the mighty Asura Kalanemi's knees shook and he crashed on the ground while looking at his elder brother.
He was a child spawned from the dead body of the former Asura king Hiranyaksha and he doesn't know if Andhaka will accept him or not but he certainly hoped that he chooses the former as he had inherited their dead father's love for his previously dead big brother and now when he saw he him alive he was very - very happy.
[ Big brother is like a dad in Hindu myth and the little brother obeys like him a good little brother so don't be surprised. ]
Prahlada looked at his cousin who was also staring at him with fierce eyes and a smile bloomed upon his face.
Prahlada was a saint-like person and of course, was very happy upon seeing his elder cousin's brother and didn't have any problems in suddenly accepting some stranger as his elder cousin brother as he believed in what Guru ShukraCharya told and he himself had got some kind of a gut feeling about it.
Andhaka looked at Prahlada with a little surprise as he didn't expect the former Asura king to look so peaceful and un-Asura like.
Prahlada was like himself in appearance and it made Andhaka quite curious about his cousin.
Andhaka looked at the other powerful Asuras and he sighed in his mind as he can now be assured that Patala Loka had a good future ahead of him as they were quite a good bunch of strong demons.
" Big brother Andhaka, " A fierce-looking demon jumped towards Andhaka swiftly and hugged him which caused the nearby demons to look at him in surprise as the demon who was hugging him was the Fierce Danava king Svarbhanu, who is famous in the three worlds for his cruel and fearsome nature so to see him act like a happy child was very shocking for all the Asuras present there.
Andhaka just looked at his little cousin who was now bigger than him physically and a look of melancholy flashed through his eyes.
The last time he saw Svarbhanu was thousands of years ago and at that time he was a cute and angry looking child who just waved his hand here and there while shouting about how bad and evil he was gonna be in future.
Now Svarbhanu looked a lot like his deceased father Viprachitti, he had dark red skin, four arms and a large moustache while black coloured horns protruded put off his head.
His total height went over him and in total, he looked quite a fierce Asura but whatever the case may be to Andhaka he was still his little brother as long as svarbhanu didn't have any problem with it and from what it seems he really didn't have any problem in it.
" Heh, you are still the same you snotty villain " Andhaka patted him with an awkward face as at first he wanted to rub his head like he used to do in their childhood but he couldn't reach Svarbhanu's head so head to settle with his back only.
After Svarbhanu moved away Andhaka looked at Prahlada.
" Prahlada I shall now challenge you for the throne of the Asura king. " Andhaksura shouted to his cousin Prahlada who stood in front of him.
Prahlada looked at the angry face of his cousin and sighed in distress and didn't know what to do anymore to calm down the situation.
Amdhaka was also quite angry when he came to know that both the current and the former Asura kings were great devotees of Vishnu he erupted in anger towards Prahlada and as for why not Virochana? Because he just inherited his father's mistake so all the blame should be given to the Prahlada And to him, Virochana was a kid as he was the son of his little cousin's brother. So that is why he directly challenged Prahlada for the throne and not the current king Virochana as he didn't acknowledge him as the king.
And once he defeats him he can also check his mind to see if Vishnu had him roped in any kind of Maya and from what he heard from his teacher it looked like Prahlada was brainswashed even before he was born and it once again caused Andhaka's anger Towards Vishnu to flare up.
( Illusions but very advanced type. You can say it's like a power like holy or demonic energy but only causes illusions. )
Virochana who was originally happy for his uncle's return was now a little irked as He was being treated as some negligible being who didn't have any weight and was easy to be pushed around.
He accepts that for Andhaka he was akin to a child but he was The Asura king and also a very powerful Asura and being treated like a child wasn't any of his hobbies and his uncle even slandered their supreme God Vishnu and this was the final straw for him as he was also a great devotee of Vishnu like his father but didn't have the great peace and patience of his father.
Virochana stepped forward and stood in between of his uncle and his father while looking at his uncle with an angry look.
" Uncle if you want to challenge father then you will have to defeat me first. " Virochana's words made the expressions of the Asuras present become displeased as they were bored of the peaceful life they were currently living in and wanted to take revenge upon the gods for the crimes and underhanded tricks they used against them at different occasions but the duo of father and son were too peaceful and didn't want any kind of war with anybody to be it Humans, Devas or other races.
And on top of that Prahlada was also the main reason for the death of one of the previous Asura kings and his father, Hiranyakshipu and thus also marking the end of the golden age of Asuras.
After that, they lost control over the three worlds due to the patient and peaceful personality of Prahlada who let the devas trick them him so easily and didn't even retaliate in Any manner.

all and all, for the majority of the Asuras the rule of Prahlada was a deep spot of shame in the history of the Asura race as he was transforming them, the great Asura race who was a fierce warrior race into a peaceful civilisation who adhered to rules and regulations and was always on the non-aggressive side.
It may be good for them in a long run but they can't take it. They can't take any more insults from the devas and didn't want to be in peace with them after they stole the control of the three realms from them and then made them retreat back to the Patala Loka.
So nearly all the Asuras supported Andhaka but not all voiced their opinion opinions publicly as they were familiar with how powerful Prahlada really was but not with Andhaksura.
Svarbhanu and Kalanemi were extremely vocal about their support to Andhaka and even if Andhaka lost which they firmly believed he won't they can just simply ask Prahlada for forgiveness and considering his nature he will most likely forgive them.
Andhaka looked at Virochana and controlled his anger as He was his nephew and Andhaka didn't want to injure or kill him so he ignored Virochana and looked at Prahlada fiercely.
Prahlada looked at the scene with worry and turned his gaze towards Shukra and hoped that his teacher can find some way out of this situation.
Feeling The eyes of other Asuras also turn towards himself Shukra stepped forward and came in between of his students.
" You both are my students and I cannot dictate your life as you both have your goals which you aspire to reach so I have a condition through which all this problem can be solved but I should ask you both will you agree? "
" Yes," Andhaka spoke immediately as he believed in his teacher.
" Yes," Prahlada also nodded as he also had believed in Shukra.
Shukra smiled upon seeing how much his students believed him and shouted in a clear voice.
" Since you both are of the Asura race then I suggest you do an all-out contest of war. Whoever wins will become the king and the loser will have to accept a single wish of the winner. Be it anything like 'not wanting a war' or 'participating in the war' etc. "
Shukra's words appeared to be sound logical and agreeable but there was also a big risk in this condition and that was the wish part.
For both Andhaka and Prahlada, it was quite a dangerous gamble as if Andhaka lost he would have to accept peace and if Prahlada lost he may have to assist his cousin in the war.
" I agree. now the question is does my cousin thinks that this condition set by the Teacher is not fair? " Andhaka directly linked the condition with his teacher's judgement and it left no other way for Prahlada other than just accepting it.
" I also agree. " Prahlada spoke with a smile on his face.
He was a saint-like person in nature but it was not that he was an idiot and he was very well aware of how powerful he was and he had full confidence in his strength as he had been blessed by Vishnu and had the strength on par with Indra the leader of Gods.
so now since Violence was the only way he can only end this chapter by defeating his cousin.
Shukra looked at the calm smile on Prahlada's face and a simple appeared on his face.
" Prahlada before the fight starts let me tell you that your cousin has very insanely high mastery over the concept of darkness, his mastery of darkness even went on par with Indra on lightening so don't say it later that I didn't warn you. " Shukra's words made all the Asuras leave their jaws hanging open as they didn't know Andhaka would have become so powerful and will master the concept of darkness to such a high degree.
The calm smile on Prahlada's face vanished and he looked at his cousin seriously.
He doesn't think that Shukracharya was bluffing so since his cousin was supposedly so powerful he should also fight seriously.
" You both will not be fighting here or it would cause the destruction of the patala loka. So let's go to the battlefield where you will be fighting. "
