“I want to ask you about something important,” Lyon smiled wryly.
“Oh?” Cecile raised one of her brows before she smirked and crossed her arms, “Sounds so hesitant, that’s not like you.”
Lyon laughed as he scratched his hair, “Well, that’s because what I’m about to ask is quite, not your cup of tea.”
Cecile furrowed her brows, “What does the mighty Lyon want of his own wife?” she smiled. “You’re not asking for forgiveness, are you?”
“Forgiveness? No, no, no, I didn’t make any grievous mistake that I can think of,” Lyon shook his head. “Listen, Karina, lost her arm.”
“I know that,” Cecile made a slow nod. “I was there remember?”
“Yeah so, she is an Anti-Mana cultivator, so…” Lyon made an awkward smile.
“So you cannot reattach her arm using magic, and you need an Anti-Mana magic cultivator to do it for you?” Cecile raised one of her brows.
Lyon nodded and smiled, “I know you would understand!!”
“You want to go to Hell,” Cecile sighed.
“I have no choice,” Lyon sighed. “Otherwise, I would blame myself for the rest of my life if I don’t go there and reattach her arm, or, maybe let it regenerate, somehow.”
Cecile peeked over his shoulder and saw Karina sleeping peacefully under Jugen’s embrace. The woman had already saved his husband twice. Without the existence of this half-breed elf, there was no way that she could have met her husband, even worse, she might found his corpse instead.
She returned her glance at Lyon before opening her lips.
“Lyon!”
A familiar call made Lyon peek over Cecile and found a woman running with her purple hair fluttering against the air.
Cecile smirked before she stepped away.
“Luna,” Lyon muttered before he saw her leaping toward him. “Oh!”
Lyon immediately opened his arms and embraced her gently with a spin to throw away her momentum. “Woah, I can get used to this, haha!”
“You’re back!” Luna tightened her arms as she buried her face against his warm chest made of steel.
“What, you don’t believe that I won’t come back? What do you take me for?” Lyon jokingly said.
“A pervert.”
A cold answer came directly from another figure with beautiful jade hair. Her eyes were as strong as the silver and her divinity was comparable to the goddesses above.
“Lumina,” Lyon smiled as he looked at her slightly pouting on one side of her cheeks. Years had passed and she might be an old dragon, but the juvenile inside her was still hinting away here and there. “Lumina!”
The lady dragon slightly moved away in an instinct as she furrowed her brows at Lyon in haste, “Wh-What?”
(Hehe, she does indeed bury her affection) Lyon grinned. “I’m home.”
“W-Wh—?!”
Lyon managed to grab her wrist before he pulled her into his embrace after Luna stepped away. His hand wrinkled her clothing as the cold blood running in her veins couldn’t beat the red hue permeating her cheeks.
Lumina’s fingers twitched as her arms raised waist-high. Her lips quivered as she felt the stares from people around the duo. Her embrace was coming albeit slowly and surely. However, just as the moment she wanted to keep him for herself, Lyon slightly pushed her shoulder whilst maintaining his grip and stared at her straight right in the eyes.
“W-What?” Lumina couldn’t possibly win against her bashful cheeks.
Lyon furrowed his brows as he leaned in closer.
“W-Wai—??”
Lyon’s hand reached out to her left eyebrow before picking up something with a pinch.
Lumina furrowed her brows, “What are you…”
“Look, it’s your hair,” Lyon grinned as he placed the jade strand of hair on top of his palm. The contrast immediately revealed how true was his word.
“O-Oh…”
Lyon smiled before he turned, “Oh right, Luna.”
“Hm?” Luna raised her brows, “What is it?”
Lyon’s eyes turned sharp, “You should visit your father, when I was going to Nostria, I saw your father being transported with a horse.”
“I did,” Luna nodded and smiled. “Thank you anyway.”
“Oh, you did?” Lyon raised both brows, “How is he?”
“Thankfully the injury was not life-threatening, and although he wants me to stay a little while, my uh… my mother is kinda…”
“Huh? Your mother? Did she get hurt too?” Lyon furrowed his brows
“N-N-N-No, no, that’s not it, she is the reason why I’m here.”
“What?”
“Hehe, I will tell you about it later, or not,” Luna looked away as she forced a smile. (I mean… how could I tell him? That my mother wants me pregnant, jeez, I’m still young!). Her eyes turned fierce before she looked at Lyon.
“Uh… what?” Lyon raised his brows.
Luna sighed, “Nothing— have you eaten yet?”
“I’m starving actually,” Lyon laughed before he darted at Karina and gradually lost the power in his smile, “However that has to wait.”
Lyon calmed himself with a breath before he approached Jugen and the rest.
“Ah!” Yoji immediately knelt with one knee and had his head bowing at him. “I don’t deserve such praise.”
“I-It’s not a praise.”
“Did I say praise? Please forgive me, I meant gratitude, Emperor.”
Lyon had his lips twitching before he looked at Assid by the side. The latter suddenly adjusted his glasses and revealed his sharp eyes.
“It will be the comfiest in all Mortal World, Emperor,” Assid then vanished from everyone’s sight.
“What? What just happened?” Lyon raised his brows before he looked around. “I haven’t said a thing.”
“Leave him be, master, he already knows what you want,” Kesya grinned at the side with her arms supporting her head.
Lyon sighed. “Look’s like he knew what I was thinking, well, might as well.”
“Jugen, why don’t you stay here with her, she would be delighted to see you once she opened her eyes,” said Lyon.
“Yeah, I kinda doubt that,” Jugen looked away.
“What?” Lyon raised his brows.
“Well, you know how brother and sister work, she probably kicked my ass because she is worried,” Jugen laughed.
“Heh,” Lyon chuckled. “But at least she would be glad that you’re alright.”
“She would,” Jugen let out a heavy breath. “Though it would be the best if my father is here too.”
“Oh right, I think that can be arranged, I’ll go ask Garuda later,” Lyon nodded. “Oh wait, in fact, Kesya can you do that for me?”
“Are you sure you want me to handle this sort of thing?” asked Kesya with one of her brows raised.
“Let me tell him, master,” said Graham before Lyon could reply to her.
“Then alright, thank you, Graham,” said Lyon.
“E-En,” Graham nodded albeit the plain nervousness.
“It’s prepared,” Assid suddenly appeared right behind Lyon with his head bowing.
“Good, can you escort them?” asked Lyon as he crossed his arms and smirked.
“Absolutely, young master.”
Lyon looked at the three of them left the garden before he darted over at his wife who had her arms crossed under a tree. He gulped before he approached her wife.
“I heard what happened,” said Cecile calmly just at the moment Lyon entered the earshot.
“That fast?” Lyon muttered.
“What do you take me for?” Cecile smirked. “So you want to go to Myriad Devils?’
“Devils or Devil?” asked Lyon as he furrowed his brows. “My memories are kind of hazy about that one.”
“Doesn’t matter.”
“Right.”
“Are you sure you’re ready to go to the Dark Continent?” asked Cecile.
“I’m a True God, surely I can find a way,” Lyon nodded. “The problem is not the Dark Continent though.”
“Selena, huh,” Cecile grinned. “Not only did you not see her first thing after you met me, but you’re going there because you want to reattach a woman’s arm.”
“It’s a noble cause right?” Lyon smiled wryly.
“Her blade doesn’t see what’s right or wrong, y-o-u-n-g m-a-s-t-e-r,” Kesya chuckled at the side.
“C’mon,” Lyon shrugged his shoulder, “She couldn’t be that jealous right? I mean, I saw her first thing when I got into this world. She immediately embraced me.”
“With her tongue?” Kesya asked innocently.
“W-Well, that’s…”
“You should notice how clingy she is from that one encounter,” Cecile raised one of her brows and smirked.
“Yeah, well…”
“It’s a double-edged sword, Lyon,” Cecile pushed her back away against the tree she was leaning on. “She can cut you too.”
“Or me,” Kesya shrugged before she darted at Yoji, “Or his nipples.”
“Huh? General Kesya, did you say something?” asked Yoji.
“Nothing! Hehe!”
“Oh…” Yoji nodded, “Just ask if you need something.”
“En!” Kesya happily nodded.
Lyon tightened his lips as he darted at the ground and nodded a few times. “But, can she cut you?”
Cecile smiled before she passed Lyon. “She will have to try really hard.”
Lyon crossed his arms and smirked. “Then it’s settled, we are going to Myriad Devil!”
“Yay!” Kesya raised her hand to the sky.
Lyon turned before he looked at the firmament above.
