Chapter 1: The Start

The kingdom of Falthron, had seen better days. It was a kingdom that had been through many wars, and had seen their buildings and walls, rebuilt, time and time again. 

Burnt down homes and buildings lined the roads, smoke still floating up into the dark bleak sky. Citizens crying and begging to save their loved ones, even they, themselves knew that there was no hope. Corpses mangled and burnt strewn everywhere. The healers could barely keep up. 

The soldiers and knights were either silent or sleeping. Hope, vacant from their eyes. The nobility didn't escape either, with several families having been wiped off the face of the world. 

Smouldering craters left in what would've been their proud mansions and land. 

The palace, the place of the rulers, was barely standing, with its towers cut off, and the walls blown off. A small number of servants were still alive, while the majority were missing or dead. Within the vast throne room, the bodies of the royals were torn to shreds, barely even being recognizable. The throne was still covered in glossy red blood, yet still shone with its gentle gold. 

In the middle of the room, stood a single female, one donned in a full set of metallic armour. The once proud armour had been torn off, leaving bits and pieces on. Her long cascading white hair was matted with blood, and her prized heavy sword, the falling star, was broken into pieces. Her beautiful face, once said to be able to make empires fall, was covered with blood, as she was missing her left eye. But her right eye, her right eye was staring directly at her family.

Empty 

Soulless 

At the entrance stood two knights, one holding an elegant style, covered in gold, and the other covered in pointed and rough styled armour, coloured in crimson red.

Not a single sound was heard, as the girl, let a wail, full of anguish. 

She fell to her knees, screaming her soul out, tears flooded down her face, as she held the bodies of her family. 

It was the start, the birth of the ‘Queen Of Vengeance’.
