The trembling roar rendered the two guests from Second Heaven with gaped lips.
The old man of the two grunted, “Hmm, this is some welcoming, is he a saint or something?”
“We’ve told you before, he is a hero,” said Garuda before he smirked, “Like no other.”
“Oh?” The old man raised one of his brows.
“That’s a big talk,” said Judsah.
“You heard them yourself,” said Garuda as he gestured for the two guests to the exit, “It’s extremely rude not to greet him, you can grant our hero some face, right?”
“Tch! Well played,” said Judsah before he followed Garudan and Yunesia.
The old man frowned before turning around and peeking at the garden below. “Hm…, I cannot believe that someone with zero cultivation would still be alive in this world. Moreover, I can’t see her other hand.”
“Hmm?” the woman under the canopy looked up only to see no one behind the window. She frowned.
“Sister!” a young man with devastating charming features rushed into her view.
“His back!”
“I’ve heard,” the figure smiled before she stepped into the sunlight.
“Hah, stop playing cool older sister,” Jugan shrugged before his goosebumps rose from her death stare. His eyes opened wide as an incoming shadow was about to crash against his face. “Kh!” he was stumped with his eyes closed but felt no impact. He opened his squinted-closed eyes before seeing that a stump couldn’t even reach his nose. His eyes glance turned into that of sorrow as she pulled her arm down.
Karina smiled as she walked past him. “Let’s go.”
Meanwhile inside the carriage that Graham drove.
“Woah, this is even merrier than in my kingdom,” said Luna.
“That’s because this place is now considered a city for tourists,” said Aelina before she looked at Lyon. Despite the glamorous welcome that the people gave him, his eyes wondered at the clouds. “Hey, hero, are you alright?”
“Huh?” Lyon snapped back into reality. “What?”
“You’re daydreaming, darling,” said Selena. “Let me guess, it’s another woman right?”
“Correct,” Cecile answered. “And it’s the one that he wants your help with.”
“Oh, her.”
Lyon sighed, “Yeah.”
“What’s this, the powerful Lyon is actually sad?” Cecile jested. “Don’t tell me you can’t afford to disappoint a lady? You know how small this thing is compared to the numerous let down you gave to those faeries?”
“What?” Lyon raised his brows.
“Oh come on now,” Cecile shrugged. “You can’t be serious in believing that you can satisfy all women that fancy you?”
“Well… I would’ve tried my best.”
“Exactly that,” said Cecile. “You did your best, but not all can be in your hands.”
“You mean on my chest?” Lyon answered with a jestful smile.
“He’s back,” Luna rolled her eyes, “Just like that.”
“Hehehe,” Lyon smiled.
“Master,” Graham called.
“Hm?” Lyon raised his brows.
“There seem to be two figures with a higher presence than usual,” said Graham. “They might want to see you.”
“What makes you think that?” asked Cecile.
“Well, they are looking at us,” said Graham.
“Oh?” Selena stood up.
“Sit down,” Cecile pulled her shoulder down.
“Well that’s too bad, they have to wait,” said Lyon. “I want to meet her as soon as possible.”
“Understood,” Graham nodded before he zipped the road. Despite the clamor of the people around the carriage— either local or non-local —none of them dare to stop their advance as they made it to Garuda’s Mansion or as the people now known as Lyon’s stronghold.
Garuda didn’t stand idly by and went the stair down with smiles and opened arms. “Welcome back!”
Graham nodded with a smile before getting off the coach. He opened the carriage door and disregarded the furrowed brows of Judsah that was still standing at the top of the stairs. The latter leered down at the first figure that came out.
Luna came out with Fenrir in her hand, “Thank you, Graham, and hello Sir Garuda.”
“Ah, long time no see niece Luna,” said Garuda before he raised his brows noticing someone more familiar, “Ah what about this, even niece Aelina is here with us, er…” his eyes looked at Luna and Aelina back and forth. “If I remember correctly…”
“No need for jest, Sir Garuda, we are on a temporary truce,” said Aelina as she stepped out.
( What’s this, two women accompany his arrival? Hmm? ) Judsah raised one of his brows before he whispered to the old man, “The driver is a Godhood Cultivator, those two girls are not even worth mentioning either.”
“I know,” the old man. “Maybe he has a fetish for weak women? I mean, the one we’ve looked at before was crippled, with one hand to boot.”
“One hand? I didn’t notice that.”
“It’s under the canopy of a tree, it would be hard from that angle.”
“It’s good to see you again, Empress,” Garuda bowed.
The two guests from Second Heaven immediately batted their eyes the moment they saw Garuda bowed before Yunesia followed suit.
( Empress? ) thought the both of them together.
“Please, you’re as old as my father,” said Cecile before stepping out.
The tall lady came as striking to the both of them. The lithe figure was nowhere near the other two that had just come out from the carriage.
“Don’t indulge in my father’s humor please,” said Cecile with a smile before taking quick glance at the two guests.
“Hahaha,” Garuda laughed before having his brows raised as another woman stepped out. “Who is this beautiful lady?”
“I’m his wife, nice to meet you,” said Selena with no smile.
“?!” Judsah furrowed his brows. “An Origin God cultivator in this realm?”
“Kh?!” both guests immediately had their hearts thumped the moment they share a glance with Selena. Their goosebumps reached heaven as their pupils shrunk to the same size as that of a single pea before it all vanished in a split second.
“Ah… yes, of course,” said Graham with a wry smile.
( W-What was that? ) thought Judsah before he looked over to the old man and saw that the latter had cold sweat crossing against the creased of his old forehead. Judsah made a deep breath as he looked at Selena in a different light, his chin was lowered.
“What a fearsome woman,” muttered the old man.
“And of course, our hero, Lyon,” said Graham with a brimming smile.
Both of the guests immediately refocused their eyes on the last person inside the carriage. The moment he stepped outside, their brows raised. The person that Mavis’s recommended started to probe him from the moment Lyon’s feet stepped outside.
( Weak… ) thought the both of them at the same time.
“How weak,” muttered Judsah.
“He is…” said the old man, “That woman is better.”
“His cultivation is the same as our disciples,” said Judsah before he sighed, “Clearly that young master is playing a prank on us.”
The old man didn’t respond and looked at Lyon more carefully. ( Something feels off… but I can’t put my finger around him ).
“Garuda, where is she?” asked Lyon.
“Stright to the point, this witch is sad you know,” said Yunesia as she faked a sob.
Lyon smiled, “Yunesia, you’re as beautiful as ever.”
“Oh, you, please don’t do that, my heart could only throb for you once a day, more than that, I might pass out with blood coming out from my orifices.”
“Hahaha,” Lyon laughed before noticing the two from Second Heaven.
“Ah, they are… looking for you,” said Garuda. “They said that they are from the Second Heaven.”
“Second Heaven, I wonder what they want from me,” Lyon muttered before he approached the two of them to their surprise.
( Well, let’s test him ) Judsah smirked before he unravel his presence and crashed against Lyon.
Lyon paused his footsteps before his brows turned furrowed. “What’s the meaning of this?”
“I wonder what you mean?” Judsah smirked.
Selena’s wrist was already grabbed by Cecile before the latter shook her head.
“Is this how you treat the people that you want to meet?” asked Lyon.
“This is nothing for the hero right?” Judsah said with a piece of disdain in his eyes.
“That’s right…”
Judsah’s lungs suddenly lost filling as four pairs of eyes glared him down. The immense presence almost destruct his soul as his heart stopped a beat. His knees dropped altogether with his pupils trembling.
The old man opened his eyes wide before he shouted in mercy, “Pleas—GhK?!”
His throat was pressed by a powerful grip as his entire figure was lifted up. His eyes looked down before he came to realize who it was that made him so vulnerable. ( The driver?! Impossible!!).
Lyon raised his brows before he immediately withdrew his presence altogether. He walked past Judsah who muttered, “Thank you.” before passing out as his body fell down the stairs limply.
“Karina,” Lyon grins before his forehead was flicked by her fingers.
“It’s teacher, remember?” Karina smiled. “And would you look at the mess, honestly!”
Lyon rubbed his forehead with a laugh, “Hahahaha.” he raised his hand before the old man dropped down with concerning coughs.
