Fischl looked at the man in front of her in disbelief and backed away a little. For some reason, she didn't trust this person at all, but that may just be her paranoia speaking. It tended to make itself known in the most inconvenient of circumstances as of late.
"Who are you?"
"I just said that I'm Inosuke."
Fischl was skeptical but she had more important things to worry about like...
"Why are you in Emmy's house? She didn't tell me she had a brother, uncle, or...whoever you are," Fischl squinted her hands on her hips as she interrogated the man.
"I'm a friend of her father, haha. We went to Academia together for so many years and I even met Emmy last year. Anyways you can come in, you want to see Emmy right," Inu lied through his teeth. He had done this a thousand times over and he even had lines specifically for a situation like this.
If they didn't even have this much preparation under their belts they wouldn't be worthy or qualified to guard someone like their young miss. The Madam would never let them safeguard her precious grandchildren if they were that incompetent.
"Hmm," Fischl still didn't believe him but her worry for Emmy overridden all reservations she had of the man and so she entered through the door. "I want to see Emmy please."
"Er, I don't think now is the best time..."
"Are you implying that I am not allowed to visit my friend?" Fischl's face became a bit fierce and her tone was a bit cold. "Then, I the Prinzessin have even more of a reason to do so, any argument you now wish to present in favor of I not going is thus rendered invalid. Case closed."
Saying so, the girl started climbing the stairs to Emmy's room so she could see her friend with her own eyes, not listening to the words of the strange man behind her. She knew it was a bit rude but at this moment she felt something was wrong, so she didn't care as much as she normally would.
"And... There she goes. Gone. Not even listening to what I have to say. Kids these days, they don't respect adults at all..." Inu rubbed his face and his eyes looked tired.
He shook his head and began to scale the stairs as well to get to the room, anyway whether the kid respected adults or not wasn't his problem. They already had their disguises and were all well-trained for these situations.
It wasn't like anything could go wrong.
"And even if it were..." His eyes turned sharp and a chilling aura erupted from his body. "We of the #### would be able to protect the young miss any time of the day, even if the Fatui came she would be safe."
Then that aura disappeared like smoke and once again he put on a cheerful smile, like a smiling tiger he made his way to Emmy's room.

Fischl entered the room to see her friend Emmy naked on the bed with two women wiping her body with what seemed to be wet cloth and for a while, she was a bit dazed.
Then that strange man came into the room...
Fischl immediately acted and tried to push him out of the door in fear that he would see anything, and Inu not knowing why the girl tried to push him out was stunned for a moment. Her push didn't even tickle his thighs.
Naturally, as he was larger and also of a higher rank in all his attributes than the girl, even while she was using her full strength, he didn't move a single millimeter.
It was like a mouse trying to move a mountain, pointless and quite depressing.
While thinking about why the girl suddenly became like this he happened to glance up and instantly placed his gaze back on the ground. He hurriedly retreated, an awkward smile on his face.
"Huh? Ah... Ow!"
Fischl who was pushing the man so intensely fell when he was no longer there to support her. The first thing she noticed was that it was cold and the second thing she notice about hitting her face on the wooden floor was that it was painful.
Fischl got up from the ground a looked in the direction she remembered the man went hatefully but to her shock, he wasn't there. Seeing this she was a bit resentful but knew that she only fell because she was pushing him too hard.
But it was also his fault, Fischl thought. If he didn't go so quickly!
She rubbed her face painfully before she remembered what she came here for and approached the bed slowly. She ignored how disorderly the room looked and kept her eyes trained on her friend.
The two women didn't think to stop her until she was a meter away, and that was when she saw a face mask placed on her face. Confused, Fischl looked up, the woman who gave it to her looked at her kindly, shaking the mask in her face.
"Should I...? Take it?"
"Mhmm!" The woman, who had her braided hair over her shoulder said, her bright eyes looking extremely earnest.
Fischl hesitantly took the mask and placed it on her face.

Then after that, she stepped closer to the bed to see how Emmy was doing, paying no mind to her friend's naked body. She didn't have the leisure to worry about such a thing, and her friend's condition caused her to completely forget about such a thing.
Looking at Emmy's condition, if Fischl was honest her friend just looked like she was a tomato who had a body, but her body also looked a bit red, or maybe that was the light coming from the open window.
Sizzle—
Was that a sizzle?
'Aren't sizzles made when you are frying something or when water touches a hot object causing it to evaporate at a high speed? How hot is Emmy right now?'
Fischl reached out to touch her friend after a while, her head looked like it was boiling over despite the two women trying to cool her down. Fischl, obviously not in her right mind tried to touch her and this would have had disastrous consequences...
Was it not for the two women being there?
The blonde-haired one grabbed her, "Don't. 'Ushiana' over there tried to touch her but got burned in the process, you wouldn't fair much better. So, spare us the trouble of treating two little brats and sit down in some corner and play with a toy or whatever..."
"I like books, not toys!" Fischl said as she looked at the blonde woman. Her green eyes and slit pupils reminded her of a cat and at this moment the emotions swirling in them looked to be a mixture of nervousness, annoyance, concern, and many others.
Ushiana(Fake Name), while her comrade talked to the girl was furiously trying to look for a cure to her young miss strange illness. As an expert in all sorts of medical procedures and as the one with the role of "Caretaker" in the special protection squad she was trained for a situation just like this.
She fixed her gloves and grabbed at the air, several golden needles coming into her hands and in her other hand a mysterious-looking bottle. It shook and sounds were heard from it, indicating that what was inside seemed to be pills of some kind.
Fischl looked amazed and Neko, a look of understanding crossed her face. She seemed to know what these tools were for.
In their organization, while they normally dealt with protection, assassination, and interrogation it didn't mean that they were incapable of giving comfort. There were special people trained for that very purpose.
The Caretakers.
"It's time for me to work, all of you get out of the room now. I'll need three hours to get this done, no distractions."
"Okay."
"Wha—"
"Bye then," The Caretaker, Ushi, nodded and began to prepare the rest of her tools in silence as her colleague picked up the other girl and went out rapidly, ignoring her protests. Not forgetting to lock the door behind her.
Ushi sighed, "Young miss, we're in for a long ride. When I'm done you'll be as good as new!"
Saying such words the woman began to work her magic, the golden needles in her hand sparkled and faint runes covered them. They seemed to be artifacts.

Emmy coughed, her head was a bit muddled. Her throat was clogged and she thrashed about, struggling to claw out what was blocking it up.
"Get– up, Child."
Huh? Who was speaking?
"Emmy? Emmy..."
Who are you guys? Emmy vehemently tried to open her eyes to take a look and in her effort she did. For a few scant moments, she stared ahead of her, and what she saw... What she saw was...
Nine balls of light?!
But that wasn't all.
The brightest one said something that completely shook her to the core.
"Hello, little sister."
