which time is moving in the Fifty-Two Territories is many times higher, at the very least, nine times. Why do you think that’s the case?”
“…” Davis blinked twice before his eyes widened, “To bring out Candidates faster.”
“That’s right.” Ellia nodded with a deep smile, “There could also be other reasons. However, if ninety million years passed here, only nine million years would have passed outside, which also means it shouldn’t have been long since Myria died…”
Her tone became solemn at the end.
“Excuse me, a hundred years is still a lot for me, but we’re talking about millions of years here. How it is not ‘long’?”
To the grinning Davis, Ellia clicked her tongue with disdain.
“Tsk, tsk. I meant comparatively. However, you’re already about to become immortal, so you better change your perception. Besides, weren’t you just hitting on Valley Master Jade Aurora, who’s a thousand years old?”
“I’m not!”
Davis clenched his teeth, “I was engaged in a training session with her.”
However, his cheeks couldn’t help but burn, thinking how they were both naked together a few meters apart for a week, no, an awful lot of years, although their perceptions didn’t register it!
“Mhmmm?” Ellia closely examined his expression before looking away, “Even if you’re not, it’s obvious that she is smitten with you. Hmph~”
Davis blinked in surprise.
Did she also feel like Valley Master Jade Aurora had the hots for him? However, he couldn’t be sure and asked.
“Are you jealous?”
“I’m totally not jealous, being beside you but not able to touch you as your women can. However, you’re a bad tease, Prince Davis. I’m going to throw you from here and make you ten thousand years older for this slight.”
Ellia’s hand shook, causing him to wobble in the air as his scalp turned numb.
“Oye, don’t even joke about it…!”
“Hahahaha!~”
Ellia threw her head and laughed wickedly at Davis’s heartfelt cry that she felt extremely amused and fulfilled.
The prince and the maid had exchanged positions, with the maid bullying the prince. Such a scenario caused her smile to bloom with richness.
“Pfft, Ahahaha!”
Davis found himself at a loss as he looked at the laughing Ellia before he too laughed uproariously without reserve, completely feeling nostalgic to be laughing along with Ellia again.
