This journal is a comprehensive documentation of what happened to the village outside the eyes of the Priestess.
I begin my observation on the First Day of the Priestess' Comatose State. After the descent of the Phoenix Breath, the Priestess sent us floating on the ocean to escape death.
With the Dracas' hard work, we managed to find land after some time, and on a shore, we managed to dry ourselves and breathed a sigh of relief.
Two days passed.
The Priestess had yet to open her eyes. Her wounds have already healed, but the harrowing sight of her bloodied image was still freshly etched in our minds.
The child we ought to protect sacrificed herself to keep us alive. Everyone put their hands together to pray to the Goddess. Many cried and even more roared in anger.
When the Priestess groans in her sleep, everyone gnashes their teeth. Seething with rage, they directed it to the humans, thinking it was all their fault.
I could have stopped them… but instead, I led the charge without regard to the consequences.
I joined them in hating the enemy, and after the passing of another day, we met Hunters who requested our heads. There seemed to be human settlements around these shores.
Everyone celebrated.
Three were only four Hunters, their laughter reached the ears of the patrolling members of the army, and without thinking, the Ogres and Combat Pixies went and argued who would take revenge.
But amid their quarreling, it was Sylva who drew the first blood. Many wished to raise their desires, but Sylva's eyes made them unable even to stutter.
She killed the humans, and they rip them to shreds before grinding their bones. The Hunters did not return, and in response, more and more Hunters came our way, and before long, a C+ Extermination Rank got assigned to us.
After killing over 50 men and women Hunters alike, we finally decided to escape the shores by using Sylva's Marked Teleportation and the [Branch Trick].
We moved several times and accumulated a body count of over 300. We only leave when we need to, utilizing the Branch Trick time and time again.
We planned on doing the same for when we reached the Scorching Forest, but Sylva grows tired with every long-distance Transfer. Her Space Manipulation also weakens with every travel, and before long, we lost the ability to move.
Stuck in the Scorching Forest, we decided to continue killing, contemplating if we could further redden the crimson earth.
