Chapter 3: Prologue 3

And so Once again, the creation shakes and screams welcoming of the birth of new gods that walks among mortals.

 

I summon countless golden swords in the sky and fall piercing into all my foes. like raining swords they thrust hundreds of demons, none were safe. On the ground, I willed the red ether fusing with blood shape into a spiked whip and slash the enemies above them. In this very moment, The Valley of the Mists became my domain. In my domain I never lose, I always Triumph. countless corpses were falling, blood spilled like rain.. I can't comprehend my actions.. I was in trance.. i.. laughing... laughing at my foes and myself.. in the crowd of war i was dancing alone.. 

Thirst for more of this euphoria.. Then I look upon the demons, they all kneel .Did they expect me to give them mercy?? It is laughable.

 

Before I end them I see some of the demons crying to protect their friend from me, while others I saw some grieving for their lost ones… most of them look grief and acceptance to the fate they will receive from me. They all the same… because no one leads,Teach them they become wild. They fight to survive, they eat each other to survive, they are a rejected race. how similar they are to me. If I eradicate them I am the same as other rulers, a hypocrite. I stand on changing the way and yet I slaughtered senselessly on the race that needed to change the most.

 

In my confused state of what I must do to them, Raphael came. He was not in a good state. He informed me, The council of the principality arrested him, but he could break and run as fast as he could to rescue me. He finds they wanted to eradicate all legion XIII as they see us not useful anymore after the successful coalition between principality of nam and the dwarfs race. This was blindside of me, i should have known…now i must  pay the price..

 

The greed, the proud, the ignorant of all this useless war. I need to change it.

 

I looked upon all kneeling demons and I decided.  I took them as my new family. I teach, lead and protect them. In return, they bestowed on me the ruler of all demon races, an empress of Hellheim. I would subjugate all the demon races as one Empire. and Soon, a new powerhouse will come and shake the creation into its foundation.

 

60 Years has passed.. from a small land we grew into an empire with harsh laws and order. Punishment must be severe.. fear is needed to bring order and order will bring peace... Raphael passed the tribulation and found his third word of power... we are immortal beings... with unlimited power.. the very same power with leaders of other races..

 

With my power, our empire became larger.. the other faction can't ignore me no more.. they called me a demon queen, the single entity who reigned in the east... and so the balance of power was shifted again... With the demons and hybrids united under me in the east..The Empire of Pandemonium.

 

Elvhen still reigns in the north.. The elvhen queen Mythal as their ruler with the holy council in her back..The Principality of Nam and Dwarfs coalition started to give retaliation on my advances, however futile that is….. their Coalition called The United Front League... The dragon race is still immovable in the south.. reign in mountainous terrain.. Lord dragneel as their single ruler…

 

War has come and gone.. treaty and betrayal.. even the power is shifted the condition is still the same.. and so ... in the present with my alliance with the elvhen race we come into conclusion to make a high council to manage and unite all of the races.. Peace will last and... each of the rulers will be the guardian to protect it... and ... I....will be sacrificed....

I stare.. and wonder at my city... while reminiscing of my past.. how i ended up here.. i chuckle.. satisfaction smile on my face.. at last a bit more and peace will come eternal peace!!! My blood feels it as changes come.

 

Then I heard footsteps, silence and light as ever… the guards bowed to him, even after more then 90 years raphael still wears the scarf i gave to him when we were a child…

 

"Your Majesty.."

 

"Hello to you my dearest brother,How was the dragon city capital? are you succeeded?"

 

"Lord Dragneel  is….agree.. with the term.. The Divine Summit will be held in the Soko island at the Ba'li lake"

 

I look at Raphael.. and I see some uncomfortable looks on him.i know that look too well, he didn't like the plan i decided..

 

 "You are… disappointed?”

 

"Every being in our empire will sister!!  you will relinquish your title and sacrifice yourself to eternal sleep...if this summit is."

 

"It is time Rael.. you are my only dearest existence to me.. I trust you with my life... that is why you must lead our empire to millennia peace.. My Existence is chaos, the bringer of change.. now we will have peace, i am not nee  "

 

" What about me !!! You leave me.. do you not pity me.. left alone in this damn world for eternity!!!"

 

"You.. are not alone anymore... People love you.. our people.."

 

"And They also they loved you"

 

I smiled when I heard his words, I can still remember each of my subjects when they met me. the stuttering in their words, the heartbeat, the small shake on their fingers…

 

"No.. they do not love me... They fear me... I could see in their eyes.The stability of our empire is fragile if it depends on fear alone. The wisdom you have will strengthening our empire to the end of times "

 

" I......"

 

" you should know me better.. I never back down my words..."

 

"What if they betray your trust!! they only believe in what gain they will have!"

" rest easy.. with the forbidden spell and the help of ancient artifacts i had.. they can't break The Rules and Binds.. which is the toll with my death..."

 

The Ritual that I and raphael concoct to binds all races into some rules of engagement. the

written rules that become one with creation. As long as creation exists the rules will remain. it will bind all the races into it forever. It needed a lot of powersource, so sacrifices were inevitable.

 

"I Am still not convinced on this vee please listen.. just for once"

 

“If you disagree on this why do you help me in the first place”

 

“It's Because i don't know the sacrifices  needed for it!!! if i knew i would never agree on this!!!”

 

I smiled, felt happy to be loved.. and sad to leave him forever, i knew this will be the hardest thing to let go… however..

 

“It is done.. brother… , It needs to be”

 

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.. his eyes wandered outside thinking… I knew too well of him.. he will not give up on this and will always try to talk me into this again…

 

"................then.. could we.. walk.. alone together... one last date??"

 

" pfftttt hahahahha how many years has it been? for 90 years old you still act like a  little brother"

 

" I am always.... your... little brother"

 

"My dear brother.... I would love to... so you have a plan I suppose?"

 

" As always, lazy to choose where and leave it to me…”

 

“You always been good choosing places, why did i bother dear brother”

 

“I heard a unique fluctuation aether around mount Krakatau this month, it created a beautiful aurora on the sky”

 

"The legendary aurora Ooooohhh... I never saw them!!.... see you were good at choosing places i hope you were as good at picking girls.. hows on that, you never told me your romance??."

 

“Heh, rich coming from you, at least I'm better at something than scaring half the creation in fear.”

heh, he still dont let that go hm, well, it doesn't mean our hand is really clean on that, our espionage department fueling the unrest of racism in their kingdoms and toppling the leader of humanity at that time. revolution they called it. lots of civilians killed by their own government until the chaos stops. Which weakened their territory for half century.

 

"You will never let that go eh, even they are your own race"

I smile sadly.. ahh the hatred… When we rose in power we tried to investigate the massacre of his family. and we found that because political maneuver by his own uncle.

 

"....... do you still wear my gift for you?"

 

" I was surprised, you gave me a necklace yesterday. Is this one of your random things you do?"

 

“ hey, i give you gifts a lot don't pretend i never do”

 

“I never said that, i only said “random” things you do”

i smile and nodding my head proudly

“ I never taste defeat, brother”

 

he laughed and his eyes looking at the necklace i wear and to my eyes.. a sad looking eye.. I wonder what words he will say to coerce me into canceling our plan.

 

"Dear Sister.. .......I beg your forgiveness... for two things.. I want to confess..."

 

something isn't right.. i narrowed my eyes and looking at him 

" I always forgive you dear brother… but what did you do…"

" From the start.. I never do believe that peace you dream of will come. The changes you make are the reason what we have today. they feared you so they behave. just like dogs fear their master and become wild when the master is gone. The ritual will not bound them as long as other heavenly rulers live. IT IS A BLANK HOPE YOU SEEK SISTER!

ahhh.. my heart ache, looking at his watery eyes crying… just like how i first met him.. crying on his mother corpse…. i really mess him up.. but..

I could glance at a peaceful picture there... people helped each other even though they has different race.. happy smile on every kids... father who works for their own family and come home with smile on his face.. mother who protect their child.. give kindness and warm... i can't make them feel what we feel.. war... is a sad thing... that is why... even if it is fake purpose or hope i will be glad to sacrifice myself..."

 

i hope, i hope he accepts my feelings… but it seems love can never be predicted. i smile sadly and raise my hands to hug him.. the warmth of his body.. comfort me and yet I feel saddened…

the necklace around my neck is shining and starts to constrict me. the aether around the air sucked. my body can't move.. I can't.. it can't be.. the essence of my own soul slowly sucked on this very necklace… i could see the ritual pattern on the sky… this, this is not something you made in one day no.. he.. he planned all of this.. for how long….

" Dear brother..... you.. cannot be... no..."

 

my heart was pierced.. I feel this is just a bad dream!!.. he .. i still can't believe..no please not you too... my dear brother..my tear start to swell.. why… you betrayed me..

 

" I am sorry my dearest sister... no…my love... I can't stand the idea of you dying... that is why... this necklace will protect you and you will be reborn in a new whole world I made."

Slowly I can't feel my body.. my view became darker.. I felt powerless…

 

"..... shhh.. sleep my love...rest.... I will destroy this world that brings you many harm and nightmares.. I will destroy and remake it anew... for you....
