THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!

BAM! BAM! BAM!

THWACK! BAM! CRACK!

Dust fell from the wall as the discoloration cracked and crumbled.  After clearing away some of the brittle pieces, you peered into the hole to get a better view of the inside.

At first there was nothing, but as you panned your view from left to right, you suddenly gave a shout of fright. There was a skeleton on the right!

After calming yourself down, you steadied your mind and peeked at the skeleton once more. This time, with a closer inspection, you found that the decaying boned corpse was clutching tightly onto a piece of paper.

Thinking that the piece of paper could be something important, you reached in and yanked the paper out of the skeleton's fingers. Who knew how long this piece of paper was stuck inside the wall with the skeleton? Luckily, the piece of paper was still in decent condition and the contents were readable.

You looked at the contents and found out that it was a Sudoku puzzle. Oof! Time to rack your brains again.

Suddenly, Temmie appeared with a warning. "Supernatural particles detected! Prepare yourself in case something bad shows up!"

"What?" You tensed up and looked around you. "Where have you been? Why didn't you show up when that female monster appeared in the toilet?"

"Temmie did. Temmie was just enjoying a show." Temmie replied.

"What?" You asked, a bit confused on what Temmie was talking about.

"What?" Temmie asked, a bit confused on what you were confused about. "Oh, never mind. Here it comes!"

Bluish gray particles converged into a round lump before you. As many particles collided with one another, the lump began to solidify until a soul formed. The soul was that of a middle-aged man with glasses and a thick beard.

The soul looked around it before grimacing as if remembering a past horrifying moment. It examined itself upon realizing something was different and calmly confirmed its current state.

The soul looked at you and saw the piece of paper in your hand. "Alex Jones...rank Rookie. You must be the newbie?"

"Rookie...." You muttered as a sudden realization hit you. "You were also participating in this escape? What is going on? How did we get here?"

"I-I don't remember." The soul shook its head. "Quick, I'm running out of time. You must solve the Sudoku puzzle and escape. Look at the green!"

"Escape? How? How do I escape? Tell me clearly!" You asked urgently.

"M-My time is almost up! No! I-I don't want to go! I don't wanna!" The soul looked at you with fervent eyes and hoarsely gasped. "Not across but down! I-Is it in the middle or on the top? I-I don't remember. What's left? Nothing's left! "

The soul burst into particles once more and all was quiet. All you could think about was the soul's final words. Taking note of this 'clue', you began working on the puzzle.

What should you do next?
