Outside the dormitory area was a vast square. Jiang Chen was lounging lazily and crossing his legs on a rattan chair that wasn’t supposed to be there, under the warm sun. That was a kind of enjoyment. Big Yellow who was next to him, glared angrily at him, but Jiang Chen just turned a blind eye to it.
The reason that Jiang Chen sat here was naturally because he was waiting for those furious outer sect disciples to come and look for him.
Not long after that, a large group of outer sect disciples emerged in sight, heading towards the direction of the empty square. There were at least a few hundred of them which proved that Skycloud Pavilion was worthy of being regarded as a major power in One-Line-Sky. The aura of these outer sect disciples alone was incomparable to any average group. Amongst them, there were at least five to six half-step Heaven Immortal experts and plenty of late Earth Immortal experts.
There were thousands of disciples in Skycloud Pavilion and this group of disciples was only a portion of the whole.
These angry outer sect disciples saw Jiang Chen at the first glance. Although they didn’t know who Jiang Chen was, they had heard the description of Jiang Chen’s appearance and the fact that he was accompanied by a dog – was the easiest way to identity Jiang Chen.
Very quickly, hundreds of outer sect disciples were only a few distance away from Jiang Chen. Behind them was another large group of disciples returning to the dormitory area. It seemed like Jiang Chen had already offended all of them.
“You are probably the first newbie who isn’t welcomed by the community in the history of Skycloud Pavilion.” Big Yellow said while shaking his tail.
“So what?”
Jiang Chen shrugged. His face didn’t show any sign of fear while facing the blazing eyes of the disciples.
“So you are that newcomer? The newcomer who hurt people in his first day.” A half-step Heaven Immortal genius said.
“They messed with me first. Naturally, I would need to teach them a lesson. I have used the truth to tell them that they wouldn’t end up well if they provoke me. Therefore, it’s best that you all stay away from me as well.”
Said Jiang Chen plainly. His body remained lounging casually on the chair.
F*ck! This bastard surely had too much arrogance. There were at least a few half-step Heaven Immortal experts on the scene. They were all the top geniuses in the outer sect. No one here had ever dared to disdain them, but this bastard didn’t even raise his head to look at them, as if they were invisible.
“Dammit! How did this bastard get into Skycloud Pavilion? Is his pair of eyes grown on top of his head? He’s way too arrogant.”
“Arrogance! I have never seen someone as arrogant as him. We have to teach him a good lesson today; this newbie shouldn’t act arrogantly, or else he will bear a consequence beyond his imagination.”
“Stop wasting your breath with him and finish him off.”
……….
A lot of disciples couldn’t stand it anymore. Some were grinding with their fists, preparing to beat this arrogant bastard up badly. Although this bastard was very powerful and could defeat roughly twenty outer disciples, there were a hundred of them here. Plus, there were six half-step Heaven Immortal experts amongst them and the talented Wang Tao. Everyone knew Wang Tao’s strength very well. Given the situation that no one here can fly, he had once defeated an early Heaven Immortal elder with his half-step Heaven Immortal realm.
“Are you the one who absorb all of the Immortal Qi in the Martial Palace?”
Wang Tao spoke. His aura was strong. It drifted in the air and pressed against Jiang Chen.
“Yes. My cultivation law is quite special. I have to absorb a great deal of Immortal Qi every time I cultivate.” Said Jiang Chen disapprovingly.

After listening to what he said, a lot of them were shocked. How could there be such a powerful cultivation method that could do this? It was impossible and Jiang Chen must be lying to them, but there was one thing that they were certain about, and that was the loss of the Immortal Qi in the Martial Palace was definitely related to Jiang Chen.
“I don’t care who you are and what kind of means you used to absorb all those Immortal Qi, brat! Your actions have disrupted the normal cultivation of the other disciples, therefore you have to pay a price for that,” Said Wang Tao.
“Price?”
Jiang Chen slowly stood up from the rattan chair and approached Wang Tao. His eyes squinted a little and spoke, “What price do you want?”
*Hiss!*
Wang Tao’s heart trembled. For inexplicable reason, he felt uneasy and his soul couldn’t help but shiver under the stare of Jiang Chen. His intuition told him that this young man in front wasn’t as simple as he looked, however, this wasn’t the time for him to shrink back. He had already stood up for his fellow disciples, as the saying goes, the arrow that was on the bow should never be put back into the quiver. If he chose to retreat at this moment, the other disciples would look down on him and he would lose all of his reputation in the outer sect.
“Humph! It’s very simple. You have injured so many of my fellow disciples. I want you to bear their medical cost. I want you to bear the loss of the Immortal Qi as well by apologizing to all of us here.”
Wang Tao harrumphed coldly. As far as he was concerned, such price was considered a very small one.
“It was a nice speech. Unfortunately, none of you have the power to tell me to do so. Here’s a piece of advice for you all. When any of you see me in the future, stay as far away from me as possible. Don’t try to mess with me. Also, from now on, all of the Immortal Qi in the Martial Palace belongs to me. You all have to go and search for other places for your own cultivation.”
Said Jiang Chen with such arrogance that it crossed their line of tolerance.
“Damn! This bastard is overly proud. The Martial Palace is a cultivation venue opened to all of us. How dare he seize it away from us? This is unacceptable!”
“Motherf*cker! Finish him off!”
…………
Many of them had lost their patience. Some of them had already unleashed their Immortal Qi in preparation to strike Jiang Chen.
“Courting death! Let me teach him a good lesson. I want to see what he has to be so arrogant.”
A half-step Heaven Immortal disciple standing next to Wang Tao was infuriated. He roared and sent out a punch with powerful Qi towards Jiang Chen.
*Pa!*
In the face of this man’s attack, Jiang Chen didn’t even look at it. He just sent a slap indifferently on the disciple’s face. The half-step Heaven Immortal expert uttered a miserable cry and was sent flying away by the slap, he then landed on the ground 30 meters away with a puff, spurting out blood with two broken teeth.
“What?”
Everyone, including Wang Tao was gaping at the scene in disbelief. The disciples who were only seconds away from lunging at Jiang Chen immediately withdraw their Qi due to shock.
How strong was this guy?
Everyone knew that attacker was a half-step Heaven Immortal expert, an outstanding genius in the outer sect and a genius of the geniuses. How could such a powerful figure couldn’t even stand a slap from a newbie? No one would ever believe this if they didn’t saw this with their own eyes. By now, they finally knew why those injured disciples looked so miserable back in the room.
