This journal is a comprehensive documentation of what happened to the village outside the eyes of the Priestess.
Sylva had risen to the ranks of the strongest warriors. She was only a LVL 40 daemon, but none disrespected her.
Her body count had risen to the double digits and was steadily approaching the three-digit mark. She was the most bloodthirsty when it comes to taking human lives.
She was getting more and more efficient with her daggers, stabbing the most vital points with surprising dexterity.
Though still not a master, she could execute Assassinations pretty well. However, because of her elements and attribute having the striking color of gold, she considered changing her course from assassination to a brawler or a swordswoman.
It was good to see how she's improving not only in her skills but also in maturity. She's far more capable than she had ever been. She left to ask Chief on the ways of brawling… though she could have just come to me for tutelage; after all, I have taught Chief and the others everything they know.
I am the best candidate to teach her. But that was her choice... I didn't have the right to say anything... so I asked her.
"I need to get stronger so that I can further utilize my skills. I lack in hand-to-hand combat, so I have to become better for the future." She said with a broad smile.
"Do you want me to teach you?"
"No, I do not want to bother Big Sis so I will learn from Chief. You are already doing so much for us, and you are already training Brother Luck and Scar as well as the Army and the Shadow Troops. I don't want to be a burden to you as well, Big Sis."
"No, you really don't have to be so considerate…" and she left already before I could finish. But for her to care about me was a great testament that she had grown to love me further… what a lovely child Sylva was.
And so, Sylva continued her training to become stronger. But I did notice that Sylva had been gaining the reverence of the younger daemons these past few days. She's becoming a symbol of hope for the weaker daemons.
Oh yeah, I had Chief train ten times harder than average for the next week because I also care about his improvement… there was no other reason attach to this thought. He’s my favorite student at the moment.
