Dog that Confuses People’s Hearts

What it means by the house leaks when it rains all night [1]; what it means for people to have their teeth stuck while drinking cold water [2]. Li Jingyun groaned and leaned against the courtyard wall, convinced that today is really going to kill him. He still has the option of running, but after taking a quick look at who is in front of him, he isn't even motivated to get up and walk.

——According to the agreement, if someone finds out, the slave will be the first to lead someone to capture young master.

Having one's words come true in a prophetic manner.

Curling his lips, Li Jingyun stretched out both his hands and handed them to Yin Huayue.

Amidst the flames, Huayue was a little distracted, but she quickly whirled around to meet the guard unit that had arrived.

“Housekeeper Yin?” When they recognized her, the guards halted in place and asked, "Why are you here at this hour?"

Young Master is unable to sleep in the middle of the night, so I accompany him for a stroll." Hua Yue glanced at Wang Fu and sighed, "It is late, and he hasn't been on alert yet, but when you flash your torches, he wrongly considered Young Master as a bad person.

"..."

Li Jingyun, startled, lifted his head.

The person in front of him had a very straight back, and when he glanced at her from behind, all he could make out were her hot-red earlobes.

“This…do you need this little ones [3] to send the Young Master back?”

"No need, you may keep patrolling, and I'll take the Young Master back to the Eastern Courtyard,"

“Roger.”

As the guards dispersed, turning to look back at each step, Huayue twisted around and extended an arm to the figure leaning in the shadows.

She had thin, delicate fingers that appeared even softer in the moonlight.

Li Jingyun's eyes were overflowing with astonishment.

"Aren't you going to bring someone to arrest me?"

Huayue grinned and said, "Young Master, spare ribs that dropped on the table would not be thrown on the ground as long as it can be picked up."

“You have the audacity to call this Young Master spare ribs?”

“Ow?” Wang Fu cocked his head, puzzledly looking at the man in front of him, thinking about how it didn't appear like a lovely and tasty spare ribs.

After patting it on the head, Huayue moved past it, grabbed Li Jingyun's arm, and placed it on her shoulder.

"What are you doing?"

Hua Yue supported him and pressed the majority of his body against her, "This servant will escort you back to the courtyard."

Li Jingyun hesitantly followed her and said, "Housekeeper Yin has taken the wrong medicine," with a peculiar feeling in his heart.

"Do you want this Young Master to owe you a favor?"

"Just say it if you want, I'm not a stingy person."

"Why are you moving so slowly? My legs aren't broken; are you waiting for the sun to rise?"

Huayue remained silent throughout.

After returning to the Eastern Courtyard and shutting the door of the main house, Huayue walked to the cabinet to get the medicine box, and knelt down next to his bed.

In an instant, Li Jingyun's face changed dramatically, turning a vibrant crimson color.

When did you discover it?

As she prepared the powder, Huayue bowed her head and said, "When beside the courtyard wall."

He was a bit irritated, "So you don't say a word on the way, is to watch me make a fool of myself?"

Huayue pursed her lips and when she reached out to touch his cuff, the man in front of him quickly withdrew his hand and grabbed it firmly.

She lifted her eyes, “Young Master, you don’t have to be bashful.”

"Bashful... I have nothing to be bashful about."

Having said so, it was obvious that fury was written all over Jungyng's face.

Too lazy to be stubborn with him, Huayue immediately grabbed his hand, carefully rolled up the cuffs for him, and mentioned gently while dipping the medicine, "Serving Young Master is what servants should do, Young Master does not have to mind. en frequently suffer injuries outside, and there is nothing to conceal.”

As soon as the words were spoken, Huayue saw the knife wound on his arm; the incision was so deep that the skin was folded up.

She cast a quick glance his way as her heart skipped a beat.

A young master from a wealthy family—how could he have such a wound on his body? The person in front of him appeared unsurprised by it, merely looking at her as if he were a wounded animal, gritting his teeth and considered devouring her to replenish his health.

Huayue quietly rolled up his sleeves and administered the medication to the wound.

Li Jingyun stated in a hurried tone: "Just administer the medication; don't do anything else. I'm not a three-year-old kid who is frightened of pain, why do you have to blow?"

In light of this, his body's blown-up hair gradually began to smooth out. He slouched down on the plush cushion furiously, and with a glimpse out of the corner of his eyes, he noticed the back of Yin Huayue's neck, which was exposed since he had dropped her head.

This existence is white, and even if the lighting illuminates her bright orange, she does not appear to be warmed by it.

With his unharmed hand caressing the necklace on the hook of the sleeping tent, the white jade is cool to the touch. After that, Li Jingyun shifted his gaze and reached for the nape of her neck with his hand.

It is actually warm?

The warm touch spread from his fingertips to his heart, Li Jingyun stopped, appearing as if he didn't respond, his dark pupils were covered in a coating of mist, and his eyelashes quiver slightly.

This felt so strange, he couldn’t even begin to comprehend what was happening when he saw Yin Huayue's face close at hand.

Holding the medication bottle, Hua Yue gave him a stern look.

Li Jingyun felt an unexplainable shiver down his spine.

He took back his hand without a trace, turned his head to one side, pausing before urging while slightly annoyed, "Still not done bandaging?”

"This injury was cut by an arrow. The skin has deteriorated so severely that it is hard to wrap it at will even though there is no residue within. There will undoubtedly be a fever tomorrow." Huayue said while burning a needle crimson on the candle, "Young master, you have to put up with this for a little while."

Li Jingyun's eyes grew wide, "What do you want to do?"

"Two stitches will do." Hua Yue skillfully threading the thread, "Young master is a man who can stand up to the sky and can handle swords. How can you be afraid of this little thing?"

"This Young Master is not afraid of stitches, but you." He said with a grimace, “You're not a doctor, so you may act hastily. But does this Young Master still have to grant you my life if you make a mistake?”

Huayue shook her head, "This slave is familiar with this. Young Master, please rest assured.”

After her words fell, without waiting for him to continue struggling, she turned around and held part of his arm down so that the wound could be seen in the candlelight. She then carefully dropped the needle.

Li Jingyun drew in a chilly breath, enraged and in agony, and wanted to scream. But as a male, it's quite humiliating. However, it is really unpleasant, to try to endure with it.

In an effort to ignore him, Yin Huayue turned her back on him. After snorting and showing his teeth, Li Jingyun bit her shoulder ferociously.

Huayue froze and cursed silently, but she quickly picked up her movements and began to stitch.

As the scent of this person's body flooded his nostrils, and Li Jingyun bit with his strength but slowly letting go after a while and looking up awkwardly. The person in front of him had her eyes squinted and her brows furrowed as she stared carefully at his wound.

The eyes of this person turned out to be light brown; in contrast to the light, they appear to be made of amber.

Li Jingyun extended his hand, wanting to touch it once again, but this time he stopped in time, frowned at his hand, and pondered what was wrong and why he always desired to touch others.

It would be fine if is to touch a beauty which overthrows states and cities, but the one in front of me was clearly a dog with sharp teeth and mouth.

"Where did the Young Master go tonight?" The dog began to speak.
