The next day came in a flash and Reinhard found himself in front of the gate alone.
“First come, first serve,” said Reinhard as he put his hands by his waist. His face was brighter than the sun above as he turned around and looked at the empty courtyard. “It’s the day right? He did say today, right?”
“Hahaha!” An obnoxious laugh dimmed Reinhard’s spirit.
He grunted before founding Jasper passing by. Of course, the latter paused just as he predicted.
“I don’t have time for this,” said Reinhard.
“What? I didn’t even say anything,” said Jasper as he shrugged with his chin raised. “What are you doing here? You’re not going to surrender before the fight, are you?”
“You know me more than I know myself,” said Jasper. “What do you think would happen?”
“That’s the spirit,” Jasper smirked. “The graduation would be boring without some ants to stomp.”
“Always trying to pick a fight, give us a rest,” said Noah from the side.
“Noah,” Reinhard called.
“Ah, the other clown, of course, how can I forget,” said Jasper before chuckling.
“Give it a rest, Jasper.”
Jasper’s smiles vanished as Reinhard’s and Noah’s smiles only just blossomed. The former frowned before looking over to see the slacker of Class Six, Rayus.
“Rayus..!” called Jasper.
“You still remember my name?” asked Rayus before he smirked, “Heh, excuse me, of course, you still remember my name, I was the one who defeat you multiple times.”
“Bah! You dare to say that now?!” Jasper crossed his arms and had his chin raised. He smirked, “What do you think would happen if I lay a finger on you now?”
“You can try, but it would tarnish your teacher’s name,” said Rayus. “After all, what’s the joy in defeating a cripple like me?”
“Rayus…” muttered Reinhard.
“Heh, hehehe, hahahaha!” Jasper laughed. “You truly are the best! The clown of clowns!”
Rayus rolled his eyes before gathering with the other two. “Where is he?”
Jasper turned with his arms still crossed, “He might run after seeing you three, being the head of the circus, who would want such a title?? Hahaha!”
Rayus looked at him with his lazy glance, “You talk so much about circus and clowns, Are there some underlying reasons as to why you always make that reference? Perhaps you want to become one?”
“What did you say?!” Jasper looked at him with blaring eyes. “Do you want me to further deepen your misery?”
“Is that a threat?” asked Rayus. “Can you do better?”
“You!”
“Enough Jasper!” said Reinhard as he stepped forward. “If you have something to say, say it to me.”
“Heh, and what can you do?” asked Jasper, “It’s not like you could raise your fist against me.”
“Try me,” said Reinhard.
“Hold it, Reinhard,” said Noah. “It’s not worth it to spend any more energy against him, he will pay the prize for agonizing us.”
“Hahaha, what the hell, hahaha!” Jasper laughed as he clutched his stomach. “That’s the joke of the day! Congratulations!”
“Well, well, well, you four look like you’re getting along.”
The three students from Class Six furrowed their brows as they looked at the one coming.
“Teacher Han, good morning, hehe,” Jasper couldn’t help his laughter.
“Hahaha, your laugh is quite infectious here, can I hear the joke?” asked Teacher Han as he looked at Class Six.
“Hahaha, come on then, you’re not going to reject Teacher Han’s request, will you?” asked Jasper as he laughed louder inwardly.
The three students were put in a tight spot, but after Reinhard share a confused look with Noah, Rayus answered, “We are not making a joke, Teacher Han, with all due respect of course.”
Jasper raised his brows to the ceiling as he heard his answers. He grinned inwardly as to what was to come. He thought that he would comply and make a fool of themselves, but their answer was worth more.
“No joke?” Teacher Han raised one of his brows with his head slightly tilted in a displeasing way. He grunted as if he regained his composure with his arms crossed. “Hmm, what are you doing here anyway? Aren’t you supposed to be training?”
“They are waiting for me,” a familiar figure jolted Han’s goosebumps as his pupils shrunk to a dot in visible seconds. His pupils trembled as his words crashed inside his throat before he saw a figure leisurely walk past him from behind.
The three students had their faces gleaming seeing their teacher finally come into play.
Jasper gulped seeing the teacher but even more so as the second figure came into view.
A devastating beautiful figure appeared out of nowhere with a sword on her waist. Her eyes were as blue as the ocean and her smiles were only directed at the man that just came before her.
“Lyon…” Han muttered before saying with a smile, “Teacher Lyon, I never expected you to come.”
“Is that so?” Lyon raised his brows with a smirk, “You seem to be enjoying yourself.”
“Hah? I wonder what you mean by that?” asked Han before he fake a cough. “And also, I wonder who this beautiful lady is by your side?”
“Haha!” Lyon laughed, “You could train your cough to be a bit more realistic, but, fine, this is of course my wife, I thought you all knew about this already.”
( That’s his wife?! ) thought Jasper and Han at the same time. They had heard that he was coming here to teach and he brought along his wife. However, they never thought that his wife would be so a devastatingly beautiful, kingdom-toppling specimen.
“Your looks of disbelief are quite amusing,” said Lyon. “Now then, if my ears are not messing with me, you said something with a tune that I don’t like toward my students.”
The atmosphere immediately sank as the words fell from Lyon’s mouth. His eyes were not glaring at Han at all, however, the way he smirked and he crossed his arms, made the latter small and threatened.
“W-What..? You must have heard wrong,” said Han as he feigned innocent.
“Are you sure?” asked Lyon, “How about you? Did you hear what he said?”
Jasper was caught off guard before shaking his head in response. ( The way he snuck up on us like that, even Teacher Han was incapable of noticing him coming! What in Paradise’s name is going on?! )
“I see,” Lyon, “Are you guys deaf?”
The two of them were surprised by his direct assault for a second.
“Ha…hahaha,” Han laughed wryly, “That’s a nice jest, Teacher Lyon.”
“Heh, if you say so,” Lyon smirked, “Why are you here, Jasper?”
“I-I—”
“He is with me, we were strolling down the courtyard together,” said Han.
“No—” Rayus was abruptly stopped in his words by a gesture from Lyon, with him showing his index finger.
Lyon resumed crossing his arms as he looked at Han, “Are you sure?”
“Yes, yes, that’s what we did,” said Jasper as he repeatedly nodded. ( Against someone like him, it’s best to play along for now ).
Lyon sighed before opening up his arms and releasing his tension. He reached out for Han’s shoulders before patting them twice then grabbed them. He looked at Han whose eyes were a fusion between confused and scared.
( Why does he look at me in… pity? ) thought Han.
“Listen, Han,” said Lyon as his words courted all the attention of all presented ears. “I mean, I get it, but, you need to hold it in.”
“…What? Hehe, what are you talking about asked?” asked Han as he smiled wryly.
“I mean, you know, teacher and student relationship is a huge scandal. I mean, there is nothing wrong with love, but, like, wait until Jasper graduate you know, so that you have a peaceful life in secret, or just go public, I don’t care either way,” Lyon sighed despite hearing Han’s blood gushing inside his vein. “Please, hold it in, he is still a teenager for fuck sake, just let him experience the world first, you know.”
“Pfft!” All three students spat out at the same time hearing their teacher’s wondrous insults.
Han glared and quickly opened his lips but Selena’s killing intent flared faster before a word even reached the throat. She immediately did the same toward Jasper whose lips were also stuck open.
“I know, I know, it’s a shock, but don’t worry, my lips are sealed, and so are my boys, ain’t that right boys?”
“BhuHAHAHAH!” all three laughed merrily as they rolled on the ground
“Oi! Don’t laugh!” shouted Lyon pathetically.
All three students were back on their feet instantly despite little giggles escaping their mouths.
“Now, are your lips sealed?” asked Lyon.
“Y,Ye,Yes..” said all three of them whilst holding their laughter.
“Good,” Lyon nodded before turning around and looking at Han and Jasper. Their faces could contest the heat from the sun already.
“I’m sorry, Teacher Han, but it seems like it’s time for me, my wife, and Class Six to have a little adventure, perhaps it would last for six months, however, I hope your relationship stays strong during this trying times, just, keep it in your pants until he matures, alright? See ya!” Lyon turned and left with Class Six before the three students burst into laughter once more after just a few steps.
“Oi! Don’t laugh!” reprimanded Lyon.
Selena pulled her killing instinct from the two of them before both of them passed out.
