Emmy woke up to the chirping of birds through her window, a groan sounded as the girl got up from the bed and started to rub her eyes, the tears already faded long before.
She opened her window taking a breath of the morning air, "I wonder how long would it be before I could kill that Mitachurl in one casual blow."
Casual morning thoughts ran through her mind. Indeed something a 7-year-old would think of after waking up in the morning.
[It depends on how the Host trains.]
Emmy nodded, her training regime had upgraded quite a few times and she was now doing advanced calisthenics exercises along with weight-lifting, she surprised herself the other day with a lift of 257 kgs, nearly thrice her body weight of 87 kgs.
[The Host is still within Human standards or should it be termed Athletic Human standards.]
Emmy shrugged, "I'll be improving fast as time goes by due to those growth hormones right? Plus I have a sneaking suspicion that my talent will come in handy as well."
[Indeed.]
Emmy grabbed her essentials heading to the bathroom, "Speaking of the talent... Did you find anything relating to it?" She opened the door and headed inside, "Also how do I unseal the other stages of the talent, they should be important right?"
[Naturally when the Host's strength is increased all shall be unsealed eventually. The [True Combat] talent seems to be mired in mystery, but fear not Host the system will protect you from all dangers.]
'Mhmm,' Emmy placed her ducky on her head before sinking into the water, letting it float just above her head, 'It just feels fishy is all.'
[Indeed.]
"But I'm more surprised by the fact that you don't know everything," Emmy blew some bubbles in the water, "I thought that."
[The system does know most things about this world. The system is a Nigh-Omniscient and Nigh-Omnipotent training device. The host should be assured that you are in the right hands.]
Nigh-Omniscient?
Nigh-Omnipotent?
"L-Like... God level Nigh-Omnipotence?" Emmy asked as she played with her fingers while looking around, "Like shifting mountains and covering several regions in everlasting snow."
[As long as there is sufficient energy, however, such things will inhibit the host's growth and the system is not permitted to take such action.]
"Under what circumstances then?"
[The system cannot say but the host shouldn't go to seek her death, as few energy sources in the world would provide the system with such power. The system also doesn't possess that much power either.]
Of course, the system was lying but the host would lose all sense of fear or tension if she knew she couldn't die.
But it was true that it didn't have the current energy reserves to support such actions, especially the revival of another being.
Such a thing was practically impossible!
Not in its current state anyway.
"How much energy would it take, honestly."
[Energy equivalent to a High God-rank individual or rather [SSS+] rank.]
High God rank?
"There are names for them then?" Emmy got out of the water and placed her ducky on the shelf, "Then can you tell me the other names then?"
[Affirmative.]
[Displaying...]
[Note: The system will only display ranks [B] to [SSS] in this viewing.
[SSS] - God
[SS] - Transcendent
[S] - Saint
[A] - Great Master
[B] - Master
Note: Those below this rank aren't worth being taken notice of by the system.]
"So I have the potential to be a saint at least huh," Emmy said as she started to dress as usual, "So the [+] and [-] dictate how much more powerful or weaker than the regular ones right?"
[Indeed. Then being [High] and [Low] respectively. They are the "borders" that dictate the next rank and can be broken easily depending on the person. Some might even unconsciously skip these stages and enter the next realm completely.]
"Hmm," Emmy exited her room and went down to the kitchen with her bag in hand. "I'm guessing that I should be capable of this realm jumping as well?"
[Indeed.]
"How do I do it then?" Ever since she got the system she was more obsessed with strength than ever before, it was kind of weird.
But she didn't put much thought into it.
[Enhancements. Things like drugs, pills, medicines, or even special foods can increase the probability of doing such things.]
"They sound suspicious, I think I'll do my own thing like a regular person. No drugs for me." Emmy finished eating a light meal, which consisted of some fruits and she placed it in the sink.
She grabbed a sunsettia from the cupboard and ran toward the door, she paused.

She went back into the kitchen, grabbing a few more of the peach-colored fruit before she went back to the door. This time she went out into the world, closing the door behind her.
Unknown to Emmy, the moment she stepped through her door a mysterious book was dropped into her bag. A purple glow rested on it for several moments before vanishing like mist, and only those words could be seen.

Emmy walked out of the Adventurer's guild with the rest of the group and came upon a familiar face at the entrance.
Wasn't that Lynx?
Emmy and her friends stopped as they looked at the boy, his vision nowhere to be seen on his person. He was currently talking to Katherine about something.
'So he decided to hide it huh?' Emmy thought, she didn't catch a glimpse of anything on him that resembled a vision.
"Boss?" Harlin muttered as he looked at her and she shook her head, she started walking away.
They weren't Lynx's friends so they had no reason to greet him, just as she passed by she took a glance at Lynx and saw that he was looking at her as well. He had no expression as usual since that incident and she turned her gaze away.
"Hey boss, when are we beginning that training thing you talked about?" Andre said as he flexed proudly, "My tutor said that I'm a sword genius rarely seen in a thousand years, I might beat you."
Of course, he was joking, nobody was stronger than the boss in his mind. If they were stronger than her now, that just meant the boss wasn't there yet.
It would only be a matter of time.
But though he meant it as a joke, others may not see it as one.
"Poor fool," Harlin said but muttered in the wind but Emmy heard it clearly and she sighed.
Why did she have to deal with breaking the confidence of another person?
Emmy, for instance, misunderstood him by a significant margin, as someone without a high EQ.
'Is there a way to rectify this system?' She didn't want to comfort someone for such a thing, she was simply bad at such a thing or she was too harsh.
[Just beat him overwhelmingly. Before true strength whose knees shall not bow? He will understand the gap and will not suffer from such a thing. Things too far from reach are deemed unattainable after all.]
'That sounds a bit... wrong?' Emmy thought.
[The host needs not to worry. The boy was merely joking, but as the Host has little EQ, The host misunderstood.]
'You were joking then?'
[If the host thinks so... then it is so. If one understands early that they are no match, then they will not harbor any ill will or unpleasant feelings.]
'Hmm...'
Emmy tapped her bag, thinking about the mysterious books she got from the system earlier.
It wasn't like the information capsules she was told about but the system did give it to her, so it should be something similar.
"I can't train with you all today," Emmy spoke and they all listened, "We'll do it in three days' time when we have a slight grasp of the technicalities and... Fischl!"
She perked up, her twin tails bouncing.
"I have something for you, so you'll be following me home and that's it yeah."
Harlin scratched his chin, "I'll just train some more before we meet then," he yawned as walked backward while looking at them, "I still need to get used to that giant sword."
"You are already using a giant sword!" Andre said, "How are you strong enough?"
"It's a specially made sword genius," Harlin said, a chuckle floating out of his mouth, "Not much of a 'once in a thousand-year genius' are we?"
Andre nearly pounced on him but was held back by his brother, who shook his head at his brother's antics. Ansgar, on the other hand, was being dragged along by Noelle, who decided to join them for training.
He would take too long to look at merchandise otherwise. She had been doing this for a while it seems, as he was strangely obedient in her arms.
The sight of the larger boy being dragged by the small girl reminiscent of a rabbit was quite comical.
"Alright," Sebastian slapped his thigh, "So we all meet up in like... 3 days perhaps?"
"Indeed," Fischl closed her eyes and crossed her arms, "Hmph! When the birds take flight and at the beginning of divine light shall we meet. In three nights' time shall we meet on the field of blood."
A giggle slipped through her lips, her eyes opened and she lifted her arms in a flourish.
"What a splendid dawn it shall be," Her eyes sparkled, "Wouldn't you say."
Andre crossed his arms, "Hmph! It is as you say, lady Fischl. The time is nigh!"
The two continued to roleplay for a while.
Aries covered his mouth but his eyes revealed all that he felt, the others just looked on with warm smiles on their faces.
A little while later the group said their goodbyes before they dispersed. Andre cracked his neck before leaving, a faint red line showing, and Emmy squinted.
What was that?
