Chapter 30: Vajranka

hahaha it seems you really are as good as they say Uncle Vajranka, you know I had expected you to find Mahishasura but for you to find me, I have to say this king is impressed. " Andhaka and Mahishasura came out from their hiding place while having friendly and affectionate smiles on their face. 

" Who are you? from what I remember the King of Asuras was Prahlada. so why did they change it to another white face? " Vajranka spoke in quite some disrespectful tone. 

" Uncle Vajranka let me give you my introduction before we start talking. I am Andhakasura, the son of the first Asura King Hiranyaksha, which was killed thousands of years ago, but in fact, I was in some strange place and had to make my way out after going through some hardships. So from the logical point of view, you who were born later than me should be my Uncle. So this nephew greets Uncle Vajranka. " Andhaka spoke with a smile but didn't forget to mention that he was older than Vajranka in age and he wasn't even born when he was supposedly killed. 

" Hmm, after listening to you I can more or less get what is your reason for coming here but you should know I was birthed by your GRANDMOTHER ( Diti ) to avenge the death of her children, and my elder brothers and sisters which would-be father, uncle and aunt for you. So I went on to Attack the Svarga and nearly killed Indra but then left him due to Brahma's intervention, and I was only doing that since it was my mother who told me to do that as I have no personal interest in fighting against the devas. " A look of displeasure flashed into Andhaka's eyes. 

" You do realise that you are an Asura, do you? You who were born with Skin equal to that of Vajra should remember how you got it. It was your mother's pain and hardships, that you were born with such amazing fighting capabilities but now you just want to waste after being told to make peace by a god who appears to save Indra but not us Asuras. " 

" Don't, Don't try all these emotional drama things as It won't work on me. " Vajranka spoke without an inch of emotion on his face. 

" Well then let me get to the dangerous part. You who have met and fought Indra personally should know how he really is, don't you? And this small and innocent child who is currently playing there so carelessly," Andhaka spoke while pointing his hand towards the child who was playing with birds. 

" Do you think he will be treated equally even if he becomes all nice and follows all the rules? do you think Indra would miss the chance to kill him? Or do you want him to be a man with no future and just live his life like a bug and die without no one knowing who he was? do you yourself want to die like this? living here in the jungle like an uncivil-- " Andhaka jumped back quickly and dodged the punch coming towards him. 

" Nothing will happen by trying to quieten me down as what I tell is the truth. " Andhaka spoke with more energy while sitting on the branch of the tree just above the small child and looked at the place where he previously stood with some fear. 

There was no change in the surroundings due to the punch thrown at him, yes you heard it right. 

There was no land blowing away and cyclone brewing or some earth-shaking vibration or the nearby ocean being obliterated , there was nothing like that. Even the fallen leaves on the ground didnt budge an single inch from their respective places. 

To a normal person, this was just a normal punch but Andhaka being the one who faced it knows that if he got hit by that thing, then it's definitely gonna be a problem. 

' This, this is the proof of your monstrous abilities and now I want you to submit to me more and more ' Andhaka thought while looking at Vajranka. 

All of the power of the previous punch was concentrated in just one point and he had full control over when to release that power. It can be said that the title of the Physical fighting god of Martial God or probably the Muscle God would certainly be perfect for him. 

A group of dark snake-like tentacles crawled from Mahisha down to the tree and started to move toward the child and stopped after a distance of a metre from the child. 

" Mahisha retrieve them. I don't fear him and nor do we need to take the child as a hostage but still thank you. " Andhaka didn't get angry after seeing that Mahishasura was quietly going to take the child hostage as he only did it to maintain his King's safety and that is not something for which he can scold Mahisha. 

" Now let's go. but do you wanna fight here? You know my blows aren't as precise and perfect as you. " Andhaka spoke while jumping down from the tree and starting to release his own powers so that Vajranka doesn't assume him to be some small fry who can be handled just like that. 

" Go away I don't wanna take part in your plans. " Vajranka spoke without aggression. He doesn't want to fight, all he wants is just a quiet life as for before, he just got a little angry as nobody has talked to him like that in his whole life.

" Why? don't you have any anger against the Devas? how can you act so calmly " Andhaka spoke with an angry face. 

He wanted Vajranka who was a High-level God to return where his roots were but since the other party doesn't want to go, he can't force it and that is why he was so angry right now as he didn't want things to go like this. 

" I have already done what my mother has asked me to hundreds of years ago and now I have no interest in any kind of Deva - Asura war, and I won't be able to invite you for food as the small hut of this old man isn't fit for the Great Asura King to sit down. So I will request you to depart immediately. " 

'What to do? what can I do in this situation? ' Andhaka was quickly racking his brain to find some solution. 

" Haa, ok then " Andhaka spoke with a sigh. 

" But I have some other small request I would like to make to you. " Andhaka thought with a firm pair of eyes. 

" Tell me, I will think after listening to it. " Vajranka didn't deny this time, well what is the problem in hearing what Andhaka has to say? 

If it was something he doesn't want to do, then he certainly won't do it. 

" Seeing that you are so talented in battle, I naturally planned to recruit you at first but now after seeing that you don't have any interest in how your own kind does, so I concluded that, since I can't have you help me directly then let it be..... indirectly. I want you to teach some Asuras which I will be sending you, how to fight... I mean train them to make their bodies stronger. I hope you can at least do that much..... and in return, I will protect your family whenever you are absent or if something happens to you then you can even have an estate in Rasatala so that if any of your future children or descendants are in danger by the Devas they can go and live in Rasatala. " Andhaka spoke while maintaining a defeated expression on his face. 

" Logically this isn't much bad but he would have liked more if it went the other way. Ok but I also have an additional request. I would like Guru Shukra to accept my son as his own student. I am a father and I naturally want the best for my child and I can't control how he wants to live and I believe Guru Shukra will treat him fairly. " Andhaka became a little happy after listening to Vajranka's words. His attitude had softened quite a bit from before and it all goes like this then he can once again try to take him in completely, but unfortunately, that time is not now. 

" I would have liked to say ' Yes ' but I can't make that decision and it's only up to Teacher to choose whether he wants to accept your son as a student or not. " Andhaka spoke while looking at Tarakasura. 

He feels like he has listened to this name in his past life and this is good enough as since he has heard it then must have been a powerful Guy.

" Then since all your work here is done. There is the door and oh, I forgot you will be going to Patala, so What are you waiting for, Go just disappear like you did when appearing here. " Vajranka spoke in a not-so-polite tone without giving any face to Andhaka. 

" Mahisha let's go. We still need him. " Mahisha didn't understand to whom his king was telling this as it looked like Andhaka was consoling himself and controlling his anger. 

A teleportation circle appeared under their feet and soon they both vanished.
