Amidst the cosmic clash on the moon, the pirate ship descended onto Britannia island, targeting the mysterious Fey Forest. However, a strange mist cloaked the forest, causing disturbances in their radar system. This heightened the paranoia of the already anxious captain, diverting the ship toward the nearest Roman outpost located outside the mystical woods.
The sudden arrival of the pirates stunned the combined forces of New Britannia and Romans. A horrifying spectacle unfolded as dozens of individuals emerged from massive metallic birds, some of them bearing non-human appearances. The Romans, bewildered and alarmed, quickly activated a signal fire and dispatched a message bird, while a courageous Roman captain stepped forward to address the peculiar visitor.
"Quis es, quid vis?" he demanded, his voice unwavering despite the tension.
The blue-skinned pirate, a half moon magus, turned to the tattoo-faced captain, dismissing the language as primitive. Another pirate, with shark-like teeth, commented, "Captain Tui, these people look delicious, may I…"
Captain Tui heaved a deep sigh, cutting him off. "We have no time for games," he declared, pointing at the Roman captain. "He seems to be in charge; he can be our guide. Kill the rest."
"Aye aye, captain,"
As the pirates advanced, the Romans quickly unleashed a barrage of arrows, but to their dismay, the projectiles only managed to graze the magus and saints. Within moments, after securing the roman captain, the remaining Roman soldiers faced a swift and brutal massacre.
"Let's go inside!" ordered Captain Tui, leading his six magus and twenty saints into the mist-shrouded Fey Forest.
Along the way, the blue-skinned pirate, skilled in spirit reading, extracted information from the captive Roman and relayed the details to their captain. The gathered intel included the existence of a village within the forest and rumors of a revered Tree of Life located at their shrine.
"This must be where the wisp lies," the captain declared with excitement, anticipating the fulfillment of their objective within the heart of the mystical woodland.
As they reached their supposed destination, the blue-skinned magus abruptly stopped. "Captain… it's supposed to be here," he said, realization dawning on him. "Captain, they used a formation to confuse us."
"What kind of formation? Can you break it?".
"It's a nature type… just middle-grade, but it will take time to break," explained the blue-skinned magus.
"Our chieftain can't wait... Let's burn the whole forest!" declared the captain, a decision met with enthusiastic nods from the pirates. With a series of simple yet powerful spells, they unleashed torrents of fire, transforming the once serene forest into a blazing inferno.
As the conflagration roared, devouring everything in its path, the pirates sensed the movement of shadows within the flames. The anticipated magus, finally made his appearance. "That's must be the magus!!"
The captain swiftly divided his forces, instructing them to hunt down the elusive half-moon magus in separate groups. Each group, led by a half moon magus and accompanied by five saints. Meanwhile, the captain and his remaining magus formed a separate unit, poised to confront any discovered threats head-on.
"Search properly, call out as soon as you see him!" the captain barked out orders to his divided crew. Yet, mere moments after the groups embarked on their mission, a harrowing scream pierced the air. The captain wasted no time, urgently directing the rest of the pirates toward the distressing sound.
The gruesome sight awaited them—a scorched and lifeless corpse, once part of the searching party. One of the pirates, recognizable by his distinct set of sharp teeth, lay slain. The surviving pirates couldn't comprehend the swiftness of the attack.

"That brother shark, he was killed in seconds!! Who are we fighting with!?" one of them exclaimed, shock and confusion etched across their faces.
As the pirates surveyed the aftermath, they noticed an anomaly amidst the chaos—the flames hadn't devoured the trees to ashes, and the fire seemed contained within a one-
mile radius, defying the destructive nature they expected.
Panic rippled through the pirate ranks, exacerbated by the ominous laughter of the captured Roman. "maga adest, omnes peribitis…!!"
His cryptic words, were quickly translated by another pirate.
"He said… the witch is here, she will kill us all..."
As the realization of their peril sunk in, the flames surrounding them intensified, becoming searingly hot. The once-dancing fire now transformed into a malevolent force, pulling in the saints among the pirates one by one, devouring them in its fiery embrace.
"We are fighting with one powerful flame magus!! Put out the fire!!!" shouted the captain, desperation evident in his voice. The pirates hurriedly invoked water and ice spells, desperately attempting to douse the flames. While the magical efforts seemed to quell the physical fire, the dark smoke persisted, shrouding the surroundings.
In the unsettling silence that followed, the captain angrily shouted, "Who the hell are you?!"
The captain's desperate demand for answers echoed through the fey forest. No response came—only the continued screams of his men being taken by an unseen force into the smoke. Even one of the lower-level magus found themselves drawn into the shadows, taken without a sound.
With only a handful of magus and saints left, fear gripped the tattoo-faced captain. In a desperate attempt to regain control, he seized the Roman soldier, placing a knife against his neck. The captain bellowed a threat, "Come out now! Show yourself, or I kill this man!"
It was a desperate attempt cause he knew, that no magus would likely emerge for such a seemingly insignificant soldier. To his surprise, a sudden movement within the shadows hinted at an unexpected turn of events.
A figure emerged—a mesmerizing woman with crimson hair, bathed in an ethereal flame. Her mere presence exuded an intimidation that sent shivers through the remaining pirates. Undeterred, the tattoo-faced captain attempted bravado, sneering, "Huh! A halfmoon magus woman! Without your puny tricks, you alone will die against us."
However, the female magus remained calm, delivering a cryptic statement, "I am not here alone."
In a sudden twist, the tree behind the skipper came to life. Its branches, previously seemingly ordinary, revealed their strength as they coiled around him, preventing the execution of the Roman soldier. Simultaneously, the forest ground quivered as stone creatures emerged, their stony forms gradually materializing from within the foliage.
Hysterical screams echoed from within the forest, a chorus of terror as the pirate captain grappled with the realization that he had underestimated the mysterious forces lying in wait.
