In Lyon’s eyes, the permeating aura coming out from the plate that Selena carried was more menacing than the glares of the other five teachers. He gulped at the smile that his wife gave him and the sweet notion behind her glance. He now knew who was the worst cook— out of the two wives. ( Is that thing even edible? ) thought Lyon as he considered the globby thing a threat.
“Uh… yeah,” Lyon nodded with a smile before he said, “That’s all because of the act of service that you’re doing right now, I’m touched beyond measure.”
“Hehe,” Selena smiled as she tilted her head.
The three students were at a loss seeing the two of them seemed to have their own world. The beauty barged in without a knock and gave only steps. Her presence was wonderfully pleasing to their eyes, however, there was nothing hiding that sinister purple aura coming from the masterpiece on the plate that she brought.
“Umm,” Reinhard caught their attention, “Teacher, who is this?”
“Ah? Of course!” Lyon grinned, “You don’t think that I would come to this place alone with an old man like your principal, do you? The answer to that is no. This is my beautiful wife, Selena.”
“You’re married?” Reinhard raised his brows ( To this beautiful woman?! How in the… ).
“Didn’t you hear anything back in the welcoming ceremony,” said Noah as he sighed, “I think that you should check your brain with the physician, they might find something faulty inside.”
“No, that’s not what I meant to say, I mean…” Reinhard gulped. ( Damn she is beautiful, heck, not even the beauty of the Nirvana School could get on her level, what the hell, how did he find someone like that, a dutiful wife to boot! ).
“Selena, great! Since you’re here, why don’t I share the food with my lovely students?” said Lyon. “It would be unbecoming of me not to give them something as a sign of goodwill and also trust for days to months to come.”
The three students were petrified, even Rayus couldn’t keep being a depressed stoic anymore. Now, they finally faced the word betrayal at hand. They just knew him for less than a day and he already set them up for an inevitable end of misery dancing inside their tongues.
“Hmm, are you sure, darling?” Selena raised her brows, “I mean, I haven’t seen you since you eat the breakfast I made, and now the sun is already up, your stomach should be growling by now.”
“Yes, yes, what this big sister said is right!” said Noah in a hurry. “If anything it would be unbecoming of us to eat your lunch since you’re our teacher after all. We should serve you at the very least.”
“Kh!” Lyon had his brows twitched.
“That’s right teacher,” Reinhard nodded after crossing his arms. “There was nothing more unbecoming of a student eating their teacher’s lunch. Don’t worry, we can buy something in the cafeteria, there should be plenty of variety of foods there available for free.”
“There are?!” Lyon exclaimed. ( What the fuck?! Why didn’t that snot Judsah tell me?! ).
For a brief moment, Judsah had his goosebumps rose out of nowhere. He had to stop walking and turned around with heaved breath whilst clutching his chest. “Wha… what was that?!”
“Darling…” Selena had her puppy eyes stroke a shot of glance against him. The dilating pupils finally made Lyon sigh.
Lyon smiled, “Heh, looks like I have really good students, all three of them.”
Lyon looked at Reinhard, Noah, and Rayus in a spare glance and sent their spine chilling as he raised a bit of his chin, though, it was only for a flash. Lyon took the plate out of Selena’s hand before putting it on his desk. He didn’t even wait for the utensils before gobbling them down like it was the last food before he dies. The speed of his jaws was mesmerizing, the three of them couldn’t even keep up, couldn’t even see if he actually chew them at all, or just passed his mouth and throat, straight down to his gut.
“Ah…” Lyon leaned back after a job well down before he felt a swelling gas rebelling upward to his throat. He burped a loud one.
( W-Was that fire?! ) thought Reinhard as he rubbed his eyes. ( Must be my imagination ).
“How is it?” Selena asked.
Lyon gave her an okay sign before turning it into a thumbs up.
“Aha~” Selena skipped as she clapped her hand, “Do you want seconds?”
Lyon’s eyes bulged open as his brows reached the ceiling. ( You have more?! How do you have more? WHY DO YOU HAVE MORE?! ). Lyon shook his head as he rubbed his belly and nodded.
“I see, that’s too bad, I guess I will throw the rest in a nearby lake, the fish would love them,” Selena smiled.
( They gonna die! ) thought all four males in the room.
“Now then,” Selena’s bright radiant eyes turned sharp as she turned and looked at the three students.
( W-What’s with her?! Her bearing suddenly change in the blink of an eye ) thought Rayus as he looked at Selena crossing her arms and rising her chin.
“So you three are all the students that are lucky enough to be taught and guided by my husband, truly your ancestor’s grave must have exploded by now,” said Selena.
( Her personality just changed! ) thought Noah. ( I-I can’t read her at all, wait… does she only acts like that to Teacher Lyon? ).
“I overheard that my darling ask you three to kill some bandits?” asked Selena.
“Y-Yes,” Rayus bravely answered.
“Selena, no, darling,” said Lyon before he grabbed both of her shoulders from behind. “Let me take care of this.”
“En!” Selena nodded with a smile.
“Thank you,” said Lyon before looking at the three, “It seems like I will have to postpone our trust bonding event.”
“Postpone?” Reinhard asked.
“Tomorrow,” said Lyon. “We will go hunt those people that make your life miserable, tomorrow.”
“A-Are you serious?” Rayus gulped.
“Are you doubting my husband?” asked Selena, however, her killing instinct was retracted the moment Lyon gave a little squish on her shoulders.
“Yes, after all, we don’t know where they are yet,” said Lyon. “For now, class is dismissed, and darling,” he looked at her wife, “Can you feed the fish at the lake, I need to go and meet that principle.”
“En!” Selena nodded before going right away.
( Damn, she is really docile around him ) thought Noah before averting his glance back toward Lyon. ( Wait, did he just sentence those fishes to death? ).
“Teacher, are you serious?” asked Rayus.
“How many times do you have to ask that?” Lyon rolled his eyes, “just gather here by the morning tomorrow, not first thing in the morning, but the morning, so that means it could be anytime before the sun peaked its shift.”
Lyon didn’t wait for their response before exiting the classroom and left them to their own thought.
Rayus had his lips slightly gaped.
Noah crossed his arms, “What a guy.” before he noticed Rayus was staring at the exit. “Oi, Rayus, are you alright?”
Rayus blinked before looking at Reinhard, “Do you think he is serious? About killing the bandits?”
“En!” Reinhard nodded firmly. “I found nothing at all that makes me doubt him, though, it’s really something, since when the Mortal World had someone like him.”
Meanwhile at the principal office.
Old Gu was looking at his softly cracked window with keen eyes. He was rubbing his beard as he grunt before he heard a knock.
“Open the door, old man! We need to talk!” said Lyon.
“L-Lyon?!” Old Gu raised his brows, “Oh excuse me, I meant, Teacher Lyon?!”
Old Gu opened the door before Lyon entered in strides as if it was his own bedroom. The latter chose to sit even before the host permitted him. Old Gu was not as surprised anymore seeing his attitude and chose to sit right opposite him.
“Is there a problem, Teacher Lyon?” asked Old Gu.
“I’ve heard the stories,” said Lyon as he spread his legs and crossed his arms. He was taking up space on the sofa before he raised his chin, “One of them is impaired by a group of bandits.”
“I see, so you have heard Rayus’s circumstance.”
“It’s not just his circumstance, is Class Six’s circumstance and I want to know what you know,” said Lyon before he slowly furrowed his brows.
Old Gu sighed before he heard a cracking noise of a fart. He raised his brows and looked at Lyon.
“Hmph,” Lyon stood up with his arms crossed then, he farted yet again. “We will continue this in half an hour. Now, where is your toilet?”
“What…?” Old Gu blinked twice in confusion before the smell corrupted his lungs and shrunk his pupils. “Over there!”
Lyon nodded before going to the toilet and closing the door shut.
