Lord Jezebel sat in her room, depressed. The first time she actually liked a man, he scolded her for being too childish.
“Lord Jezebel, it’s time to come out of your room.” Captain Zamani knocked on her door. He had created this monster by teaching her Shade magic all those years ago, and while he had had his fun with her, Zamani knew Theseus was right. It was time for them to grow up.
“Go away!” Lord Jezebel put her pillow over her head and cried harder.
Zamani felt responsible. He had taken advantage of this peasant girl, and Ahab had commended him for finding her. Zamani felt a sick power fantasy from using Jezebel in the past, but he grew scared of her when she actually killed Lord Ahab. In the end though, Jezebel never really grew up, and neither did he.
Opening the door, Zamani walked up to Jezebel.
“What did I say? Go away!” Lord Jezebel flashed her aura menacingly. This time though, Zamani did not back down.
“Lord Jezebel, Lord Theseus was right. I think it’s time for the both of us to grow up. Let’s do what he says. Maybe he’ll even change his mind and marry you one day. We’ve lived like spoiled children with too much power for too long. Come on, it’s time to get out of bed.” Zamani smiled for the first time in years and offered her his hand.
Seeing his smile, Lord Jezebel pondered Lord Theseus’s lecture. Jezebel wondered if she had ever seen Zamani smile; it was a nice smile.
“Giving to your people, instead of taking from them…” She muttered out loud to Zamani, pondering his words carefully.

“Lord Theseus, I didn’t think you had it in you!” Elder Gerald complimented.
“After whatever you said during that meeting, you changed the political landscape of the Oceanic Realm!” Gemini said while he and Leo jumped up and down around the embarrassed Theseus.
“Have you ever heard of someone scaring a Suzerain Lord into hiding with just their words?” Gemini said, worshipping Theseus. Lord Jezebel was a Suzerain Lord, but Theseus beat her without any skills. Was this truly the power of Oceanus?
“Sometimes, words are better than aura.” Theseus smiled, but his face went red. He hadn’t expected the meeting with the first Suzerain Lord he met, besides Lord Virgo, to go like that. After being treated like how the Goddess Aurora treated him years ago, a switch flickered in his mind, and a part of himself he didn’t think he had, had come out.
Gemini wrote down Theseus’s platitude.
“I see, words can transcend Aura Realms, incredible.” Gemini muttered. The kid wasn’t wrong, but was he even a kid anymore? He was now eighteen years old as far as Theseus could tell.
“Gemini, I want to have a sparring match with you and Leo.” Theseus said casually.
“What?” Leo and Gemini said at the same time.
“If what you two are saying is correct, we are in a huge breach of the Suzerain Treaty. If nobody attacks Jezebel before the Defensive Pact is signed, someone will come for or threaten us.” Theseus smiled, but underneath, his battle prone nature was erupting. For months, he was developing his new summoner skill, and it was time to unveil the fruits of his labor to Leo, whom he kept it secret from.
“Are you sure Lord Theseus? Gemini is still young.” Elder Gerald spoke up for the quivering young man, who could barely speak. As far as the two were concerned, Theseus was still as strong as Aries.
“Yes, don’t worry, Leo will be on Gemini’s team.” Theseus grinned, confusing Leo further.
“Ah, your skill must be done.” Leo remarked in their Soul Link.
“Yes.” Theseus thought to Leo with an evil smirk.
Going out in the countryside, Theseus arrived to one of his training sites. It was a barren valley miles into the borderlands where no one lived.
“Both of you, come at me together.” Theseus put his arms outstretched and taunted the two. Leo was worried he would hurt Theseus, but Theseus assured Leo he could handle it.
“Skill: Whirling Claws!” Leo made the first move.
“Skill: Oceanus Founder. Skill: Ghostly Projection.” Theseus retaliated while Gemini watched, starstruck.
Becoming two from one, Theseus used Aries’s cloning skill, the same one he used against Ouzo in the self-soul hypnosis.
“What in the world?” Leo wasn’t sure which Theseus to attack and ended up missing his ability.
“Skill: Water Prison!” One of the Theseus’s used one of the Captain’s water-based abilities. A water barrier formed around Leo.
“Skill: Tail Swipe!” Leo used another one of his skills and shattered the water prison.
“Skill: Holy Light!” The Theseus on the right sent a blast of light at Leo, sending him backwards.
“That skill, that’s Lord Virgo’s!” Leo and Gemini exclaimed together. The two Theseus’s merged back into one, and Theseus skipped around happily. If this were a real battle, he would have actually beaten Leo!
“How did you do that?” Leo and Gemini both separately asked.
“My new summoner skill lets me use the skills of anyone in Oceanus because I am its Lord.” Theseus boasted.
“That skill is overpowered!” Leo complained, mad at his defeat.
“Don’t worry; it only works on people who are my direct subordinates that I have authority over and not random civilians.” Theseus explained.

“But, but you just used Lord Virgo’s skill?” Gemini asked.
Theseus pulled out the Virgo Shade Core.
“He is a permanent political prisoner of Oceanus, is he not?” Theseus looked smug.
“He found a loophole in his own skill, treating Virgo as his subordinate and slave?” Leo and Gemini were shocked.
“Oceanus Founder allows me to siphon off a small portion of aura from others and store it within each of my subordinates, labeling them as Oceanus members for the skill. When they’re imprinted as my Oceanus subordinates, the skill uses them as a conduit to strengthen my own aura, like a satellite or energy conductor.” Theseus tried to explain, but they didn’t really get it.
“Am I imprinted on your skill?” Leo asked.
“No, I wasn’t sure if you wanted to be.” Theseus responded.
“Yes!” Leo jumped up and down. He wanted to be an official member of Oceanus too!
“Skill: Oceanus Founder Imprint.” Theseus thought in his head. Then, his eyebrows furrowed. Theseus tried to use his skill but couldn’t.
“Unfortunately, I can’t because of our Soul Link, actually.” Theseus scratched his head, not comprehending the complexity of the skill he imposed on himself and Leo when they were in the original cabin. Soul Link bound the two of their souls together, so it appeared like there was some sort of conflict between the skills. This was the danger of creating complex skills; they sometimes had unintended consequences.
“Wow really? But I can still be in Oceanus, right?” Leo asked with puppy dog eyes.
“Of course buddy.” Theseus smiled and pat Leo on the head.
“I never did get to see you attack Gemini. You can come at me; I won’t be hurt.” Theseus stood back and got into a ready stance.
“Ok-okay. Here I come! Skill: Spirit Rush!” Gemini moved at extreme speeds and punched out at Theseus, who stopped the extraordinary skill with one hand.
“Wow! Congratulations Gemini. The Spirit Cultivation is working. You’re at the A Rank Mortal Realm. It only took about two years. This is quite the accomplishment.” Theseus shook Gemini’s hand. Gemini still felt weak, but he knew Theseus was right.
Reality hit Theseus upon hearing himself say two years. Has it really been four years since he entered Hell? That wasn’t even including the Self-Soul Hypnosis.
The first year, he struggled for survival. The second year, he lived with Leo in their old cabin, and the past two years, they saved the Oceanus Village, which was now the Oceanus Territory.
“Time flies by when you’re having fun.” Theseus inwardly sighed. Just two years ago, Theseus was afraid to leave the cabin, but now, he was a Suzerain Lord! How did that happen?
“Leo, do you think we’re closer to living in the perfect home?” Theseus asked Leo out of the blue.
“Once the other Suzerain Lords aren’t a threat anymore, we will have nothing to worry about, right?” Leo tried to stay positive. Oceanus was great, but the other Suzerain Lords scared him.
“Just how strong is your new skill Theseus?” Gemini asked, unaware of the silent conversation between Leo and Theseus.
“I’m at the F Rank Royalty Realm now. This skill is slightly… overpowered. As long my subordinates are loyal followers of Oceanus, I can use their skills and gain the knowledge of how to use them. But, let’s say Aries left us and joined Lord Jezebel, then I could no longer use his skills. Also, I can’t use his Shade skills, since I am not a Shade.” Theseus tried to explain so Leo and Gemini could understand better. This skill took almost one year to perfect, and there were many stipulations imposed on it.
“And you gain aura capacity through your followers?” Gemini was furiously writing down the details of Oceanus Founder to understand how it worked.
“In short, yes.” Theseus knew there was more to it than that, but months of complex set up led to an overly complicated skill that was genuinely overpowered. As Oceanus grew, so did his foundation. The huge drawback was that if Oceanus was destroyed by someone like Lord Darkin, he would go back down to the C Rank Sage Realm. He was tied in aura, heart, and soul to Oceanus’s survival and prosperity.
He got the idea from historical generals using similar skills in the past. By borrowing their subordinate’s skills and aura, they could buff their armies along with their own skills. He just had to modify a certain skill to his current situation. In the beginning, the original skill’s name was, General’s Gluttony.
It was a weird name, but after hearing that he was supposed to be the representation of gluttony as a Suzerain Lord, it strangely fit. He had to change the name to Oceanus Founder, however. The name, General’s Gluttony, didn’t really match his ideals. How could he lecture the lustful Jezebel and then turn around and use a skill with the word gluttony in it!
“Alright you two, let’s head back. The other Lords’ envoys heard about Jezebel and want to chat with me. I wonder if any crazy Lords like Jezebel will show up…” Theseus told Leo and Gemini.
“You head on out; I need to write all these things down while it’s still fresh.” Gemini sat down and wrote down everything he could remember about Theseus’s fight with Leo.
As Leo and Theseus walked back, Leo was proud of Theseus.
“I didn’t think you’d actually be able to catch up to me, much less surpass me.” Leo said, about to cry tears of joy.
“How can I protect the friend I swore to repay after saving my life if I’m weaker than them?” Theseus told Leo.
“You repaid me long ago, when you told me your stories and taught me how to act like an adult. You taught me about the real world, how to cook, how to use aura correctly, and all about skills and also which ones fit my leopard physique.” Leo said earnestly.
“I won’t rest until we have the perfect home, not just for us, but for all of our friends.” Theseus bragged.
“I know you won’t, but just know that to me, this is already more than enough.”
Leo started to run ahead of Theseus into the distance joyfully. Theseus ran to catch up.
“Wait up Leo!”
