Chapter 36: Chap 35 – The god who reincarnated me

I woke up in a strange place with old TVs that didn't follow any physical laws.

I couldn't move well or use mana. I don't know where that crazy person sent me, but it's not good. If I'm going to get away from here, I should start looking for a way to escape.

As I tried to find my way around, some TVs started to turn on.

They played a strange sound that sounded like they were trying to play pictures but couldn't because something was in the way.

I suddenly realized that I was staring at the TV screen.

I tried to speak, but no sound came out.

I was terrified, but I still tried to speak.

The screen started to show strange pictures of an angel.

I lost myself more and more until I heard a crack. Then a hole opened up in nothing, and a boy came out of it. "That's a pretty cliche, isn't it?" The boy said it in a silly way.

"I guess so," I answered.

He looked about the same age as me, but he had the air of a god about him.

"Whose are you?" I asked in surprise.

The boy waited a few seconds before replying, "Adam, the God who reincarnated you, but it was expected that you wouldn't know me because we were never introduced."

"Wait, so you really aren't human? You're a demon?" I was completely surprised.

He sighed, "I'm a god, not a demon or an angel, just a god. These kids today don't understand anything else."

"So why did you bring me here? What is this place?" I asked.

"You were humiliated and caught in an illusion," he said, pointing to the TVs. "But since I protected his memories, he can't put them in those things."

"Whoa! That means I'm safe!" I shouted happily.

"Not exactly," Adam replied, sounding annoyed. "You've already seen how powerful the illusions are. It won't take long before your mind starts to break apart too.

"Wait," I said, starting to feel hopeless, "So does that mean I'm going to die?"

"Calm down, kid, let me explain, and simmer down," he scolded me. "This is a prison made entirely of magic. There's no real reason to imprison someone unless you want them to suffer forever."

"Is there a way to get free?" I asked, hoping against hope.

"All we have to do is break the part of the spell that keeps you here, which is the orb."

"Why don't you do it if it's that easy?"

"Listen, I can't get involved in people's lives, so I'm already overdoing it when I came here to save you and even teach you...

"Sorry..." I was very embarrassed and said I was sorry.

"Anyway, what matters now is breaking the seal."

"How am I supposed to do that?" I asked, feeling desperate.

As soon as I closed my eyes, I saw a clear image of the sphere surrounding me.

It was like looking directly into a black hole, but it also reminded me of the one I'd created myself using my own powers.

Adam continued to talk to me about destroying the seal, and after a few minutes of concentration, the barrier vanished.

"Now you need to go there and get rid of what's trapping you."

"But that monster will still be there when I get back. What do I do? "I can't beat him."

I was able to get out of the illusion after I broke the orb.

Around me, I saw Reize with blood on her face and, next to her, the man who had just beaten me.

They must have fought for quite a while because Reize was covered in scratches and bruises. Her hair was matted together with dried sweat, and her clothes were torn apart from the fight.

When I saw Reize in that state, my blood started to boil, my anger started to take over, and then I felt a strange magic rush through me.

"Come on, I need to help you kill this useless guy before I go back to my darling. He promised me I could do whatever I want with him," a woman with black hair and red cheeks said.
