Although his identity as a school bully was juvenile, Ren Shuhan received the news and skipped class to leave the school without any obstacles. The gatekeeper didn’t stop him as he headed straight for Yi High School.

According to the original story, Alphas became independent once they differentiated, so they didn’t need their parents around for most things. Moreover, as the protagonist and an Alpha Gong, Ren Shuhan’s parents would either be antagonistic or mere decorations. He could go alone to talk to the principal about transferring schools.

That’s right, his wife had transferred, so why would he be doing there?

Ren Shuhan entered Yi High School without an appointment, his face serving as identification. The principal personally received him, and within two minutes, they had discussed the transfer matters.

Because all the principal cared about was the enrollment rate, a student with top grades in the entire city naturally wouldn’t be turned away. Ren Shuhan had only two inquiries.

First of all: “Did Song Xiyue transfer here?”

Principal of Yi High School: “Yes, yes, the little A and little O during puberty, I understand, I understand. The teachers will assign you to the same class, sitting in front and behind each other, but don’t let it affect your studies.”

Second of all: “Where is Song Xiyue? Why isn’t he here?”

Principal of Yi High School: “He just left. You arrived right after him, didn’t you meet? He went to the school library to find some textbooks. You… Oh, he ran so fast. Ah, to be young is truly wonderful.”

When Ren Shuhan entered the library, he noticed a tall man standing at the entrance. His appearance bore some resemblance to Song Xiyue, possibly the eldest son of the Song family, Song Xishi.

The man frowned and was focused on his phone, completely unaware of Ren Shuhan entering.

Since Ren Shuhan didn’t feel like greeting him, he went directly to the third floor where the textbooks were sold.

Yi High School was different from Song Xiyue’s previous school. Although both schools had good academic performance, Yi High School focused more on the college entrance examination, while Song Xiyue’s previous school focused on sending students to renowned foreign universities. Therefore, the curriculum and textbooks were different. The principal politely recommended all the important textbooks to Ren Shuhan.

“These are all essential. I suggest you buy them all and review them multiple times.”

However, as soon as Ren Shuhan entered the bookstore, he realized that it was impossible.

There were way too many questions here!

In Ren Shuhan’s memory, the last time he went out to buy study materials was decades ago, and he had long forgotten what he learned in high school. Staying in the prestigious experimental class was the right choice, but for the sake of his wife, he would start from scratch… endure.

And then, he didn’t buy a single book.

He wandered between the shelves, and successfully spotted his adorable one in the mathematics section.

A day without seeing him felt like three autumns had passed without him.

He thought he would impulsively rush up and hug him, but instead, he held his breath and looked at him seriously.

Song Xiyue looked exactly like Jiang Qingyue from the previous world, as if Jiang Qingyue had returned to his teenage years. He had a slender figure, fair skin, sleek black hair, long and dense eyelashes like raven feathers, and glossy, moist lips. The image of him holding a book between the bookshelves was excessively beautiful. When he saw him, he showed a surprised expression, like a child, and shyly lowered his chin.

The only difference was that there seemed to be a faint sweetness emanating from him.

“Qingyue?” Ren Shuhan didn’t like sweet things, but his Adam’s apple involuntarily rolled several times before he spoke.

“Do you still remember me?”

Song Xiyue chuckled, his expression vivid, and his voice clear and pleasant. He helplessly said to the former class monitor and physical education committee member, “It seems like you don’t remember me, right? Class monitor, I’m not called Qingyue, I’m Song Xiyue.”

It’s okay if you don’t remember, as long as I do.

“I definitely remember your name,” Ren Shuhan nodded and approached him. “I just misspoke accidentally. I’m sorry because I was too nervous to talk to you.”

Song Xiyue: “?”

His cheeks instantly turned red.

“Why are you here? Um…” Song Xiyue turned his head, took two steps back, and whispered, “I heard from a classmate this morning that I might have… said some impolite things to you before. I’m sorry. I had some health issues today, and my memory is a bit blurry. I wanted a change of environment, so I transferred schools without apologizing to you. I’m really sorry, I won’t trouble you anymore.”

Ah! It’s the same symptoms as he had last time!

Ren Shuhan felt sorry for him and raised his hand, wanting to touch his head. But then he realized that he was still a stranger to Song Xiyue, so he forcibly restrained himself. His hand hung by his side, clenching into a fist several times.

“You don’t need to apologize because I don’t remember either,” Ren Shuhan said. “You probably noticed that I wasn’t in the classroom this morning, right? That’s because I suddenly lost my memory too, and I probably forgot more than you.”

“Huh?” Song Xiyue looked up in surprise. “Really?”

That expression… Ren Shuhan covered his nose.

So adorable, and why is his face so red?!

“It feels so strange. My older brother and my parents also suddenly experienced these symptoms. We went to the hospital at noon, and they said it might be food poisoning, but my brother didn’t eat breakfast at home.”

Song Xiyue revealed his medical condition and privacy to a barely acquainted classmate, completely unaware. It was as if he had found a kindred spirit. He clasped his hands in front of his chest, tightly hugging the book, and his eyes sparkled with trust… he was just too cute.

“So,”You also have these symptoms? Are there other classmates in the class experiencing the same thing? Do you know why?” Ren Shuhan’s eyes carried a smile as he focused on Song Xiyue.

“I know, but I can’t tell you the reason right now,” Ren Shuhan continued. “You still call me class monitor, but I can only call you by your name. We’re just ordinary classmates, so I can’t tell you the reason yet.” He took out his phone and unlocked it, handing it over to Song Xiyue. “However, if you’re willing to share your contact information with me, we can gradually get to know each other better. Once our relationship progresses to a certain extent, I will tell you everything I know without holding back.”

Song Xiyue, in a daze, accepted the phone and instinctively added his contact information. But he realized that Ren Shuhan already had it saved, with the nickname “Baby.” It suddenly hit him what Ren Shuhan was implying, and his face turned red up to his neck.

“You… you have my number…”

Ren Shuhan nodded, taking the phone back: “Other people giving it to me doesn’t count. It’s only when you give it to me that I can contact you, okay?”

Song Xiyue became flustered and started stuttering: “Wh-what?”

“To contact you,” Ren Shuhan extended his right hand, intending to shake hands with him. “We don’t remember what happened in the past, so let’s get to know each other again and give it a try, okay?”

Try what?

Without thinking, Song Xiyue also extended his hand and Ren Shuhan shook it, exerting a bit of force.

When Song Xiyue tried to retreat, Ren Shuhan didn’t let go. Instead, he lightly tugged at him and supported himself on the bookshelf, leaning closer to his neck, taking a sniff.

“You smell so sweet…”

Why is it so sweet? Ren Shuhan remembered, it was the smell of chocolate.

Qingyue had a sweet tooth, so it wasn’t surprising for him to smell sweet. But Ren Shuhan himself never liked sweets, yet he was now inexplicably drawn by the scent, tempted to lean in and take a lick.

Ren Shuhan was still getting used to the ABO dynamics and had some difficulty controlling his pheromones.

Song Xiyue’s voice became slightly higher, and he said nervously, “Elder Brother!”

Ren Shuhan was stunned, overjoyed.

Did my baby remember me? Or has he fallen in love with me at first sight? It’s okay for him to call me Elder Brother! I’m totally fine with it!

Then, Song Xiyue broke free from his hand and hurriedly ran to Song Xishi, who had appeared behind them at some point. He stammered, “Brother, sorry, I ran into a classmate and it took some time.”

Ren Shuhan: “…”

Alright, little rascal, just you wait. Sooner or later, you’ll call me Brother.

Song Xishi nodded at him, saying, “Shuhan.”

The two families were acquainted, although the Song family was much weaker. However, Song Xishi was still seven years older than Ren Shuhan, so it was normal for him to address him that way.

Ren Shuhan also nodded and replied, “Big brother.”

Song Xishi: “?”

Who is your big brother?

You’re not usually this polite. Damn it, why are you being polite now?

Song Xishi became confused and subconsciously put his arm around his younger brother’s shoulder, standing in front of him and blocking the path to Ren Shuhan, the big-tailed Alpha.

Ren Shuhan even made a “shh” gesture to Song Xiyue, appearing particularly intimate. The most infuriating part was that this little Omega obediently nodded his head: Mhm, understood, I won’t mention the fact that you also lost your memory, okay?

Ren Shuhan: Good.

Is this what happens when an Omega grows up? Song Xishi wasn’t feeling well at all. Ren Shuhan frowned and coughed twice, reminding him not to get too close to Song Xiyue. “Big brother, Xiyue is an Omega.”

Ren Shuhan: You two aren’t even blood-related, so be mindful.

Song Xishi: “………………………”

Finally, Song Xishi didn’t even say goodbye and simply left with Song Xiyue.

Ren Shuhan followed not far away behind them. When Song Xiyue secretly glanced back at him when leaving the school, his ears turned red again. Ren Shuhan felt there was hope and sent him a message, “Do you have classes this afternoon?”

Song Xiyue replied, “No, I’m going to the hospital.”

“Still getting a check-up?” Ren Shuhan said. “Don’t worry, memory issues won’t affect your physical health, and there are no lasting effects.”

Song Xiyue responded, “I know, I’ve already done all the necessary tests. But my family situation is a bit complicated, and the hospital has suggested that I stay in for rest and recuperation.”

His entire family was experiencing memory disruptions, indicating that they were all affected by the protagonist’s aura. Since he is not a blood relative, it’s uncertain what might happen in the future. Ren Shuhan’s mission suddenly becomes urgent, and he needs to quickly gain his wife’s trust and bring him by his side for protection.

“Then can I come visit you this afternoon?”

“Don’t you have class?”

Ren Shuhan chuckled:…Some things never change. You’re still my good boy.

“No, I don’t have classes. I’m also transferring to Yi High School tomorrow.”

Song Xiyue: “!”

“Well… if you’re free, you can come and visit me. I’m at a certain private hospital, and there are many interesting things around. You can message me when you’re nearby.”

Song Xiyue sent him a location as well.

Is he really this good? Can he be even more obedient? Ren Shuhan deliberately waited for twenty minutes before going, making sure that Song Xishi had taken him to the hospital and left. Then he discovered that his wife could be even more obedient.

Song Xiyue ran out of the ward, carrying a small backpack, and stood at the hospital entrance waiting for him.

Ren Shuhan’s heart melted, but as he approached, he noticed that Song Xiyue looked downcast, holding his phone and replying to a message from someone.

“Um…” Song Xiyue seemed to be in a somewhat bad mood, as if he was afraid that Ren Shuhan would be upset if he stood him up, and there might be other circumstances as well. “I have something urgent to attend to, it might take a while. So, could you entertain yourself for a bit? Just a bit!”

“Is it alright for me to accompany you?” Ren Shuhan thought, what do I want to entertain myself with? I only want to play with you!

Song Xiyue hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

I wanna know what hospital they went to cuz like who diagnoses food poisoning when someone tells you they lost their memories? (´-ω-`)

Also, Teenage Jiang Qingyue looks quite cute ;-;
