"What are these?"
Luke asked as he held a box made of wood, by the feeling he got and the spells he felt inside, he could make an educated guess.
"These are Evil pieces. This means that you can make your own peerage and that means you can have a big Harem if you wish!"
... Oh hell no.
One of his early teammates had a harem... He was found dead in bed with three girls killed and one girl that killed herself after killing the others.
He was not stepping on that minefield, thank you very much.
"Why would I want a harem... When the only one I want is you?"
Serafall turned into a shade of red that was still unidentified in 2008, but he was sure humanity could figure it out in a few years. Despite that, she smiled.
"...Really?"
He smiled and leaned in closer, right in front of her face.
"No."
She dropped her head and released a sigh that was very out of character for her, he expected that it would be more dramatic.
"You can't play with a girl's heart like that, you know."
Awh, she was pouting.
Putting a hand on the girl's head, he ruffled her hair and brought up his free hand, and magic circles formed rapidly on top of his palm.
A few seconds later, under the watchful eyes of Serafall, a chess piece formed, it was a queen piece, shining in every color known and exuding considerable Mana.
The leviathan stared wide-eyed at it, then at him, and then at the queen piece again.
"I got to ask now, how do you do the things you do?"
Well, it would come out soon anyway, and if she accepted the offer, there would be a good ending if not, he would have to erase her memories of this.
____
She ended up accepting, though, he had no idea why she was blushing when he offered her a position as his "queen".
He owed her. If she didn't reincarnate this body, he might have skipped this world altogether. There was no magical healing and body revival when he reincarnated, it was either being thrown into his old, untrained body when he was summoned or born again.
If he could make her stronger then it would be easy.
Just turn her into a demon and teach her some spells.
"So... You're, like... Really old, right?"
And now, he had to deal with this.
"Yes, concentrate on the spell, demonic spells tend to get out of control."
She huffed and looked back at the magic circle in front of her, her hands were extended forward as she continued finishing the spell.
"So... I don't have to worry about your fight, right?"

He hummed an affirmative and pointed at a part of the circle that was slightly off.
"I have slain countless gods and this world isn't even that high up the scale, if I wanted, I could just go travel dimensions for fun."
She turned to him with an excited look, as if she just got her favorite candy.
"Can you take me?"
He denied it instantly, getting a pout for it but he didn't care, he wasn't leaving this world, he was on vacation.
"Why does a hero know demonic spells anyway?"
Luke shot her a curious look, sure, he has only visited one other pantheon but demonic weapons should still be powerful, shouldn't they?
"If I don't have to be a human to save the world I'd rather be a demon, stronger bodies with faster development, you will also grow a few inches soon, your mana capacity will grow, and your physical ability will skyrocket... And besides, the only counter to something demonic is something holy, and I already know a way around that."
She seemed thoughtful for a while before she dropped her hands, dissolving the magic circle, and pointed at him accusingly.
"That's how you can read that book and drink that water, isn't it?"
He smirked, giving her an amused look. Did she take that long to connect the dots?
"Yeah, and you can do it too, I did include the protection from Holy abilities, so those light spears and everything else won't hurt you anymore."
She blinked, tilting her head in an adorable way that he had no problem admitting he found attractive.
"How does that work?"
With just a thought, a magic circle materialized in front of him, and a wave of the hand later, it split into three parts. Pointing at each of them as he explained.
"This one dissolves Holy power whenever it comes in contact with you, this one turns that holy power and turns it into Demonic one, and the last one synchronizes it with yours and fuels your reserves."
She paid wrapped attention while he was explaining, her eyes growing wider as it all sunk in.
He could practically see the gears turning in her head.
"... Isn't that... Completely overpowered?"
He shrugged, it wasn't always like this, he added the last two abilities between reincarnations. Turning holy power into demonic wasn't easy but when he figured it out, he could do it at the drop of the hat. Of course, turning demonic power into holy power was easy to figure out after that.
Maybe it took about twenty or twenty-four reincarnations.
"Meh, imagine the reactions I got when I started using it, there was no time for them to develop a counter to it since, you know, I was still alive and I don't tend to leave things half dead."
She hummed, still looking at the magic circles with interest, before giving up and sighing, she wouldn't understand, devils may have had an instant translation but if they didn't know a language they couldn't read it.
"Alright, I probably have mountains of paperwork stacking up in the office, I have spent a lot of time away from it, already-"
Chuckling he went to go to his room as well.
"- See you later, Husband."
....Hold the fuck up!
