Jiang He scrounged around every cabinet for half a day, but all he found was five packs of cucumber seeds and three packs of napa cabbage seeds.
“Aren’t there seeds of other vegetables in my house?”
Jiang He was surprised.
It seems that his tastes had always been singular, only ever swapping between cucumbers, eggplants, and carrots. Though he had kept insisting on getting more vegetables to eat, something always cropped up every other day and he would never have the time to buy seeds for other vegetables.
Even the napa cabbage seeds were bought to make salted cabbages.
“Whatever. My farm has a high yield anyway, so these five packs of cucumber seeds and three packs of napa cabbage seed would be enough for thousands of students and teachers at the Martial Arts Academy.”
Since each cucumber seed pack had a hundred seeds and each seed would produce ninety-nine cucumbers, each pack meant 9,900 cucumbers, making it a total of around 30,000 catties if each cucumber weighed three catties.
In other words, five packs of cucumber would yield over 150,000 catties of cucumbers, meaning that the teachers and students of the Martial Arts Academy would each receive several dozen catties each. Moreover, it would improve rank-one martial artists up to rank-two pinnacle, and most importantly, it would improve their spirit—something which might help the martial artists with above-average spirits awaken super powers.
As for the napa cabbage…
Since Jiang He had not planted that before, he would have to learn about the yield and effects only after planting it.
It was dawn right now, but Jiang He did not feel drowsy at all.
Calling out to Dumbo and having the dog plough the ground with its Earth-type powers, he sprinkle one whole pack of cucumber seeds.
There was no helping it since most of the farm was planted with rice, leaving not many empty spaces aside from little patches…
“And I’ve previously thought that nine Mu worth of ground is vast, but it doesn’t seem enough now… guess I should level the farm after gathering this wave of Farm Points.”
Since the Farm EXP had long since reached the upper limit, Jiang He could now view the farm ascension requirements.
[100 superior-grade spirit stones.]
[Two 1,000 catties portions of Feral Emperor flesh.]
[One Yuan Spirit Daemon Pellet.]
Jiang He could not help feeling stumped when he saw the farm ascension requirements…
Superior-grade spirit stones?
He understood that Orirocks were basically spirit stones albeit with a different name. Still, it was only certain that spirit stones would have different grades, with the most common grading being inferior, mediocre, superior, or premium.
“It seems that the Orirocks are an inferior grade of spirit stones. Still, this wouldn’t be difficult since the various secluded immortal sects would have superior grade Orirocks, and I just have to buy it from them… Eh?”
An idea suddenly occurred to Jiang He just then.
As his farm leveled up, he would only earn fewer Farm Points if he kept planting Orirocks.
But what if he planted superior-grade Orirocks? Could he keep gathering Farm Points with pointing Orirocks?
That idea… was possible!
And even if superior-grade was not enough, he could plant premium-grade Orirocks.
“I could give that a try.”
Jiang He appeared thoughtful, though his gaze fell upon the third ascension condition for his farm then—one Yuan Spirit Daemon Pellet. Chuckling to himself and shaking his head, he complained, “What are you doing, System? A Yuan Spirit daemon? Where am I supposed to find one?”
Jiang He had thought that Yuan Spirit daemons would be an easy kill for him.
With his present abilities, not even a full-fledged Yuan Spirit elite would survive his Twenty-Three Swords technique. As such, even Convergence cultivators would find that move techniques when Jiang He’s Yuan Spirit further strengthened.
But the point here was where would he find a Yuan Spirit daemon?
Even that King Kong of Skull Island, the alleged strongest Feral on Earth, was probably just a Feral Emperor-pinnacle, was it not?
Moreover, if it had not trained in daemonic cultivation and relied solely on evolving, it probably would not have refined a Daemonic Pellet…
Or what, was Jiang He supposed to run inside the ancient daemon cultivators’ territory and slay a Yuan Spirit daemon?
“Forget it. I’m in no hurry to level my farm right now since my objective at the moment is to gather Farm Points. When I have enough Farm Points and improve my abilities, I could pay a visit to the Secret Realm of an ancient daemon cultivator then.”
Soon, the second batch of rice was ready for harvest.
After harvesting everything, Jiang He planted the remaining several hundred catties of rice, with the third batch being completely harvested around five in the morning.
He then took a look at his System Panel.

Jiang He had managed to recoup the Farm Points he had spent on learning arrays, item refinement, and pellet refinement. The rice alone earned him over three million Farm Points, and with the sizeable income from planting the arrays, item refinement, and pellet refinement, Jiang He’s Farm Points remained above ten million.
“Eh?”
“Where did my Summer Princess’s Eight Practices go?”
Jiang He did a double take as he realized something in shock—the Summer Princess’s Eight Practices was gone from his martial arts cultivation category.
“I’ve only muttered once that I wouldn’t cultivate the Summer Princess’s Eight Practices in the future, and you deleted it just like that, System?!”
Nonetheless, Jiang He tested himself. Since he had grasped the third-style of the Summer Princess’s Eight Practices and could cast it, as well as its remaining cultivation techniques, he certainly could keep cultivating it, although it was simply not present at the [Martial Arts Cultivation] category.
That said, it was a good think.
Summer Princess’s Eight Practices, Blind Fool’s Groping Practices… its mere sight was annoying!
“For now, I’ll plant all the napa cabbage seeds and the cucumber seeds, and start making the array boards and array flags come sunrise.”
For a master of arrays like Jiang He, making array boards and array flags were exceedingly simple. After all, he had developed the technique to create those items back when he wrote his new arrays.
“I could plant one of those tiny flags to plant as array flags.”
“As for array boards, it would take a trip to the kitchenware shop…”
Soon, sunrise arrived.
Every cucumber and napa cabbage had already grown, although Jiang He was a little speechless… the System did not even give him 1 Farm Point for the cucumbers.
Nonetheless, the 49,500 thick and huge cucumbers piled as high as mountains.
At the same time, the napa cabbages… were growing out of every corner in the farm.
But since Jiang He had planted it, it was just a little… big!
Each was half the height of an adult person, and they dyed the entire farm green.
Jiang He walked up and plucked one, but no System Notification jingled in his ear. It seems that like the cucumbers, they were too low-level to earn him Farm Points.
Fixing his gaze on the napa-cabbaged that weighed around sixty catties, a cluster of data popped up—
[Napa cabbage]
[Effect: Rich with calcium, phosphorus, iron, carotene, thiamine, potassium, and other minerals. Clears body heat and toxins, eases irritability, swelling and fluid flow, as well as quenches thirst.]
[Warm Reminder: Women should use with caution.]
Jiang He was baffled.
This stuff looked just fine—why would women need to be cautious when eating it?
His eyes then reached the part about irrigating and easing swelling. As he realized what that meant with a start, he could not help laughing. “It seems that Mu Wanqiu’s blessing has arrived. She kept saying that she is too large that it affects her in cultivation and battle. I could give her a call and send her one later to see how much this works.”
Women should use with caution.
Therefore, he must be wary since there were quite a lot of girls and women at the Martial Arts Academy. If everyone’s swelling was ‘eased’ after he send the napa cabbages over, they are definitely going to come for his head.
Jiang He promptly dialed Mu Wanqiu’s number at that thought.
“Really?”
She exclaimed in delight, saying, “What a coincidence—Old Wu was asking me to go with her to your house. I’ll be right there.”
Jiang He pondered after hanging up.
While it was obvious what ‘easing swelling’ in ‘easing swelling and fluid flow’ meant, but what was the latter supposed to mean?
When combined with ‘women should use with caution’, however, a bold idea suddenly occurred to Jiang He!
If taken literally, easing fluid flow meant…
Damn it, System! You are so improper!
“Hmmm…”
“But since the System did not mention that men should use cautiously, doesn’t that mean it wouldn’t have adverse effects on men? Or should I have Cheng Dongfeng eat some to test it out?”
