Graham's entrance sent shivers down the spines of everyone in the banquet hall. The air grew heavy and tense as an ominous aura enveloped the surroundings. Lyon's bloodline, a force long kept dormant, had suddenly awakened, and it was as if the very essence of power had come alive. n0vEluSb.C0m
Yuri, who had recently achieved a breakthrough in his own cultivation, found himself overwhelmed and powerless in the face of Lyon's bloodline eruption. He fell to his knees, clutching his racing heart, unable to comprehend the immense energy coursing through his veins. Fear and confusion clouded his mind, and he struggled to make sense of the overwhelming sensations he was experiencing.
The banquet attendees gasped and murmured in hushed voices, unable to fathom the extent of the power that had been unleashed. The once joyous and celebratory atmosphere was now replaced with trepidation and uncertainty.
As the powerful energy of Lyon's bloodline erupted, the other five young masters of the Sixth Heaven felt the impact in different ways.
The five young masters, Esmeralda, Lyra, Mavis, Azleid, and Ning, stood frozen in shock and awe as they felt the overwhelming surge of Lyon's bloodline power. Their expressions mirrored that of Yuri's, as they struggled to comprehend the immense force that had awakened within their teacher.
Esmeralda's usual air of confidence wavered as she saw Lyon's bloodline erupting. She had witnessed powerful forces in her life, but this was something entirely different. She felt a mix of fear and fascination, recognizing that this newfound power could tip the scales of their future battles.
She forced a smile despite her struggle, "What is going on, Lyon? What are you trying to hide?" Even her twin serpents had their eyes cowering in fear.
Lyra, who was deeply connected to nature and spirits, trembled with both excitement and anxiety. The intensity of Lyon's bloodline affected her empathic abilities, making her feel every surge of emotion coursing through him. She sensed the immense weight of responsibility that Lyon now carried and vowed to stand by his side.
She frowned whilst clutching her chest with one hand and her instrument with the other. Her eyes were in disbelief, "What tremendous destructive aura..." she mumbled.
"Damn... he even got Yuri on his knees," Mavis smiled wryly despite being in the same position as him. He knew that Lyon was special from their first meeting, but now, he knew how terrifying the man was.
"Incredible..." Azleid murmured as he used his rod to gain balance, albeit trembling.
Ning who was at the far back noticed that the other young masters were on their knees like the rest of them. She gritted her teeth, wondering what the monstrosity took to take all six young masters on their knees.
Those who were born with a silver spoon or golden spoon were nothing in front of the great power. The absolute force coming out from the chamber was knocking on their soul.
Rayus who was on the floor thought ( Teacher... is this your true power?! Have you been holding back this whole time? Even against Drogan? You humbled the entire Second Heaven and Sixth Heaven combined without even stepping out of the room! ).
"W-What's going on?" asked Karina.
"I-It seems like the savior has awakened his bloodline, and I'm afraid, it might consume him!" said Kyoko.
"Nooo!" Ryona drew her two axes and crawled toward the chamber. However, after using her axe twice, she lost her energy to move forward. "M-Move, damn it!"
Meanwhile, the seer that was in the courtyard, gasped in disbelief, "Bloodline?"
Selena didn't reaffirm, but her gaze remained on the hall where the tragedy was ongoing.
"Is there any way that I can help?" asked Lily.
"Seer Lily, please don't push yourself, you already need help as much as he does," said the driver.
"There is no way that you can help," said Selena. "You can't even stand at the almighty presence, what can you do but beg to deaf ears?"
Graham held his shock under his skin. The young man in front of him was still the master that he knew, the master that taught him everything, that gave him everything.
"Master, forgive me, but I will do what is must to save you," said Graham before his gaze was fueled with determination.
"Go!" Cecile commanded before Kesya and Assid spread out as Graham locked Lyon directly.
The three of them encircled the man with one step distance in between.
"Forgive me, emperor, but I need to go full assault at this distance," said Kesya as her eyes shifted to purple, and her ears grew longer. Her hair turned completely black and she gained a boost in her height. "After all, this frenzy is the only boon that I have facing your unfair bloodline."
Assid put away his glasses and his gloves. "Your Majesty, I hope the three of us are enough."
"Knock him out!" said Cecile as she extended her arm forward.
The three powerhouses moved in unison toward the man who was hardly aware of the situation he was in.
As Graham, Assid, and Kesya went all out to attack Lyon, he seemed unaware of his surroundings. However, in an instant, Lyon's instincts took over, and he responded with astounding swiftness and precision.
Graham, with the force of a mountain behind his fist, lunged at Lyon, intending to deliver a devastating blow. But Lyon, seemingly anticipating the attack, swiftly countered, parrying Graham's strike with ease.
Assid, taking advantage of the moment, aimed for Lyon's blind spot, targeting the core of his meridian. However, Lyon's keen awareness allowed him to turn around in the nick of time. With lightning reflexes, he used his middle finger to stop the momentum of Assid's middle finger, leaving Assid astonished at the countermove.
Amidst the flurry of movements, Assid noticed something peculiar in Lyon's eyes – they were vacant as if his consciousness had momentarily drifted away. This slight hesitation gave Lyon the opportunity to land a devastating stomp toward his chest. The hit connected, but Assid was not propelled away.
Kesya, ever the fiercely agile combatant, was the one behind Assid's back, supporting him and using him. With a wicked grin, she utilized the momentum of the stalemate and quickly delivered a powerful side-body blow to Lyon. The impact of her strike was fierce, and without wasting any time, Kesya spun around and delivered a swift kick to Lyon's head, sending him hurtling towards the wall.
"1-0 for me, Emperor," said Kesya with a grin as the pile of rubbles buried him.
Selena arrived at the scene before standing next to Cecile, observing the fight from the door. Rui stood on Selena's shoulder, her eyes fiercely gazing at the rubbles. "Explain to me how his bloodline works."
Cecile began explaining, "The Torga bloodline, he once activated it before. It was the embodiment of omnipotent from the research that we gathered at the time, however, it was false. The mechanism of his bloodline is quite mysterious, but from the observation, we concluded that those who are weak will be considered equal to one another. Those who are able to stand will have their power diminished to his level when they are near him."
"What?" Shen was in disbelief.
"I don't get it," said Sun as he shook his head, "Does that mean that those sweeping on the floor with their knees behind us are considered equal to one another? I have no clue."
"If the young master fought with one of Lyon's new students, they would find it hard to believe how equal their raw strength becomes," said Cecile with a smirk.
"You mean...?!" Sun had his eyes opened wide.
"A level playing field?" asked Bapho.
"Fairness," said Selena. "That's the bloodline that darling has, the power of fairness."
"I like the term equal better," said Cecile.
"I see," Rui answered, "However, I can see one problem with this."
"Yes," Cecile nodded. "All things equal, he's better. Every. Single. Time."
Lyon got up from the rubble as if it was nothing, despite his head being struck. He stood before stepping down the debris. His gaze was as if he was seeing Graham, Kesya, and Assid in front of him, but they knew he wasn't.
"So it's a number's game then," said Rui as Cecile and Selena stepped up.
Kesya's grin widened as she saw Lyon rising from the rubble, seemingly unscathed by the devastating kick she had delivered. Her eyes glinted with a mix of surprise and excitement. "Impressive," she remarked with a sly grin, "That kick would normally be enough to bring down even a seraph."
Lyon was unresponsive with his shoulders slouched. He stretched his neck a little before a satisfying crack ensued.
"I always wanted to land that kick against you in my dark-elf frenzy form, and not even that is enough to knock you out," Kesya was brimming with unhealthy joy. "Truly, a level playing field is our tune together!"
"UItilze everything he taught you!" said Cecile as Kesya led the attack.
