Sarah and Sia sighed as they walked with Varian down a broad street.
Sarah wore a light pink dress. With her beautiful blond hair, sky blue eyes, and stunning face, she looked like a princess missing a tiara.
"…Are you sure you don't want a tiara?" Varian asked with a hopeful expression.
"I'm not cosplaying." Sarah rolled her eyes at him.
"Tsk. Truly a waste." Varian clicked his tongue and then turned to Sia.
"Don't say anything!" Sia held up her hand and stopped him.
With a black top, white skirt, and high socks, she looked gorgeous.
"…" Seeing that she rejected his suggestion, Varian turned around with a dejected expression.
Since it'd appear weird if Sia maintained an unnatural distance from him, Varian walked on the left, Sarah was in the middle and Sia was at the right.
Like that, the trio strolled the streets under the lead of an overly enthusiastic Varian.
They were in the wealthiest commercial district, the crowd wasn't small. They were hundreds of people on the street at any given time. It wasn't crowded by any stretch, but it wasn't free either.
However, to the utter surprise of Varian and Sia, no one approached them.
Plenty of them tried after seeing the two beauties, but the moment they reached a certain distance, a terrible chill was released from Sarah's body and scared away the people.
It happened too naturally. Sarah didn't even notice that she was doing it.
Varian understood that even though she looked relatively fine with both of them, Sarah was undoubtedly affected by what happened.
Without bringing up the topic, Varian took them to aimless shopping.
Accessories. Clothes. Footwear. Books.
Initially, none of them bought anything. He had to drag them from shop to shop.
Then, he casually said. "I heard girls can shop well. If you two can't even shop, then I should look for othe—"
Sarah glared at him and walked into a clothes shop. Five minutes later, she cleared the shop!
She smirked at Varian with a smug expression.
Varian smirked back and slapped his comm at the counter. He looked like the textbook definition of 'Too much money'.
Then, it was Sia's turn. She…She went to a supermarket and bought everything.
"…are you trying to open a business or what?"
Afterward, the two girls toned down their spending.
Though…they ended up spending far more in a single day than Varian spent in his entire life.
Soon, the legend of a 'Young Master overflowing with money' spread in the district.
After an hour of random window shopping, and frolicking, they reached a beautiful large building.
"This restaurant is the best here!" Varian started praising the food there as they entered the building.
His words drew the attention of the customers eating on the ground floor. They looked up from their tables with a judging look.
Getting a reservation here was tough even for the rich, who the fuck was this brat spouting things here?
But since they didn't know, they didn't speak out. No one was stupid enough to provoke someone they didn't know.
After all, Eos received a lot of tourists every year. Every now and then, there were children of influential figures among those tourists.
One time, the son of a level 9 general was humiliated and thrown out of a hotel.
The very next day, the hotel's owner sold off the building and left for the boonies.
"Ah! You're Mr. Var, right?" A beautiful waitress approached him with a bright smile on her face.
"…Isn't that Rina?"
"Damn!"
"She doesn't even welcome the platinum guests!"
Discussions broke out as the crowd recognized the waitress who was known to be aloof. They had never seen her smile warmly at anyone.
But now, her smile was so bright that they wondered if she had something wrong with her head.
"Yeah." Varian nodded lightly. His facial features were different but with the mask, he was wearing now, he appeared with his original face to the people he desired. It was the same with Sarah and Sia.
They could see each other's original faces. Though, their disguises were also aesthetically pleasing.
"Ah~Wonderful!" The waitress bent forward and gave him a bow while giving him a view of her ample cleavage.
Varian's lips twitched as he felt two glares behind his back.
"Really the best restaurant in the town, yeah," Sarah said with a bright smile.
"…" Varian shrugged and lifted the waitress up, stopping her seduction.
"Mr. Var?" Waitress Rina blinked with a confused expression.
But on the inside, her heart was burning with desire. 'He booked the whole top floor! The legendary young master with too much money! This guy is the real deal. I must catch him!'
So, her eyes turned wet as she said. "Is my service not up to the mark?" She was about to bend down again.
A sudden chill emerged from behind Varian and was about to lash out at her. Varian immediately grabbed Sarah's hand glowing blue and smiled at the waitress.
"If you do it again, I won't stop her, got it?"
"R-Right!" Rina nodded in a shivering voice. Even though Varian stopped Sarah, she still felt a deep cold hitting her body.
'W-Who the hell is that girl?! I'm a level 4 for fuck's sake and she made me shiver without even attacking?'
Her head was in a mess, but the waitress no longer played any tricks.
She guided them to the top floor and made sure not to appear seductive even in the slightest.
Since Mr. Var booked the whole floor, it was empty except for them.
After she took their orders, Rina ran off.
Varian waited for her to leave a certain distance before laughing. "Sarah, she was peeking at you with scared eyes all the way!"
"I…I don't know why I did." Sarah drank some water and rubbed her forehead. "I was pissed off, sure, but I wouldn't have attacked her like this."
Varian's eyes shone lightly at her words.
Sarah…
The incident was affecting her for certain.
The way the crowd avoided her in the streets. The way she almost killed the waitress.
With him, she didn't show much difference from earlier…except she was closer and a bit more attached.
But with other people, she was growing distant.
Varian sipped some fruit juice as he wondered what to do when Sia looked at Sarah with a serious face.
"Sarah, killing like that in front of everyone is a bad thing, you know? Varian will then have to take care to cover up everything. It'll mess up our time here."
"T-That's…" Sarah's expression was conflicted and she finally lowered her head. "You're right."
Varian's smile brightened as she looked at Sia with pride. 'That's right! Tell her the common sen—'
"How about we kill her tonight? We can hide the evidence." Sia smiled like a devil.
"Pf—Cough Cough." Varian almost choked on the juice.
"Are you alright?" The girls turned to him in surprise.
"Yes, but no!" Varian wiped his mouth with a tissue and put his hands flat on the table.
"She thought I was a rich dude and wanted to hook up. If I spend money, there will always be women like her. Will you kill them all?" Varian asked as he rolled his eyes.
Sarah rubbed her chin while Sia fell into deep contemplation.
"You two…" Varian opened his mouth, dumbfounded.
Wasn't the obvious answer no? What the heck were their responses?
He always thought they were normal girls. Was he perhaps mistaken?
With a bell sound, the bots served them a sumptuous meal that was pricey enough to buy a house on earth.
"Eat."
Varian said and started digging in.
He came to Eos to really enjoy. So, he decided to do just that.
The food was delicious and Varian felt like his tastebuds were exploding in ecstasy. After filling his stomach, he was about to get up when he suddenly froze.
Sia was looking at Sarah with an intense expression.
Sarah was nodding occasionally while she shook her head at the other times. She even made some weird gestures like slashing a neck, stabbing a heart, and others.
They didn't even start eating.
They were discussing something, no, they were definitely discussing the murder thing via telepathy.
Veins popped up on Varian's forehead and he slammed the table.
The two girls suddenly jolted out of their 'planning mode'.
"You two!"
Twenty plates floated to them carrying all sorts of delicacies.
Varian crossed his arms and said with a serious expression.
