Chapter 177: Chapter 131 – Byakugan?

"Yo! Boruto! Tento!"

"Uwa! Where did you come from!" Tento fell backward on his butt, nearly dropping the Shuriken he held on his face. He looked up in anger to see who it was that startled him and nearly caused him to kill himself, only to become dazed.

A young girl was standing on the nearest tree branch, amongst the many others surrounding them. She wore a maroon shirt top a black, mid-thigh level skort (Short + Skirt). She wore stockings and glassy heels to complete the look. It was topped by the gorgeous pink hair and mesmerizing golden eyes, making his heart escape his chest. But before he looked any longer, Boruto slapped his head, snapping him out of the daze, "Guren is a boy."

"Huh...Guren, who?"

Boruto pointed at Guren, who was standing on the tree branch, "He is a boy."

"No," Tento shook his head as if trying to clear Boruto's misunderstanding, "She is clearly a girl!"

"No, no, he is a boy," Boruto rolled his eyes, "Always has been. He just likes messing with people's heads, and that's why he wears clothes like that."

"That's so rude," Guren shot a look Boruto, "Can't I just wear these clothes because I want to look beautiful?"

Boruto scoffed, "Others? Maybe. You just like messing with people's heads."

"So perceptive," Guren appeared in front of them, causing a stunned Tento to take a step back.

"No! You are a girl!" He cried out, tears brimming in his eyes over his first heartbreak.

Guren shrugged, "Sorry, kid. A guy here....all guy."

"No!!!!" Tento fell down on his knees, slamming his hands on the floor, crying out. He wept enough to make Guren pity him and crouch down.

Guren held his chin, raising it to bring Tento's eyes to the same level, a smile resting on the corner of his lips, "But there is nothing wrong with two boys falling in love."

"Huh," Tento's eyes widened, watching Guren in shock. Boruto held him, pulling him tens of meters away, throwing him on the floor.

"What was that for!" Tento cried out over such rough treatment, only for Boruto to watch him closely, "I am a boy too... do you want to fall in love?"

Tento blinked, his face screwed up, "No!"

"Good, because you can't think about this question when you look at him. That, all of it, is deception."

Guren laughed, "Hahaha! So true. Boruto is coming from a place of experience."

"I am not!" Boruto raised his voice, denying that accusation vehemently, sighing, "Why are you even here. Weren't you kept imprisoned in the hospital?"

"Uncle Shikamaru helped me with that, but now I have been assigned to this mission," Guren looked toward the target hanging on the tree, "You two playing Ninja."

Tento hid behind Boruto, raising the Shuriken, "Boruto is teaching me how to throw Shuriken! And I am going to learn it by my own hard work rather than the blank card my father gave me!"

"Mm," Guren blinked, seeing him hide behind Boruto in fear, and he moved. He reappeared in his place before any of the two noticed that he was gone and raised a black credit card, "You mean this card? Why would you do something so silly?"

"It's not silly," Boruto defended Tento.

"It is," Guren walked over, throwing the card at Tento, who fumbled while catching it, "He can ask for Ninja's even team 7 to learn anything he wants. He can buy friends, a girlfriend, even a father figure that he desires, and then use the money to keep them until the money runs out. And when it does, which it will...he'd be all alone, realizing that everything he ever did was fake, and he's still...empty...sad and pathetic. Who can't even talk to someone without all the money in his father's account."

Tento watched Guren, standing a foot away from his; he forgot to breathe because of the things Guren said. He vigorously shook his head, "Money won't run out!"

"So you do agree to the sad, pathetic, and empty part?" Guren grinned.

"I-I-I am not!" Tento ran away in tears, dearly holding the Shuriken for his life.

Boruto looked at Tento's back, "Did you have to be so cruel?"

"Say that when you are not enjoying bullying him," Guren rolled his eyes.

Boruto grinned, "Nah, it's good for him, but go easy. He's just a kid."

"I didn't go easy on you," Guren shrugged, chuckling, "Anyway, you continue your work. I'll be around, watching just in case."

"Fine," Boruto looked in the direction that Tento went, "I'll go talk to him."

"Mm," Guren nodded, waving, watching him leave. It wasn't until a few minutes later that Shikamaru appeared on the tree.

"Don't do things like those. You are going to make me regret it."

"Don't worry. At the end of this...Daimyo will owe the village a favor for sure."

Shikamaru nodded, "Thank you..."

"No need," Guren chuckled, appearing beside Shikamaru, "You are intelligent...but that same intelligence led to your downfall this time."

"My downfall?" Shikamaru blankly looked at him.

Guren didn't say anything but just smiled and disappeared, leaving a confused Shikamaru behind.

"Don't tell me," Shikamaru rubbed his chin, narrowing his eyes, "If so...I really messed up this time."

Guren appeared at the hotel's roof where Tento and Daimyo were staying. The hotel itself didn't have extra security since it was inside Konoha. Still, it did have the most state-of-the-art surveillance system. A transparent, seemingly 3D, but melded in his eyes. The building came apart in front of him, much like the effects of a Byakugan, seeing through it. Every person that was inside.

"Hmm, it won't do me much good at this rate," Guren nibbled his lip, thinking.

He blinked, turning his eyes towards the Hyuga mansion; a mischievous smile appeared on his pink lips, "Maybe I should go see her...? Right. I am sure that she can teach me the tips and tricks of Byakugan."
