After a while, the dust slowly dies down, clearing the sights of Hiccup and the black dragon. Both of whom are high alert while still in their previous positions.

"Arg. Fuck." a Groan comes from the last remaining dust cloud. "I could've died if it wasn't for this wish."

Hiccup and co.'s bodies relax after hearing a human voice, but their sights remain locked in onto the slowly dissipating dust. Not having to wait long, the dust settles and reveals the man who just fell from the sky.

a Rather muscular young man with long, dark blue-colored hair. He carries a sharp gaze, his eyes have black circles around them. He is dark-skinned, and on his body he bears light blue markings.

The blue-haired man's eyes snap towards Hiccup's direction.

"Oh..." The blue haired man raises an eyebrow at the duo. "Am I... Am I interrupting you guys?" He asks, making Hiccup slowly turn his gaze to the black dragon.

"Huff." The dragon exhales before letting out a high pitched screech and flies away.

Hiccup watches on as the dragon stumbles through the sky, flying further and further away.

"Don't worry bud." The blue-haired man pats Hiccup's shoulder. "They always come back."

"What?" Hiccup asks in befuddlement. "And who are you?" He stands up, intending to intimidate the man, but it only works in intimidating himself as he saw the height difference, not to mention the body difference.

"Oh me?" The man chuckles. "I'm Jo-" The man says but stops before he completes his name. "I'm Acnologia." He states reaching his arm to the front of Hiccup. "And you are?" Acnologia asks.

"Uhhh... Hiccup." Hiccup states his name and carefully shakes Acnologia's hand.

"Nice to meet you Hiccup." Acnologia says before slinging his arm around Hiccup's neck. "Now... You wouldn't happen to know a place where I can stay?" He asks, ignoring the look of discomfort on Hiccup's face. "As you can see," Acnologia points at the rag draped around his neck, acting like a cloak. "I don't have anything to wear, much less a place to sleep at the moment."

"Unfortunately I don't-" Hiccup starts before he gets cut off by a slap on his shoulder.

"C'mon bro! I'm not some psychopath murderer or something." Acnologia states with a pure look on his face. "Trust me." He says as Hiccups face morphs to uncertainty. "Please." He says in complete seriousness, making Hiccup release a long sigh.

"Fine..." Hiccup says, still having a look of uncertainty on his face.

*Creak*

The door creaks as Hiccup opens the door to his house. Turning around, Hiccup looks at Acnologia and gestures him to step inside.

"Nice house." Acnologia states after walking in. "You live alone?" He asks, knowing he doesn't, but small things like these questions are what builds your personality inside someone's mind.

"No." a Gruff voice sounds from behind Acnologia. "He lives with me, his father." The voice says, making Acnologia turn around and come face to face with a huge man.

'Stoik.' Acnologia thinks, narrowing his eyes. 'He like a racist father. But instead of humans, he hates dragons, and forces his son to hate it aswell.' Leaving his thoughts, Acnologia steps forward and grips Stoik's outstretched hand, shaking it. "Acnologia." He says.

'Hmm?' Stoik's face shows mild surprise as he feels the young man's grip strength. "Stoik." He also introduces himself. 'Although his body mass is less than mine, he seems stronger than me...' Stoik muses and both the men leave the handshake. "Your strength is quite good. How many dragons you killed?" Stoik asks, while Acnologia raises an eyebrow.

"None." Acnologia states.

"Too bad." Stoik says. "If only you were in this village, you could've become a great Viking." He sighs after he finished.

Taking his que, Hiccup interrupts the conversation. "Actually, Dad." He starts. "That's what I was going to talk to you about." Hiccup reveals, receiving the attention of his father. "Acnologia doesn't have a place to stay at, so can he maybe stay here?" He asks.

"Here?" Stoik asks back. "As in here in this house?" Stoik looks between Hiccup and Acnologia.

"I would prefer it sir." Acnologia steps in. "I am 15 years at the moment, so it would be inappropriate to stay by myself." He explains, making Hiccup and Stoik's face shoot up in surprise.

"15?!" Hiccup cries out. "You look like you eat 15 year old kids for breakfast."

"Hehe." Acnologia awkwardly chuckles at Hiccup's bad joke. "I'm built different?"

"Hmm..." Stoik hums as he dives into thought. "You may." He declares. "But there are rules."

"I'm fine with rules, sir." Acnologia states in full seriousness.

"First rule." Stoik draws out. "Teach my son a trick or two." He says, making Hiccup's face fall. "Now before I say the last rule..." He says before putting one hand on Acnologia's shoulder. "Where are your parents son?" He asks as silence descends upon the three. Both Hiccup and Stoik looks carefully at Acnologia.

"Dead, sir." Acnologia declares without a change in his expression. 'I'm not gonna fake expressions on that... I respect my previous parents too much. Although they did die... One at the hands of the other, while the last by my hands.' He thinks, not realizing as a smirk appears on his face.

'What..?' Stoik thinks as he spots the smirk on Acnologia's face. 'Why would he make such a reaction at the mention of his deceased parents?'

"What happened to them?" Stoik asks, making Acnologia snap back to reality.

"I killed my father." Acnologia says, having no reason to hide it.

"Why?" Stoik asks, not judging Acnologia before he knows the full picture.

"Because he killed my mother."

"Second rule." Stoik says after listening to Acnologia's words. "Call me father from this point on." He states before removing his hand from the shocked Acnologia. "Tomorrow the training against dragons will start, you both will join." Stoik walks off after he said that.

"Hey, Hiccup." Acnologia calls out to Hiccup while staring at Stoik's retreating back.

"Huh?" Hiccup replies, also lost.

"He did hear me, right? The part where I killed my father and all."

"Yep."

"Oh."
