Chapter 3 Escape

His vision grew dark before clearing. He could see specs of dust and even molecules with his upgraded eye.

"Pure Rinne Sharingan," Said Ash In wonderment. He began to mutter to himself while staring at his status screen silently.

Taking a moment to adjust, one which he didn't have. He stared through the bars of the roof of his cage, and with a loud sigh, he could only shake his head at the time lost to his unorthodox awakening. Forcing the excitement and the subsequent confusion that came from the forefront. He renewed his resolve to escape and alleviate his predicament.

His agenda: Escape his confinement and train himself, he couldn't dawdle, and time wasn't on his time; once it was known he escaped, Hidden Leaf would do about anything to get him back or destroy him; they wouldn't let the nine-tail container fall into another village hands, and there was also the other hidden villages he had to be wary of if his identities became exposed; his reason to obtaining the Rinnegan was because of its ability to control multiple autonomous bodies.

He clenched his tiny hands. Hidden Leaf Village would pay. Even if he wanted to forgive them, he couldn't; those smoldering coals in his gut were still burning like a phoenix fire, their embers unquenchable. As long as they burned, the fire would be accompanied by destruction. How could he not recognize the fire of rage? He was born in those flames; at least Ashton was. Also, he firmly realized that if the concept of pain existed, those who sought retribution existed.

Hatred!

That's what he felt at the moment, boundless hate. He clicked his tongue. The hatred that Naruto Uzumaki denied himself throughout his turbulent life bulged outward and exploded.

He would make them pay for his mistreatment. Kami willing, he'll see Konoha destroyed, a broken ruin of a failed village. Even pain's destruction of Konoha wouldn't compare to what he will bring down on their heads. He stood up, the sludge and dirty water dripping off of him. He started forward.

His dark eyes glowed ominously, and the outer ring of his unique six-ringed one tomoe Dōjutsu spun rapidly as he starred ahead, as if he aaa glimpsing the future, a future of his choosing.

Successfully performing the hand seals for Kage Bunshin, he immediately was met with a jarring problem; his vision was shared, which he had suspected but hoped shadow clones wouldn't have that function. It did open up another avenue of his eyes to him.

Ashton had Yin-Yang release, and all of the Rinnegan abilities, even the unique and obscure techniques, should be able to be grasped by him. He dispelled the clones and went with six; closing his original self's eyes, he breathed in and out before his eyes opened slowly. That was quite simple, he concluded. He smiled.

He could only use Six clones proficiently at the moment; once his eyes began to mature, he would undoubtedly be able to summon more, maybe even be comparable to Naruto in the anime; he did like the idea of thousands of Kage Bunshin swarming his enemies.

His six Shadow clones practiced hand seals, Shurikenjutsu, and bukijutsu. While they were energetically training, the original him was mustering all he had to learn what ocular abilities he had under his belt.

He did confirm earlier he has the Eye of Insight Dōsatsugan. Therefore he probably had the Eye of Hypnotism Saimingan. These were innate gifts of stage one, Sharingan.

While he was meditating, one of his clones did something unexpected and summoned a black Rod to defend itself from another clone. He peered at the clone, which exploded in a puff of smoke, and the information flooded his mind.

"Black Receiver Rod!" He said softly. His hand pulled apart, creating the Black Rod. He stood, forgoing meditation, and began to chuckle but soon full-on laugh as he stared at the receiver rod in his hands. Somewhere in his exhilaration, his clones stood bolt-straight and started to laugh with him.

He raised his hand toward the wall and slowly said, "Deva Path-Pull." He wasn't sure about the Finnegan activation abilities. Still, he understood that Dōujutsu matured, leading to better control and other skills.

The tools skewered in the wall of his cell rattled as the tools flowed toward him. He could control attractive and repulsive forces; the more chakra he used, the more influential the power applied. He could subvert the natural laws of gravity around him, there are other abilities associated with the path, but he couldn't use them; unfortunately, as that was, it was still a boon he had this ability first. Soon, he'll be able to fly using this ability or float great heights from the earth if his memory serves him right.

He did it again, and nothing happened; the downtime of the ability was still the same.

Too much too fast would undoubtedly hamper him in his other abilities. He summons a clone and sets it to practice his gravity manipulation.

The Deva Path (Tendō) allows one to manipulate attractive and repulsive forces.

The Asura Path (Shuradō) grants the user mechanized limbs, weaponry, and armor.

The Human Path (Ningendō) allows one to remove a soul and read a person's mind.

The Animal Path (Chikushōdō) lets the user summon various creatures.

The Preta Path (Gakidō) can absorb all chakra forms, including most ninjutsu.

The Naraka Path (Jigokudō), through which one can summon and control the King of Hell.

The Outer Path (Gedō) rules over both life and death.

He discovered a Downside to his new eyes; he couldn't turn them off. Killed his excellent mood. His Unique eyes were seemly linked to his deep chakra reserve. He suspected half of his chakra reserves were being diverted to his eyes alone.

After a cursory check of his status, he confirmed there was some truth there. His B+ Chakra was B -. He didn't know if he should be saddened or glad he had chakra to spare. There was also the fact his seal was still intact, and he didn't have 9-tails chakra leaking into his pathways.

He had some ideas about Fūinjutsu, especially with his shinigami abilities and utilizing and mastering Kidō. He could imagine the powers and Jutsu he could formulate with added spells of a Shinigami. He needed a blade, and unlike bleach world, he didn't have a way to create an Asauchi. Fortunately, he could purchase one from the system, so he had nothing to worry about.

After trial and error, he made Dōjutsu more normal; if normal meant black pupilless eyes, which seemed similar to Byakugan solid whites. He confirmed he couldn't do any of his ocular Jutsu In this form.

He jumped up from his meditative position. His tattered clothes were actual rags now. With a puff of white smoke, the clothes appeared.

He admired himself. He chuckled, thinking of his gaming past. He always made sure he was cosmetically impeccable. He had a sturdy bamboo hat on that cast a shadow over his upper face. His red bangs flowed over his shoulders. He wore a black shirt and pants, with similar black spiked boots. He raised his cloak to admire its designs. It had his mother clan swirls across it, identical to Akatsuki robes. He did get the idea from them, and he wondered what they were up to, but the thought didn't linger. He had more pressing matters than the rouge group at the moment.

Doton: Gansetsukon created a Rock Staff and was also a rank E Jutsu that allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into a staff. The user can then use it as a weapon or throw it accurately at their opponent. A variation of this Jutsu allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy. He chose this Jutsu because it was low-cost and one of the deadliest earth-natured Jutsu.

He had a significant grasp over E-rank Jutsu. With his eyes and knowledge of shadow clone usage, he wouldn't have much of a problem utilizing other harsher, more taxing Jutsu to perfection.

He slammed his hand down and pulled back rapidly. A rod of rock came with his hand.

He did notice the marginal increase in his stats. He even acquired a new stat, BukiJutsu, a ninja weapon technique.

Hidden Mist Jutsu. The mist at its thickest could even hamper his ocular prowess. But even without his enhanced perception, his linked clones could manage.

With last-minute purchases, that pretty much broke his inner piggy bank.

"Hidden Mist Jutsu. Ox, Snake, Ram." The clone's hand slammed down in sync; Ash didn't even realize he had performed a combination Jutsu utilizing clones, a feat some Jounin couldn't pull off. The mist at its thickest could even hamper his ocular prowess. But even without his enhanced perception, his linked clones could manage.

Part one: greatly Obscure their viability. The sudden formation of the mist startled the captures into a frenzy.

The moon was at its fullest tonight. His plan to escape was now arrayed; he could only hope it worked how he planned.

The door opened. In walked a man in a white lab coat. He had a black forehead protector with a leaf in the middle, and three other Shinobis accompanied him. They all had on Anbu's mask. Two shinobi moved ahead of the man when they saw the mist with their Kunai drawn. The third stayed back and was performing hand seals. He scanned around.

"What is this?" said the man with a fear-laden voice.

Ash didn't give them time to respond. He dashed forward while his hands moved through the hand seals rapidly.

"Target dead ahead," said the third man, sensor ninja?" Ash brought his hand to his mouth and spewed burning leaves toward his target. The earlier warning saved the man from a burning surprise as he clapped his hand, and the air quivered, and the burning leaves were turned inept. "We should retreat; the hidden jail has been compromised," said the lab coat shinobi.

The root was carelessly silent. They didn't show much concern or fear in the mist obscuring their view.

"Retrieve the boy and collapse the base," said the Sensor Ninja nonchalantly; the two didn't respond but spread out in a triangle formation. The lab coat guy retreated through the door.

Ash appeared from the wall, staff in hand. The Sensor tuned around, performed hand seals, and released a gout of fire in his direction. The medium size Katon Justu slammed into his position, and with a Poof, the clone dispersed.

Ash flung kunais through the mist, tag sparking on end. The sensor ninja quickly performed a Jutsu and diverted the exploding kunais toward the ceiling. Boom. Boom. Boom. The explosion shook the cells, and screams emanated from the captured.

Ash slowly submerged into the ground. 'Shit. That Sensor is a damn nuisance,' he complained as he hid away.

He didn't even realize his system gave notifications. He had injured them regardless of the explosive tags attached to kunais didn't work as he theorized. But he was surprised at the information about the Jutsu that appeared in his head. A savage smile appeared on his face.

You have successfully copied Fire: Fireball Jutsu.

Ash clones were doubly hidden. He had used the earthen walls to camouflage them and the mist to obscure their vision. His clones emerged from the walls and attacked the root shinobis at every opportunity.

He had to end him if he wanted to escape capture again. The Sensor was a nuisance; he somehow could relay directions to the other two. And their root training was balancing his hit and runs.

He appeared from the earth and grabbed the shinobi's legs; his other clone rushed through the mist; the clone stamped down and spun rapidly, sending rock spears piercing through the air. His other clone appeared from the wall beside the captured root shinobi black receiver rod in its hand.

Highly trained as the Root shinobi wasn't too tricky; mission aside, they were barely above genin, still better off than Ash, but he had his Dōjutsu to bridge the experience gap.

The root genin screamed aloud as the rock spears pierced his body. Ash released the man's ankles as the other clone slammed the black rod into the man silencing him for good.

While he was ending the Sensor, his other clones were taken out. He had two clones remaining, and one of the three was defeated.

He rushed out of the mist and his staff whirling and twirling around him as he engaged a tanto-wielding root shinobi. His other two clones engaged the other root shinobi; one had a black rod, and the other an earth staff in what could only be described as a fierce battle as sparks and curses emanated in the mist.

Ash looked at the man, who was visibly panting and had a cracked squirrel mask. He was decent enough only to suffer small slashes, nothing fatal. His clone did kill the other root. He smiled as he flipped backward and spun, deflecting the Kunais thrown his way. Ash tipped his hat and disappeared into the mist.

"Deva path: Pull," He said softly; the man stumbled forward, his mask falling from his face. He froze and realized who he was dealing with before the man's palm strike.

Behind Ash, the clone emerged with the black receivers, pushing the original away as the rods and the Hyuga palm connected.

Ash receivers were connected to him. When it touched the shinobi's palm, he was bombarded with scattered thoughts of the shinobi. The root shinobi fared much worse, his chakra was in disarray, and he couldn't mold immediately afterward and went lept backward.

Ash's head was throbbing. He was breathing heavily. He made a gesture and muttered. "Release," causing the mist to recede.

Byakugan.

Ash stared into the man's eyes. He would say he was shocked, but he wasn't, or he was just too tired to care.

Danzo managed to get a Byakugan user in the root? He must have altered the verse with his arrival.

"Who are you?" He looked at him with disbelief.

The root couldn't make out his features, with his hat casting a shadow across his upper face.

"Since you will die here, Hyuga." The boy shrugged and tossed his hat away.

The man's face quivered, his mask of indifference faltering. "Demon! What? How did you manage this?" Years of Root condition prevailed, and he gathered himself and reinstated his mask.

"Does it matter? I thought your Sensor was good, but you were the problem. Shouldn't you be able to see through the mist? He wondered how the Hyuga managed not to defeat him or at least make him take out all his cards.

The root shinobi sneered and gripped his tanto tighter.

"I never expected to do battle against the famed Hyuga." Ash's eyes roamed over the man's face.

He didn't recognize him from the show. "I see you're not caged. So does that mean the main house? Or transplant?

"Danzo and his fanboyish fascination with Dōjutsu." he shrugged. He said teasingly. He was not caring if the root refused to answer.

The prisoners were glued to their bars staring at the two. The Hyuga stared around and sneered.

"Demon, it doesn't matter how you learned what you know. Playing is over." His eye bulged, and he got in the Jūken stance.

Ash smiled at the man. "Jūken? That's nice. You're still a fool not to have used those eyes before. Let's see if you can hinder me without your helpers. Ash opened his eyes fully and activated his Dōujutsu. The Root Hyuga stumbled and had a hideous facial expression.

"IMPOSSIBLE! What are those eyes?" He sputtered. Ash clone appeared beneath him, grabbing his legs. He loved this Doton Jutsu; it was always a pleasant surprise to shinobi since most never paid attention to the underneath.

The Hyuga spun, releasing chakra from his tenketsu and creating a spherical dome around him.

Ash laughed loudly as he walked toward the man going through the hand seals. "I just recently learned this," he said amusingly as Black Rod appeared in his hand. "Since you offered those eyes to me so vehemently, let me pierce you with a few of these." His pace increased as he ran toward the man.

"You!" Said the Hyuga as he could not speak further; the boy was faster than he was earlier. Just what were those eyes?

Ash knew the Byakugan wasn't for show. He wanted those eyes. He wouldn't let the man just hit him, sealing his tenketsu. While they danced, Ash was amazed at how he could destroy his clones; even a small brush would cause them to disperse.

Ash using the receivers as the counter, could battle the Hyuga. Ash rods were able to scatter one chakra and drain stamina. The Hyuga didn't know his folly.

He couldn't practice his Taijutsu in the cell, so thus Hyuga was an excellent dummy to improve and see the usefulness of his old-world martial arts. His wish, Genius Aptitude, was also showing its effectiveness.

The Hyuga has an incredulous look; who would dare to fight one in close quarters? Insanity! He roared in his head. His emotionless mask cracked.

Ash's eyes spun rapidly. His Dōjutsu was able to bridge the minor skill gap between the two. Ash did receive a brush on his cheek and knew then that Hyuga was not to be trifled with.

After the last wave of clones was expelled, the two went back and forth. Ash was ducking, weaving, and using all manner of maneuvers to avoid the deadly palms.

"Enough!" He screamed, and his hands whirled around in a figured eight pattern. Eight -Trigrams Revolving Heaven!" The man spun, releasing chakra around him. Ash raised his hand and activated Deva Path's ability.

The invisible force impacted the man's defensive technique. He stumbled, Ash gestured with his hand, and the Hyuga was ushered toward him.

Not resigned to his fate, the man brought his hand forward. "Eight-Trigrams Vacuum Palm."

Ash's smile vanished as he was pushed away. He rolled across the ground before exploding in smoke. The man stared down at the rod going through his abdomen. He whirled around, but not before smashing the end off.

"How," He said, stumbling.

Ash rushed toward the man and hit him with another rod, his chakra now scattered, and that palm had closed a few of his tenketsu points.

"Your Jūken had holes in its usage. It only took my eyes a couple of exchanges before I noticed. I also suspected you were not a Hyuga." Ash stated, waking toward the down man.

"I supposed you could be some bastard," Ash said, stabbing Rods into the man's legs. The man whimpered and bled onto the ground.

Ash stood with a bewildered look across his face. "This may take some time to prepare and submit. Ah! You would be the perfect present for the council and Danzo." Ash stabbed an additional receiver into the man's stomach.
