After Dhampy's name again changed from 006 to Blood Executioner (006) — other than a headache trying to wrap her head around this concept, another thing appeared in Lilith's mind. A Chain Mission.
DING!
[NEW MISSION (CHAIN)]
Time Limit: 30 days (29 Days: 23 Hours: 55 Minutes: 47 seconds)
[Chain Mission: Temporary Domain #1]
[] Recreating and creating life is an inevitability. Several other sentient beings attempt to make life and play God. It is understandable, but this time, the darkness beyond is leaking into Reality. This being threatens the balance of life itself. Without the High-Being of Creation, Luceer of the three High-Seraphs wants you to act as her Herald.
[] Mission Details: A pseudo-daemon's born from an unnatural Evolutionary Matrix. The Matrix is experiencing a harrowing change as the beings of the darkness corrupt their way inside. Secure the new being of "darkness" and find out what is happening.
Requirements for Passing:
[] Secure the being of Darkness (only alive).
Penalty: Have System Update Rejected, The seizure of the Seraph's Feather, rejection of any Hellborn Lineage or access to Hell Archives for the next year.
The mission was straightforward. Lilith just needed to locate the anomaly that appeared from out of nowhere and then examine the beast. She had one month.
[This mission is a freebie from the High-Seraph Luceer, a month to locate something that we found?]
[NOTE: The being must be secured at all cost. (further information is classified.) - Luceer.]
Alpha and Lilith had long detected the anomaly nearby Dhampy's area. It was the one messing with the Evolutionary Matrix in Dhampy's body, inciting a minor disturbance of the System Connection.
Due to this, the System and User pair were confident that they could secure the package. By then, they'd be able to get what they needed to both survive.
The System and its user were already conspiring against the higher realms for their own good. They salivated at the sight of such meaty rewards—
[Rewards]
[] Update Agreement — (Luceer personal crafting)
[] Instantaneous Evolution/Mutation — (Luceer personal crafting)
[] Hell's Archive (Three Month Access)
[] Hell's Matrix (Three Month Access)
Truly a mouthwatering offer.
It could be done in a few hours, yet the Devil seemed to have gotten drunk and gave her a month.
'Hell is generous!' Lilith laughed.
If they completed the mission, Lilith would get Luceer's personally upgraded System tuned to her desires. According to Alpha, Luceer, in Earth Myth, had the name Lucifer, the Devil who specialized in tricking others.
In many worlds, she's called the Devil, but she's the Goddess of Innovation in some.
Luceer is indeed an intelligent being, the smartest next to the Goddess. The different Systems of different Races, the balancing of power that doesn't quite match up, the languages, terrains, habitats, weakness, and so much more were under her rule.
She was even the one ruling Hell. The domain of the souls.
If the Universe was a Game, then Luceer was its moderator. During the Dark Ages of the Universe, she formed many pacts, now known as contracts to researchers and inventors, to create several mana-related gadgets.
Such an existence offered Lilith the chance of a personal system Overhaul. If that happens, Lilith would have an even better chance of survivability.
She was in desperate need of a boost in strength or just even more trump cards.
'There are a lot of unknown circumstances happening around me. With Dhampy's situation and Dark Heart, I still have yet to know, and that goddamn satellite beam that almost killed us.'
Lilith may seem like she's in control, but the truth was the opposite.
She's far past desperation.
A simple proof was that she already initiated contact with humans despite the apparent lack of proper leverage. Originally, Lilith would have wanted for the Gargankong's subjugation to be left for another time.
Lilith initially had a simple layered plan.
A very simple plan that takes at most three years to complete.
It was supposed to be the first phase in taking over the Stronghold.
However, several variables stopped her from doing such a thing.
The lack of funding on both human currency and System Points (SP), Racism, Innate hate, and the fact that they were daemons.
Add the Gargankong's army threatening to take over the Valley in two or so months, as well as the satellite bullshit that would most likely attack the Valley if the Gargankong was to be brought down by an organized group of daemons.
In the Valley, Lilith can either wait to die at the hands of monkeys throwing rocks or die in the hands of monkeys pushing buttons.

Escape from the Valley was impossible due to the Scorching Forest at the south being closely monitored. She and the Village will be captured, killed, and turned into handbags.
East of them was nothing but an ocean that's more visible to satellites. West was a Human Sector. North was a raging ape.
'Even if we miraculously escaped to the Scorching Forest, we would still be found, then we would be captured, killed. On the off chance we win, the satellite will say Fuck You as congratulation and then be killed. Then back to waiting too long, and we are back at the Ape problem flinging its shit.'
Lilith was forced to make her move too early than she would have wanted with all these unwanted variables. Her forces were still premature, their training insufficient, and the addition of the Werewolves made it hard for them to move.
She even had to alter the first meeting of the daemons and humans.
It was a very risky plan, and because of Lilith's frailty, if things go sideways, she won't be able to save her own people, much less herself. Even if this worked, what then?
She didn't need friendly relations with humans. She needed to rule over them in less than five years!
To increase their chances of survivability, she needed to know every crevice and cracks in the system to make it so that she could maximize her planning.
The System she currently had was unique only because it allowed access to different forms and gave her extra status. In the long run, it would tip the Universe's balance, making her overpowered, but that's not hers to think about.
The problem was now, where Lilith was slowly being backed into a wall without an escape. But if Luceer modifies the System to Lilith's desire, then the little Priestess would be able to see the invisible special skills, and if she gains access to Hell's Archives, that has the weaknesses of daemon races, skills… Lilith guarantees her success would skyrocket to 40% even with the unknown variables.
For Alpha, getting the reward would allow her to laze around for a while… that's the only reason other than her own survivability increasing.
The two wanted to get the upgrade and it was already in the bag!
However-
"I punched a hole through it…"
Lilith began sweating buckets.
***
~Dying!?~ Lilith almost fell hearing Dhampy's words.
"I apologize, boss, but it attempted to kill his wife, our target of protection and—"
~Wait, what do you mean… does that mean… you are losing me with the story.~ an audible internal sigh somehow reached Dhampy, ~Give me the briefest form of explanation if you know what's going on… no lies.~
Stern, Dhampy could feel the pressure coming from the other side of the link. The carefree and smiling Priestess lost her cheerful demeanor.
Like always, Dhampy could feel the weight of Lilith's emotions at the thought of losing a life, 'How kindhearted.' She smiled.
"The husband turned to a daemon and lost control; I fought back and currently still have my hands in his stomach."
~I see....~
"Boss?"
~If he's a daemon, then it means he has higher vitality. Don't pull your hand out if you can use your blood manipulation to circulate the blood flow to his organs and brain. You can leave the lower body; it doesn't matter if he loses his lower half; what's important is keeping his life. Can you do that?~
"… I can, but even if I do that, my mana won't last for long; I apologize, Boss, but I can only pull that off for five minutes maximum. But, if the Priestess only wants information from him, I can turn him to undead and—"
~No, don't do that. That's our last resort. I'll get there, no matter what, do not worry, just keep him alive. I have a plan…~ Lilith's voice echoed in Dhampy's head right before the call was disconnected.
'So, the Boss wants something with the—"
SWOOSH!
SLASH!
Dhampy's face turned sour after dissipating the black fireball aimed at the Wendigo's head, "And here I thought you loved your husband. What do you think are you doing?"
"You're just hurting him more! I'd rather see him dead than suffer more than he should." Mirsha had a dark expression hearing her husband groan in pain.
The darkness coming from her eyes was ignited; her entire being was shrouded in black flames.
Mirsha cried tears of blood from beyond the dark flames.
Dhampy sighed, remembering that Mirsha was not a follower who could hear the Boss' voice, "Don't anything funny, human. I don't plan on killing your husband, at least not anymore."
"…what do you mean?" Mirsha still doubted her, but she stopped her flames from raging.
"The necessary component for him to take over the Black Spirit is no more… but there's a chance for him to live."
"Re… really?" Mirsha felt weak on the knee; she fell down as the intensity of her fire slowly dissipated.
"I can't do anything for her, but my Boss. She can talk to a God; she might be able to do something for him."
Her hands trembled, and uncontrollable tears fell, "Tha…thank… you… thank you… thank you."
