He Can’t Do Anything about Me

As quickly as lighting, Li Jingyun hauled Qin Sheng to the back of the echo wall.

Qin Sheng was strangled by him and his eyes rolled back, “Young Master... what you terrified of...that's Housekeeper Yin."

It's her, that's why he's scared!

Bah, it's not scared either; after all, it's only a servant. What's there to be afraid of? Li Jingyun was simply miffed at the existence of someone like Yin Huayue, who has canine-like nose and could track him down, wherever he go.

The practice fields appear to be unstayable.

“Go, Young Master will bring you to Qifeng Tower [1] to play today.”

Qin Sheng wondered, "Didn't you state that Housekeeper Yin was aware you came out?"

"Stop talking rubbish."

"Oh."

Turning his head and sprinting toward the stables, Li Jingyun frantically untied the reins, but as soon as he held out his hand, someone came alongside him and gently assisted him.

Efficient and slender white hands.

"Young Master." Hua Yue said with a gentle grin, "The general has an order. Please return to the mansion immediately."

"..."

As sand blew across the stable, and the horse snorted.

The hay in the trough emitted a strange aroma, and the surroundings were silent.

Li Jingyun gently took half a step, but the person next to him reacted even more than him. She followed him back two paces, and more than a dozen soldiers surged up behind him.

After a brief pause, Li Jingyun turned his head as if he had just caught sight of her and said, "Look at my memory, there is still something going on in the mansion today.

Then, turning to Qin Sheng, he asked, "Why do you still take your master to Qifeng Tower knowing that the mansion has been busy lately?"

Qin Sheng: "...?"

Without any desire to pursue the matter further, Hua Yue simply bowed her head and said, "Young Master, please ride your horse," while bending her knees in a sideways fashion.

Li Jingyun grinned broadly, seized the reins for a moment, and then tugged at the placket of his clothing. "I was just working out, and is sweating a lot.’

Hua Yue looked at him with a smile.

Ordinarily, one would respond that he could shower and change at the practice field which he could then wait for a chance to flee, but Yin Huayue grinned and nodded, almost saying, "Act, you continue to act."

Li Jingyun became irritated and was forced to stop lying.

"Let's go."

"You shouldn't leave the mansion today," she said. Hua Yue grinned as she led the horse outside. "The young woman and Lady Han came together. You will be seen as lacking in manners if you arrive late."

"It's my fault; I temporarily forgot about it." Li Jingyun was devastated "The lieutenant informed me yesterday that there will be a morning workout today and requested me to compare sword skills. For a while, I was happy and overlooked the crucial thing."

He mounted his horse and returned his gaze to her: "Did you come by carriage?"

Huayue gave a nod.

"Then come up, this Lord will take you back." He grinned and stretched out his hand, “The carriage moves too slowly, they will blame me if I can't make it back in time.”

It ought to be your fault, right? Hua Yue was furious. The General's Mansion had been busy for three days, and even the elderly guy who kept an eye on the back door knew that the Han family would be arriving today. How could this person, who has a good memory, possibly forget?

But as she is a slave, she is powerless to change anything; all she can do is laugh, take his hand, and ride on the horses back while tightly clutching the saddle's tail.

"Sit firmly." After casting a quick glance behind him, Li Jingyun pressed the horse's belly between his legs, which caused the animal to neigh and start galloping in the direction of the road.

The surrounding scenery quickly regressed, the wind was blowing so hard that people couldn't open their eyes, and Hua Yue frowned again and again, "Young Master, slow down."

"Aren’t we rushing?" Li Jingyun sighed and said, "Look at the weather, if we are slower we will lose decorum."

Hua Yue grinned while gritting her teeth and gripping the saddle as if she were in a battle with him to stay on the horse.

When the horse slowed down after two sticks of incense, Hua Yue was able to open her eyes, but she almost fell, “Young Master, this is not the route back!"

"Yu-" When Li Jingyun drew back and looked around in confusion, he asked, "It's not this one, then which one is is?"

Huayue was about to snap.

The sun has risen, and it is time for the Han family to arrive at the mansion. If neither this Lord nor she are there, how will the Lady deal with her side?

"Young Master, please dismount."

"I dismount?" Li Jingyun dallied on the reins, "Do you know the way?"

This rogue appeared to be two separate people when contrasted to the one who wields fire on the battlefield.

She grumbled and decided she was too lazy to engage in conversation with him. He was thrown out of the stirrup after Huayue hooked up with her right leg and kicked his shoe toe. She then stood up using her own strength, propped herself up, crossed her left leg over his head, and sat down in front of him.

The light gray skirt went over his head and fell in front of him. Li Jingyun felt a pain in the back of his hand, and the reins were in her hands.

“Jia!”

The horse turned back toward its starting point before galloping off.

Because this action happened so quickly, Li Jingyun was a little taken aback. When he eventually recovered, he could already make out the West City Gate in front of him.

He had an awful face.

Youn Zhangshi He reached out and took hold of her waist. "As a slave, you should never offend your master in this way. Even if mother is on your side, you are still a slave."

"In response to Young Master's words, this slave is aware." She hurried without turning around.

"You are aware of it?" He gritted his teeth as the strength in his hand increased, “You are obviously not scared."

Huayue no longer has the heart to speak to him; all she can think about is how to justify it later, and even if they rush over, they will be late by a few incense sticks. But as long as you can come up with a plausible explanation, then… "You still think we can reach in time?" asked someone behind us.

"Young Master, don't be concerned," Huayue said lightly, “This slave has her own way."

Anything is possible as long as the sky hasn't fallen. She has this assurance.

"It's unfortunate." The fingers on her waist loosened one by one, and Li Jingyun's voice came from behind his ears, a little hot.

"You might not have a choice this time.

What exactly does this mean?

Hua Yue was stunned, and before she could ask, the horse's hoof stepped into the mud pit, splashing muddy water, and in the turbulence, she suddenly felt empty behind her.

With the wind, something quickly fell back and rolled over from both sides, making her back feel cold.
