Chapter 45: Vol 1 – Chapter 45 – The Last War of Ninja’s

Jay appeared in a broken space outside the Earth of Ninja Universe, seeing his body floating in front of him. He went inside his body, opening his eyes.

He felt something in his pocket, looking at a note left by Tsunade. It had been a few hours since his soul got sucked in the other universe, and Tsunade was back on the land, fighting in the war.

He looked down towards the Earth. His sight passed through numerous layers of clouds, land, falling on Jyuubi, fighting against Naruto, Hinata, Nagato, Kakashi, and Sasuke.

The other members of the New Akatsuki group were fighting and helping seal the other Edo Tensei. Well, it was numerous shadow clones of Naruto that seemed to be everywhere. At the same time, they kept the casualties to a minimum.

But most of his focus was on the Jyuubi and the two people standing on top of the Jyuubi. Madara Uchiha and Obito Uchiha.

Tsunade's summoning, Katsuyu, was everywhere. She had divided herself into countless parts, and Tsunade used her near-infinite chakra to heal as many. Because of Tsunade's near-infinite chakra, she could spread this network. As far as reaching all the Allied Shinobi Forces, "hmm."

Nagato stared at the ten tails, exchanging glances with Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata, "Naruto, Hinata, if you two can take care of those two above. Then Sasuke and I can use a combined, superpowered Chibaku Tensei to seal the Jyuubi for some time."

Hinata and Naruto exchanged a glance, nodding, "all right. We can take care of that."

Hinata looked towards Naruto, "let me handle Obito. I can breakthrough his ability."

Naruto nodded, "Then I'll take care of Madara."

Sasuke created a shadow clone, even though he didn't like doing that because it was Naruto's Jutsu, "I'll help him. He can't take Madara alone." Kakashi frowned, "let me take on Obito."

Hinata hesitated, "then I will stay here and protect Nagato-san and Sasuke-san."

Nagato nodded, watching Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi rush over as he started collecting all the chakra, getting ready for the largest Chibaku Tensei.

Madara watched Naruto and Sasuke, laughing, "it's you two. You think you can handle me?"

Naruto rushed in front of him, landing a punch on him, causing Madara's body to fly back roll on the body of Jyuubi as Naruto grinned, "No. We are going to destroy you!"

Obito frowned when looking towards Madara, who raised his body, with his cheek restoring, when he felt a thump on his chest, nearly sinking it. He stepped back, away from the distortion, looking at Kakashi, "Kakashi...it seems you are using the eye I gave you well."

With Sharingan in them, Kakashi opened his eyes, "No, these are my eyes now. That is why I will stop you, Obito."

On the middle of Jyuubi's body,

Madara stood up as his perfect Susanoo appeared around him, laughing, "are you ready to dance?"

Sasuke opened his Eternal Magekyo Sharingan, as his own Perfect Susanoo with wings appeared. While a translucent golden Kurama appeared beside him, making Sasuke curl his lips, "if you can keep up."

"Hahaha!! Perfect, and here I thought without Hashirama, there would be no challenge!!"

Jyuubi roared, throwing the three of them off, creating tailed beasts bombs. He shot them in all directions when Minato's shadow clones appeared, teleporting all of them away.

There were numerous blasts in the distance, shaking the continent's whole.

Hinata glanced back towards Minato, "Hokage-sama..."

"Go," Konan appeared in front of them, "I'll defend them."

Hinata nodded, "thank you." Her eyes changed, turning blue, with ever-going white lotuses at the center.

A cyan-colored chakra shroud with six magatama markings on her chest, dark markings over her eyebrows, and lower eyelids. And a single long horn extending from her forehead appeared.

Minato appeared beside her, "can you keep that thing in check? I'll make sure none of its bijuu bomb slip through."

"Yes, Hokage-sama," Hinata rose in the air when a tail of Jyuubi came towards her. She covered the truth-seeking balls in cyan chakra, using them to tie down the Jyuubi's tails.

She rushed up in the air. Her eyes became cold as she rushed down with two punches and a figure-eight formation, "Heaven Descending Formation!"

She landed on the back of the Jyuubi, causing the whole ground around them to sink, creating a massive crater.

She started sucking in the massive chakra inside Jyuubi, making it wait.

Near Kumogakure,

Allied Forces Headquarters,

"What the hell is going on?" There was panic as the Sensing Water Sphere kept dividing itself.

Shikaku narrowed his eyes, watching the Spheres, "we know this one belongs to Lady Tsunade. It keeps regenerating at the same rate that the chakra is being used. It's all the chakra that she saved over the past three decades. The next one is the Jyuubi, which is absurd and the largest. Now, this new one is growing and connected to the Jyuubi."

Inoichi spoke with an instrument with numerous wires at the back of the helmet, "I am getting the reports. Naruto and Sasuke are facing against Edo Tensei Madara. Kakashi is facing Obito, and Hinata is facing Jyuubi. She seems to be absorbing its chakra."

Shikaku raised his eyebrow, "Hinata? Hmm, then the reports were true."

Ao was walking over when he heard, "which report?"

"That Hinata has the purest bloodline of the Hyuuga family. And that she awakened a higher form of Byakugan Dojutsu," Shikaku said, curling his lips, "against something like this, we needed it."

Ao narrowed his own Byakugan, "hmm, higher form of Byakugan. I would want to see that."

Shikaku nodded, "Fourth Hokage is blocking the long-ranged Bijuu bombs so that that part won't be changing for some time. How is the sealing going?"

"It's going as smooth as a war can."

Somewhere else,

Hinata was heavily breathing when Kakashi's body shot backward. And the two of them looked towards Obito's body, getting taken over by the Black Zetsu, controlling his body, "Samsara of Heavenly Life!"

Madara had lost both his arms, and they weren't restored. But he was standing beside Obito, feeling his body revive, his hands restore, "Hahahaha!!! Wonderful!! I am living!!"

"Obito!!" Kakashi shouted, moving towards him at high speed. But faster than him, Black Zetsu took the Rinnegan, leaving his body. He appeared around Madara, giving him the Rinnegans he put in his eyes.

Kakashi held Obito, taking Katsuya, the slug from his clothes, putting it on Obito, "don't worry. It will be fine."

Obito held him back, shaking his head, "No...no...I lost...fair and square. Let me go...Kakashi...I want to be with Rin..."

He smiled, staring at the sky, "do you think...I can be with Rin...With my sins...I am going to hell for sure. But if possible...I wanted to be with her, one more time."

Kakashi held him when the Jyuubi beneath him started becoming smaller. He held Obito, stepping back, watching the Jyuubi get sucked inside Madara.

Obito glanced towards him, Madara, "Kakashi...stop him...for me...for Rin."

Kakashi nodded, standing with Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata, Nagato, and Konan.

"Sasuke! Now!" Nagato shouted as he and Sasuke jumped up, holding a large between their hands. They appeared in front of Madara, putting the sphere on top of him.

Something flashed past, with both Sasuke and Nagato barely catching a glimpse.

The two of them backed away, watching the satellite form. Sasuke and Nagato came down, putting more and more chakra in the seal, "Naruto, Hinata, give us all the chakra!"

Minato appeared behind them, "although I have little left, I will do my best."

The three of them started transferring massive amounts of chakra. Both Nagato and Sasuke used to increase the satellite's size with Madara and Jyuubi inside.

Nagato used the ring to communicate with the others, "we need the sealers!"

Minato nodded, "I'll bring them." He teleported, appearing with Kushina.

The two of them looked at each other, "Together?"

"Together."

In the space,

Jay sat in the void, watching them trying to seal, "Hmm, this might just work."

He glanced in a different direction. His sight crossed through the planet, in the Land of Demon. Priestesses house, "Miroku, I need you to go to the center of the battlefield. Help them add the seals. Don't use your real power."

Land of Demons,

Miroku was combing her daughter's hair, smiling as she looked in the mirror when she leaned down, kissing Shion's head, "Sweetheart, Mama will be back soon."

Shion nodded, watching Miroku disappear, who traveled from above massive numbers of Terracotta Soldiers, protecting this and the other countries. She traveled through the battlefield, looking at Shinobi's fighting together, killing the White Zetsu's and the disappearing Edo Tensei's.

She reached the massive satellite that was increasing in size more and more.

She reached in front of it, about to put her sealing Jutsu, when a black mouth appeared behind the seal, and the seal started deteriorating. As if it was aging. The stones became rotten, the seal broke apart, and the black mouth in space disappeared, releasing Madara.

In the space,

Jay narrowed his eyes, taking a deep breath, "And here I thought everything would be alright. Even though there is another universe in the equation."

He descended, disappearing in the space. When he appeared, he landed behind everyone, looking at Madara with pale skin, long white hair, a full-bodied black garment with black pants, gloves, and boots. Over which he wore a flowing white robe with six black magatama markings across his chest. And the familiar pattern of a black Rinnegan and nine black magatama markings in rows of three on his back. A grey horn-like protrusions grew out of his left temple. And overlapped his forehead akin to a protector with an upward curve on the right temple. He gave him an overall appearance similar to the Sage of the Six Paths.

Minato disappeared with Kushina, appearing back alone, standing beside him, "So? What was that?"

"Hmm, it's complicated. But here we are," Jay whispered, "It shouldn't be too big a problem in the short term."

Minato rolled his eyes, "Really? Because I saw whatever it was spoiling one chance of stopping the world's end."

"Um...yeah, other than that, there shouldn't be any more problem."

Sasuke took out his sword, "If we don't defeat this guy, there won't be us. There really won't be any problem."

Jay shrugged, "Good point. But we should be able to handle this, right?"

Hinata narrowed her eyes, covered in cyan-colored cloak, "I'll go first."

Shortly

"I am impressed," Jay whispered, dodging the Truth-seeking balls, protected by numerous Truth-seeking balls of Hinata.

Even though Madara was fighting against him, Minato, Naruto, Sasuke, Nagato, with Hinata being the main force.

Although he didn't have much to offer, how he was now. With most of his powers drained. Jay was barely at the same level as Hashirama was in his prime, and that too was with the help of Miroku.

The darkness created unlimited shields to sacrifice to those Truth-seeking balls. At the same time, the light allowed Jay to keep up with Madara and Hinata.

Minato and Kakashi were in the distance, teleporting or out others from harm's way. The danger that Truth-seeking balls possessed was too great.

"Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!" Hinata's attack collided against Madara's body, sending him flying.

Jay appeared beside her, and the two transformed into pink and cyan light, colliding against the silver one.

The three of them tear apart the land all around them, reaching the sky, even fighting in space.

Naruto, Nagato, and Sasuke were fighting against the Limbo clones that Madara had created to keep them busy long enough.

Jay dodged the light fang, swinging the sword made of light, only to be stopped by Madara's rod made of Truth-seeking balls.

Worst of all, even the light covered in darkness could barely defend when colliding against this rod.

Thankfully, Hinata didn't give him much chance to attack, keeping him busy.

Suddenly, one of Madara's limbo clones appeared, kicking Jay's stomach, creating a distance. He created a protective spherical shield around Hinata, keeping her inside.

Madara narrowed his eyes, "You have given me more trouble than I thought. But this ends now."

He removed the protector, raising near the moon, staring at it, as a third eye opened on his forehead, "Shine Upon the World, Infinite Tsukuyomi."

Jay looked up, seeing the Sharingan with nine-tomoes appear on the moon. He just looked when Hinata appeared beside him, covering him with Truth-seeking balls.

While Sasuke protected Naruto, Nagato protected Kakashi and Minato.

Madara put his hands together, "Divine Deep Forest Jutsu!"

Jay felt a ripple in his eyes, causing the fire to come out of his body, burning even the illusion and chakra protecting him. When Hinata covered him with a Shield of Truth-seeking balls again, "Sensei?"

Jay curled his lips, falling on his knee, "Sorry, I don't like illusions, and my will doesn't like it even more."

He was already running at fumes, and this was a strong illusion. Burning it away was even more troublesome. It took a lot out of him.

"Sensei, what should we do? If the Infinite Tsukiyomi has been activated..."

"Kaguya is on the way," Jay whispered, even though they tried telling Madara that all this was a trap. But then, the hubris made Madara ignore all those warnings.

Hinata sat down in front of him, raising his head. She planted her lips on top of his, "We have time."

Jay put his hands on the ground, crossing his spread legs, with Hinata sitting on him, madly kissing him.

Jay stroked her face, "Shh, I get it. It's scary, and we might not win. But don't lose hope."

He looked into her beautiful blue eyes, "You are the strongest one among us. You can't lose hope."

Hinata buried her face in his neck, "But...Sensei...I could barely keep up with Madara-san. How will we face against someone far stronger?"

Jay stroked her back, "Things will work out. I know that Sage of Six Paths left something behind for Naruto and Sasuke. The two of them learned Yin and Yang and took their abilities further. But they still aren't at the same level as Sage of Six Paths. With his help, we should have enough strength help to deal with him."

The two of them sat there, waiting, when he felt a vibration under him, "all right. It's over."

"Are you sure?"

"Very," Jay stood up, and Hinata removed the cover, watching Madara land.

But just as he landed, Obito was taken over by Black Zetsu. Madara didn't even enjoy his victory when Black Zetsu pieced his hand through Madara's body.

But the next moment, Obito's body got smashed in the distance. Yet, Black Zetsu held onto Madara as Madara shouted, "did you think I wouldn't be prepared for you?!"

"Why would you betray me?! You are my will!"

Black Zetsu held onto Madara, laughing, "I am not your will! Do you think only you can use others? You can't be used?! Why would you think you are special, Madara! My will is Kaguya!!!"

"Agggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!" Madara screamed as chakra started getting sucked in towards him.

Chakra from the whole of the alliance, but rather than them, he was worried about one. Tsunade possessed near-infinite chakra because of her restorative powers. If she fell victim to this Jutsu, Kaguya might have infinite chakra, "Really messed up on that one."

Jay watched the Madara that had been ballooned to an enormous size, watching it reduce. He took a deep breath, appearing in front of Naruto and Sasuke, "It's time for you two to meet someone."

"What?! Wha-!" They shouted, fainting as soon as Jay's fingers touched their heads.

The two of them fell towards the ground. When Jay looked towards Nagato and Minato, "Go! Take these two! And whatever happens, find Tsunade and free her from this Jutsu! You can't let Kaguya get Tsunade's chakra!"

Minato and Nagato stared at the shape of the woman forming, feeling the chakra that was far above Madara.

Minato appeared beside Naruto and Sasuke, disappearing with them. He appeared again, taking Nagato with him.

Hinata created a tailed beast-sized stone golem, "Sensei!"

Jay appeared on the head of the golem, patting her shoulder, "Don't worry. All we have to do is survive."

His scarlet eyes flashed, and the Karma spread through his body. A sword of pink light and purple darkness appeared in his hands.

Kaguya opened her eyes, putting overwhelming pressure on him and making him clench the hilts.

She watched him, widening her eyes in surprise, "Karma? Why do you have Karma? Are you an Otsutsuki?"

Her Byakugan spread, looking at him, "No, that's not it. You are not an Otsutsuki, yet you have Karma without a soul. Did humans master it?"

Black Zetsu, in her arms, said, "Mother, this is something that a woman had developed on her own. Then she taught him."

"Someone developed Karma," She seemed relaxed that there wasn't any other Otsusuki. She looked around, "This place is my precious sanctuary. We can't let it get damaged any further. Let us stop fighting."

Jay's vein twitched, and the next moment, they were in the Lava Dimension, making Jay curl his lips, "I was wondering whom these Dimensions belong to."

"Sensei? Does that mean?!"

"Pretty sure it means what you are thinking," Jay looked at the stone golem getting sucked in the Lava, "I'll rush it. Defend me!"

"Yes, Sensei!"

Jay rushed in, flashing through the air, turning into a pink beam, while Kaguya raised her hand, throwing bones towards him. Jay used the swords in his hands, breaking the bones down.

But when the two hit, his swords turned into ashes, making him create more. When he reached Kaguya, she teleported, appearing behind him.

"Two can play at that game," A portal appeared in front of Jay, and he appeared behind Kaguya.

And soon, rather than speed, it became a game of teleportation, appearing in different places, waiting for the next to make a move.

Hinata could barely keep up with them when Jay went inside the portal. Kaguya used her Byakugan to look for him in different places when he appeared back where he teleported. He wanted to drive the swords through her stomach, but she absorbed the chakra.

She pointed her hands towards Jay, firing the bones, about to hit Jay in the face.

But at the last moment, a smile appeared on Jay's face, and a portal appeared in front of him.

"Ugh!" Kaguya twitched, backing off. She held her arm, glaring at Jay, "You!!!"

Jay raised his chin, smiling, "Can you survive your bones? I saw what they did to my swords."

Kaguya cut her arm, regenerating it and the clothes. Jay raised his eyebrow; his lip curled, "so you are not immune to your powers."

Kaguya turned her eyes towards him, and abruptly, he was frozen inside ice.

Darkness leaked from his body, disintegrating all the ice surrounding him, "Oh well, let's see what I can do with these powers."

Jay raised his hand, and the darkness shot forth from him, covering everything in his sight.

Kaguya didn't fall behind. Her hairs spread, combatting the darkness. But she had an advantage that he didn't.

Well, other than bones, truth-seeking balls came towards Jay. He had to teleport away to dodge them, "Damn it, woman. You are too deadly and not in a good way."

A pillar of light came from above her, covering Kaguya. But it burst apart when numerous chakra fists appeared, blasting the light away.

Jay dodged most of them, but one hit him in the waist, creating a hole. He looked down, "ahh, got me."

He fell towards the magma below when Kaguya appeared before him, cradling his face, "all chakra is mine."

Jay opened his scarlet eyes, talking in a sore voice as he felt her take his chakra, "Can you take chakra through a kiss? Being kissed by a beautiful woman to the death wouldn't be a bad death."

Kaguya looked down at him without any emotions in her eyes.

Jay curled his lips, "You have lost yourself in power and fear. Nothing matters to you other than the few close to you, does it?"

"Other than a few close? The only one that is close to my mother is me. Mother is the Divine Tree. It wasn't the Divine Tree trying to regain chakra, but the mother's will to take back the chakra. Even Hagoromo didn't know that."

Jay raised his eyebrow, closing his eyelids, "I understand. And here I thought that there was a chance that you could be saved."

Abruptly, intense light caused Kaguya to close her eyes, and Jay's wounds healed. His hand pierced through her chest, "Then, I won't hesitate."

Ice Dimension,

Jay was against the wall, more like there were truth-seeking balls, turned into pikes, passed through his wrists, legs, thighs, keeping him in place. He curled his lips, "You know. This is not how I imagined it going. I was expecting more of me piercing your heart meant, you dying and me becoming the world's savior."

Kaguya's face was flushed, having absorbed an abnormal amount of chakra from him. She had nearly twice as strong as she was when this started. If this went on like this, then no one would be able to stop her.

"You look flushed. How about we take a break. Say beautiful, would you like to spend a night? It has been a thousand years since you got any. I am good at it."

Two more pikes pierced his upper arms, making his mouth twitch, "I would have taken a no for the answer."

(Jay! Let me help you!) Miroku tried to use her powers, but Jay kept her inside for some reason.

(No, now is not the time. I had to dominate this universe and remove the memories of that sword, but you are my trump card.)

(How?! She is becoming too strong?!)

(Well...not sure...)

"Get away from my husband!!" He just said when a punch landed on Kaguya's face, shooting her body rolling inside the glacier below them. She stopped when Jay laughed, exulting, "Ha! You are so done for!"

"Uncle!" Naruto appeared before him, taking out all the pikes with chakra-created hands.

Tsunade held his rapidly healing body, whispering, "Are you ok?"

Jay softly pecked her lips, "Bow that you are here. I am."

Sasuke showed a rare worried expression, "Uncle?"

Jay took a deep breath, "I am alright. But she absorbed much of my chakra. She's stronger than before."

Kaguya rose in the air, looking towards Tsunade, "He belongs to me."

Jay scratched his cheek, "Yeah...it seems I haven't lost my charm."

Tsunade rolled her eyes, letting go of him, letting him fall in the snow. She curled her lips, turning towards Kaguya, cracking her knuckles, "I am not sharing my husband with you."

Naruto rubbed the back of his head, letting out a hollow laugh, "Maybe...we shouldn't interfere?"

Sasuke looked towards Naruto, "Enough of that. We need to seal her, no matter what. We only have one chance."

After much hard work Jay was lying on the snow, but there wasn't a change in his expression. He was lost in thought about a way to kill Kaguya.

In the time that he had, he tried breaking off her body. He tried piercing her heart to see what kind of regeneration she possessed.

From what he could tell, even if he destroyed every atom in her body, she would still restore herself. And from how she said all chakra belonged to her, maybe it had some truth.

He had a feeling she had will-regeneration. Her will was in chakra. As long as there was chakra, she would restore.

Well, that was one theory, the other being. As long as Kaguya's soul existed, she could restore herself.

The problem was that he had already lost the First Blood, and couldn't use his power to dominate the concepts anymore. He had lost Enryakyoten since the other ones would realize what it was. The only way was to use the power of the Familiar that he had created, but it would barely make him her equal, and even then he would give away much information.

He raised his eyes, looking at the sky before his attention drifted. He raise his palm, touching the karma, and the corner of his lips shifted

"I know how to kill you."

He laughed, raising his hands towards the sky, "Woohoo!!" He stood up, flying up to where Naruto, Sasuke, and Tsunade were fighting against Kaguya.

He stopped in front of them, facing Kaguya, smiling, "I know...how to kill you."

Kaguya raised her hand, firing bones at him, "You can't kill me."

Jay chuckled while telling Miroku his plan. He left her behind to tell Sasuke, Naruto, and Tsunade when he rushed towards Kaguya.

He dodged the bones, teleporting behind her, kissing her lips, "Oh, believe it. I can kill you."

Kaguya fell to the ground, making her feel disorientated. When she opened her eyes, there were numerous Naruto's shadow clones, saying in unison, "Rasengan Barrage!!!"

Kaguya didn't even have to get up when numerous air fists hit Naruto's shadow clones. But one of them, holding a Rasengan much more significant than any other, was being protected by Sasuke.

His Susanoo broke apart as he coughed up blood. But Tsunade appeared in his place, protecting Naruto's one shadow clone, even when a few holes appeared in her body after taking the punches.

Kaguya fired her bones, but Tsunade created a portal, firing those bones back at Kaguya, holding her in place.

She teleported out of the way, giving Naruto full reign, "Super-Ultra-big Rasengan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Kaguya's body got enveloped in the massive Rasengan, "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Naruto's shadow clone disappeared, the Rasengan disappeared without leaving any flesh in Kaguya's body. But there was still her chakra, forming the shape of a woman, and Black Zetsu, "this is not enough to kill mother!! She is chakra herself!!!"

Kaguya's pure chakra form was hugged from behind by Jay, who was covered in scarlet Karma's marking, "Exactly...she is a chakra, itself. And Karma absorbs chakra."

"No!! You can't do that?!" Black Zetsu shouted when Hinata inserted sticks made of truth-seeking balls, keeping him in pace, "I have my role. I won't let you get in his way."

Kaguya tried to break free, her voice resounding around them, "You will just become my new vessel!"

Jay smiled, holding her pure chakra body, raising in the air, whispering,

"Yeah, from what I understand...you need a body for Karma to work. When we are done...there won't be a body left."

"That wasn't the deal!" Tsunade appeared in front of him, in the sky.

Jay rolled his eyes, "I am busy here, stopping her from ending the world as we know it."

Tsunade's Karma shined, marks covering her body. She put her hand on Kaguya, "If we absorb half each, then there is a lesser chance she can take over."

Jay looked at Tsunade, there were plenty of things he wanted to say, but the one that came out was, "I love you..."

A bright grin on Tsunade's face, "I love you too..."
