Chapter 61: Check the Wall (I)

You decided to check on the wall. Your first instinct was to check on the discoloration. Even if it was a red herring, at least you checked it and crossed it out of your mind.

You reached up and touched the discoloration. It feels...different. It feels kind of fresh and softer compared to the rest of the wall. You rapped on the wall to check the material's compactness before knocking on the discoloration to see if there was any difference.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

WHAP! WHAP!

The sounds were different! The sounds coming from the discoloration seemed to indicate that it was hollow...as if something was hidden behind it. You balled up your fist and let loose a solid punch on the discoloration.

BOOM!

Although it didn't hurt and you didn't lose any health from the counter force, you weren't able to make a dent on the discoloration either. You needed a hammer or a blunt tool to knock through it. But, where could you find such a thing?
