Calico's grip on Amanda and the narrative waned, and her wires were untethered. She fell onto the throne with a slump, physically drained. Holly felt the weight against her wings lift and found herself standing on wobbly legs.
Holly looked down. Her arms were covered in black, shoulder-length mesh, and she was wearing a suit of some kind. Holly could barely make out her fuzzy paw pads; knew where the zipper on the back of her suit was so she could peel away her flesh, but this felt natural. It felt like her. Wings fluttered; compound eyes could see light from every angle. All the colors filtered into her mind in a way that felt normal.
Free like she had never been before, she trudged close to Amanda. Kneeling down to examine the whimpering girl, she could see that her Tyrant was in pain. The witch-wires had done something to her, pulling too much energy from Amanda's frail frame. Holly leaned in, felt the weakness of her mistress's breath. That wouldn't do; Holly had to help.
The mascot leaned in, the black mesh in her mouth-guard the only thing separating their lips. Sweet honey dripped from her maw, falling onto Amanda's tongue and rolling down her throat. She jolted, energy filling her system, and Holly paused. Amanda's breath was heavy and ragged as she looked the mascot in the compound eyes.
"More," Amanda pleaded. "I need more. Kiss again, Holly, please." Amanda pulled her in this time, exchanging honeyed lips with the fresh Malice. She drank deeply from Holly's kiss, breaking and panting as nectar dribbled down her cheek. "Oh no, I'm becoming a pervert. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to command you, I just…."
"Shhh. It's okay, Amanda." Holly crawled onto the throne, sitting atop the Malice and letting her black and yellow body rub against Amanda's purple suit. "We'll just exchange pollen… once. We both need it. When we're done, we can talk about this, us, my service to you, bzzz."
Amanda gasped. Holly let out an adorable buzz. She hesitated. "If that's okay, maybe we can. Just once. I. Be gentle, okay? I've never done that before."
Holly buzzed a light chuckle in response. "Then let me bee your first."
"Oh, that was bad, and you know it." Amanda pulled Holly in, shutting down any further pun-making from the freshly minted insect.
