"Okay," Emmy said, a small smile taking precedence on her face.
Fischl quickly pulled her inside and they both walked in as the door closed behind them. Emmy looked around the familiar space and curiously looked at her friend who was dragging her to the rooms.
"Uh, Fischl shouldn't we get something to eat first? I'll make us something yeah," Emmy said, swinging their hands.
"Hmph! If it pleases you," Fischl let go of their hands and went to sit down at the table.
"I'll captivate her mightiness with my cooking! Just wait and see."
"I await your luxurious meal of the three realms, whether it shall captivate one of my statures is subject to the moment."
Emmy shook her head as she went into the kitchen. She began her search for the freezing compartment somewhere on the floor and found it in the opposite direction of where it was in her house.
"Okay I need some pinecones, potatoes, and... jam," Emmy began searching for the ingredients for the food she had in mind.
When she got what she needed the girl lit the stove by snapping her fingers, sending a flame toward the firewood. She placed a pot on top of the growing fire and began to do her thing.
Firstly she ground the pinecones into a rough powder with her hands and then used tools, later on, to make it fine. After finishing she placed them on the side and began washing, peeling, and cutting the potatoes into thick circular stripes.
"Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm~," Emmy hummed, using her flames to gently dry the potatoes of excess water.
She squeezed them a little to feel the water content and saw that they released a bit of water, which was perfect. She took the jam that was on the side and scoped out some of it. Then, she placed the jam on the potato, covering the whole thing in the jam.
"Then I have to do this right? yeah, it's that part next," Emmy muttered, tapping her head and getting some jam on it as she pondered the next step.
Reaching an answer she placed the potato into the bowl of fine pinecone powder, she flipped it, getting the whole thing covered in powder. Then taking a tray she had on the counter she placed the half-finished hash brown and repeated the process numerous times.
When Emmy finally finished her 8th hash brown the fire was already well-developed, so it was time to "bake the cakes". She looked at the pot and immediately notice that she couldn't fit all of them in, so she replaced it.
"Now all that's left is to wait," Emmy said wiping what little sweat had accumulated on her forehead.
So Emmy sat on a stool she found in the kitchen and waited for the stuff to finish cooking, she wasn't idle though as she began to practice her fire element again. Time passed quickly as she could now make her flames reach 1 meter away from her body.
Compared to the other day it may have sounded pathetic to anyone's ears but these flames were completely stable and Emmy had complete control of them. So they were much more useful compared to her unstable flames from the incident.
During that time she had noticed that Fischl was gone, but not in a bad way as she saw her friend in her room cleaning some things. Emmy was going to be sleeping here after all. She wondered where she would get her clothes and necessities when she remembered;
"I left my bag here, didn't I? I think I did. It's here isn't it," Emmy jumped into action as she went into the living room and found her bag on the table.
"Hmm, nothing has changed and everything is here."
That solved Emmy went back to her cooking and found that it was time to remove the food from the pot. She grabbed some hand mittens, that were a bit... to big for her hands but she managed to take the pot from the stove and placed it on the counter.
Removing the cover she took a large thong and picked the individual Hash Browns, placing them in two separate bowls. She took some fruit and sliced them up, placing them in the bowl as well.
"Fischl! Supper is ready!" Emmy said, projecting her voice with her hands as she made her way to the living room with the two bowls in hand.
Once there she already found some glasses of water and a jug waiting for her on the table. The table seemed to already be set for them to eat, leaving Emmy to wonder... When did this happen?
She didn't remember the table having been set when she entered through the door or did Fischl do it when she wasn't looking?
'It's possible, I have been known to focus too much on one task at a time, so I wouldn't notice if she passed by me,' Emmy reflected and placed the bowls on the table.
Fischl came down a few moments later as she hopped down the stairs, eventually coming to a stop as she met Emmy's eyes. She placed her hands on her hips, giving Emmy a fake glare as if challenging her.
"Is one ready to acknowledge their inadequacies in the art of flame and stove, for thy unlit furnaces to never again be graced with the heavens flames?"
"I'll pass on that princess, after this, your tastebuds will belong to me!"
"Bold! Your guts have transcended all life for such a statement to be made."

10 minutes later...
"It's... so good!"
After taking the first bite and looking at the frozen features of Fischl, Emmy knew she had won. She especially made the powder and used her flames to give the potatoes optimum moisture, it would have been hard without her ability to manipulate fire though.
Emmy was quite proud of herself as she looked at the usually proud princess elegantly stuffing her face. She looked adorable in Emmy's opinion, the countless nights spent perfecting her art were not in vain.
"Is there no more available?" Fischl looked around and saw Emmy looking at her attentively, waiting for something.
"I have some but..." Emmy left the implication hanging in the air.
They looked at each other for a while before Fischl ducked her head into her hands in defeat, did she have to admit it? She looked at the delicious Hash Browns and thought that; pride wasn't above food in terms of importance, right?
While she was deep in thought she smell something and sniff, a Hash Brown was placed at her nose but Emmy. She had a smile on her face and directed the food to her mouth by lowering her hand and Fischl instinctively bit down on it.
'Cute,' Emmy thought looking as Fischl held the Hash browns delicately in her hands and took small bites.
She didn't eat that many opting to give them to Fischl instead, so she only ate 2 of them in total while she gave Fischl the rest. She used her clean hand to pinch her friend's nose slightly.
"Don't overthink it yeah, I already have my answer," Emmy said as she took the bowls away and re-entered the kitchen.
Emmy started washing the dishes when Fischl entered with the remainder of the water jug and glasses. She started washing those, standing close to Emmy. They quickly washed all the kitchen utilities and went back out.
"March forth! The everlasting spring awaits us!" Fischl said pointing upstairs.
"I could use a bathe right now, I don't think I had one for today either, ugh," Emmy sniffed herself and groaned in disgust.
She smelt like sweat, fire, blood, and burning flesh. Emmy's face darkened slightly at the last two discoveries before it went back to normal, stopping Fischl when she also wanted to take a whiff. Emmy sighed as she used her finger to keep her friend at a distance.
"I'm too stinky, you might faint. Let's go."
"Hmm..."
Emmy took the lead as she walked up the stairs with her bag and went to the bathroom door, she was going to enter when she thought of something. She looked at Fischl in confusion.
"So, who is going first? You or me? Or do we just go together?" Emmy asked, gesturing at both of them and the door.
"Hmm, one said that they were dirty did they not, then go! Cleanse thyself in the spring waters, and return to the lair of everlasting darkness."
"Okay, I'll be back in a while."
Emmy opened the door, closing it behind her as she made her way to the bathtub. She took off the clothes she currently had on her and placed them on the floor somewhere and entered the bathtub.
She opened the pipe and watched as it filled the tub with hot water, then she grabbed some soap and sat down in the tub. She sighed in comfort as the warm water wrapped around her body.
She began to scrub herself using the soap and passed some into her hair, religiously washing, watching as the dirt and grime fell off her body. She came out after a while and unplugged the stopper in the bottom.
"I'm done!"
12 Minutes had passed during this time.
Emmy dried herself with a towel and rapidly dressed in her bunny nightie, going outside the door with her bag. Gesturing for Fischl to go in as she had strangely waited outside the door all this while.
"Await my return!"
"Alright."
Emmy watched as she walked into the bathroom and closed the door before walking in the direction of Fischl's room.
