It was a cold morning, as usual. There were snow on the ground as far as the eyes could see. Wendy was having a hot chocolate at the table while watching the television. A teddy bear, his fur was as white as the snow, approaches the young woman.

"What dat?" he asked.

"It's called hot chocolate. Wanna have some?" Wendy offered.

''If me may."

Wendy picked up the teddy bear and placed him on a chair. She grabbed a mug and took hot chocolate from the dispenser. The young woman put the mug in front of the teddy bear. The white bear sniffed the brown liquid curiously. He drank the chocolate afterwards.

"Tasty! Tasty things should be in the fish party," the bear muttered.

"Fish party?"

"Fish party. Bears have fish party every night on Bear day."

"When's the Bear day?"

"Bear day is after Seal day."

"When is the Seal day?"

"Seal day is after Penguin day."

" ... What day is today?"

"Today is Bear day."

"You could have just said that ... "

"Said what?" the bear questioned.

"Never mind ... can I go to the fish party?"

"Of course. Everyone can go to the fish party. Everybody is allowed to have fun!" the bear spoke enthusiastically, smiling and squinting his eyes. He made a joyful gesture.

"So where is it?"

"You stay here after the sun sets. I will show you the place." The white teddy bear went away.

Wendy was left alone with her warm chocolate and television. After the bear had gone from her sight, she contemplated.

She remembered that afternoon when she had ran away from her friends in the blizzard.

"Wendy, wait! It's not what it looks like!" Teal had shouted. "We were worried about you, so we tried to find out how to help you by talking about what you lack!"

"I didn't know that's what backstabbing means! I don't need people who only pretend to like me!" Wendy had replied. She had ran further from them, until she had seen a white vortex. The white vortex had pulled her into itself. It had brought her here, with a television, a bed, a kitchen set and some other stuff. A crocodile who had brought free food had been visiting her everyday.

Oh right, would the crocodile come today as well? She waited for him. A few moments later, she heard some footsteps.

"Today's meal is chicken noodle curry," the crocodile said.

"Thanks." Wendy took the lunch box from the reptile. "Can I ask something?"

"Sure. Ask me anything."

"Are you bringing these to the bears too?"

"Yeah. I bring food to everyone."

"But ... why?"

"Well, people take care of each other here. Isn't it like that in where you came from?"

"In my world, sometimes you buy items you want with money."

"Money? Buy? I've never heard of those."

"You work to earn money. Like how you bring food to everyone. Then you can trade money with a thing someone have. And that someone can trade that money you gave them with the thing someone else have," Wendy explained.

"Sounds like a hassle to me. Why don't everyone just share their stuff with everyone?" The crocodile seemed puzzled.

"That's--"

"Anyway, you haven't been coming to the fish party. I forgot that you're from another world and might not have this tradition. Here's a map that shows where the party is held." The crocodile handed over the map. It showed a drawing of Wendy's 'home'. Somewhere on the east side of her home there was an edge of the land, where she could see the ocean. There's a writing that said 'The Fish Party'.

It was the evening. The sky was illuminated by the stars and the full moon. Wendy walked alongside the white-furred bear slowly, enjoying the scene around her. There were torches and benches that had been decorated with sea shells. Many white teddy bears that looked like the teddy bear that visited Wendy were gathering at the place and chatting. The air was cold, however the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Some of the bears were playing snowball fight. The young woman could hear jokes and laughter.

"Where are the fishes?" Wendy asked.

"They're in the sea," the bear replied bluntly.

"I thought we're going to eat them?"

"Eat the fishes? No, no, no. The fishes will dance for us!" The bear shook his head. He pulled Wendy's hand and took her to the edge of the frozen land. "Look."

Numerous fishes were jumping from the water. They bent their wide fins and spun gracefully in the air. Their scales were sparkling the lights given by the moon. At the moment, time felt like it stopped and they were floating above the sea. Before long, the fishes dove into the water. The fishes hopped out again, showing off their elegance. Then Wendy knew why the bear had said that the fishes would dance. They moved out and in of the sea, following a certain rhythm.

"It's beautiful," Wendy said, sincerely.

"What's beautiful?" asked the white teddy bear.

"It's like ... those fishes," the young woman said. "And the stars, and the moon."

"You're beautiful too."

"I haven't heard that for forever."
