Jiang He wanted to return Wang Hou’s call, but the other man did not answer even after a long while.
“Minister Wang’s phone would be on 24/7 if there were no emergencies… could he have gained another instant enlightenment through his cultivation?”
“I really envy him—he’s really able to enjoy the pleasures of cultivation with those enlightenments from time to time.”
Ah!
Jiang He could not help breathing another long sigh at the thought.
Hu Mei walked up to him, asking adorably, “Why are you sighing, Master?”
“I remembered something unpleasant.”
Jiang He, however, was not willing to elaborate since it was not glorious for a full-fledged True Immortal to be unable to experience the joys of cultivation. Returning inside his mansion, he gathered his maids and told them, “I have a certain matter to attend to outside the Solar System and it would be sometime before I return. Hu Mei, Boa Hancock, you two would be following me.”
Both Boa Hancock and Hu Mei nodded.
It was a long way to leave the solar system and it would probably be days before he could return. That was why Jiang He brought along two maids to kill time in case he got too free… for activities like having small talk, sports, brewing tea or cooking dinner.
At the moment, it had gotten gloomy outside and there were chill winds gusting in the air.
It was now early spring, but it is still cold out in Xibei.
However, it started drizzling in the afternoon, and there were little snowflakes mixed into the rain.
The snowflakes would melt even before they landed, but as the temperatures drop when night comes, there would be a thin layer of ice frozen over on the ground.
Standing outside his yard, Jiang He suddenly had a curious urge for spicy soup and grill.
“Hmm!”
“I heard that cultivators always do what they want. Perhaps I should leave after I’m done eating.”
Jiang He arrived at Lingzhou City in a flash.
People over at Lingzhou City loved spicy food, which was why there would be a lot of restaurants for sweet-and-sour food, spicy soup, and hot pot around. Jiang He changed his look before randomly picking one of the cleaner restaurants, then had a steamed cake as well as a large bowl of spicy soup before heading home.
Both Boa Hancock and Hu Mei were prepared by then.
Dumbo also came blustering out, exclaiming, “Master, me too! I want to go too!”
With his improvement in abilities, Dumbo had become more conscious of his personal image.
The dog had his fur groomed so much it was almost shining.
Standing up on it rear legs while wearing aviator glasses and baggy pants, everything it wore was from designer labels.
It even asked Jiang He to craft a pair of mystic pants that could change sizes at will, and it was a superior-grade sage item at that. The only shortcoming was that it had poor ventilation and very stuffy when worn, which was why Dumbo would not wear it often aside from when it was fighting or going shopping.
“You’re a dog. Why would you follow me instead of watching the house?”
Trumbo had stood up on his rear legs as well and strode towards them.
With his reading glasses that had no lens, he looked just like a scholar as he walked up to Jiang He’s side and say, “Master, I shall follow you to outer space as well. I have really hit it off with Brother Unknown lately and have asked him many things, which has allowed me to learn about the Hundred Races Alliance to some extent. When the time comes, we just might be of help to you, Master.”
“Chirp-chirp-chirp!”
Jiang He’s two eagles were squeaking endlessly as well.
They were now Mahayana-tier, and somewhat looked the part of divine beast descendants as their bloodlines were slowly evoked.
The Golden Eagle’s feathers were completely golden as if forged from gold.
On the other hand, the mutated Blazing Violet Golden Eagle had mostly golden feathers as well, though it differed from its sibling since it had a tuft of fiery violet-golden down atop its head and its eyes were violet-golden as well.
Jiang He was delighted at the sight of his two eagles.
The two chicks had grown out fine…
As their bloodlines were activated endlessly, their abilities grew by the day and were not far from becoming immortal. There would definitely be another drastic evolution once they did with their bloodlines complete revived, thereby gaining greater strength.
Of course, it did not matter if they were powerful.
For Jiang He, the key was that they fully morphed into divine beasts, and would it not be cool when he rode them whenever he went out for walks?
“Gramps, Gramps…”

The Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers ran out as well.
Jiang He facepalmed, feeling a headache just then.
Why were these rascals trying to join the liveliness?
Still, his farm was large enough anyway, so he brought them along as well.
And since he was bringing the rascals alone, he naturally would not be skipping out in his other maids—instructing them to enter his farm, he then collected it with a wave of his hand.
Hu Mei did not enter, however, but dropped to the ground instead with her bottom protruding while flirting, “Master, ride me.”
“…”
Jiang He scowled. “How could I ride you when you’re not in your true form?”
Giggling, Hu Mei promptly turned into a hundred-meter-long white fox.
Jiang He flew and landed on her back, and she turned into a streak of immortal light that rose to the horizon.
She moved rapidly and soon left the atmosphere, flying into the vastness of outer space.
Jiang He frowned then as he recalled something, and exclaimed, “Wait, where’s the Alliance’s alliance?”
Right!
Where were they?
Without specific coordinates amidst the vastness of the stars, how was he supposed to find them?
“I was careless!”
“I should have contacted Minister Wang and cleared things up before coming out. With him keeping an eye through the Star Map, we would definitely find the champions of their legion.”
Jiang He breathed a long sigh.
Having already come out here, it was not his style to turn around.
“Hu Mei, stop for a moment… isn’t that the moon just ahead of us? Let’s rest there for a bit.”
“Yes, Master.”
Hu Mei landed on the moon.
At the same time, Jiang He opened his farm, letting out his pets and maids.
The Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers, Dumbo and Trumbo hence started playing around the moon, while Jiang He called Unknown Fox to him and asked, “Where would the Hundred Races Alliance land if they plan to invade Earth? Would it still be near Mars?”
“Nope!”
Unknown Fox replied. “With Mars destroyed, even True Immortals like me would be terribly affected by the dimensional turbulence. If the Alliance would stick to their usual teleportation, half their forces which are Heavenly Immortals and below would be killed.”
Since Unknown Fox had lived a long time and had been to the celestial battlefield before, he knew the Alliance to a certain extent. “Though there may not be one hundred species in the Hundred Races Alliance, there would still be up to eighty of them. Even with the Gods and Demons’ leadership, it is not likely for them to gather dozens of their champions and forces in such a short time.”
“That is why those races would definitely assemble at another planetary system near ours, and only attack our homeworld when their legion is fully prepared.”
“Oh?”
Jiang He’s gaze twitched, since Unknown Fox spoke reason.
Even so…
Who would know where said legion would assemble?
That was when Unknown Fox’s eyes gleamed with wisdom. All smiles as if currying favor, he said, “Master, I do know of a place where the Alliance would most likely assemble.”
“Where is it?”
“The Black Demon Star of the Sky Demon System!”
“The Sky Demon System is the Sky Demons’ territory and quite close to the Solar System, and the Black Demon Star is the closest planet as well. According to what I know, the Black Demon Star is incredibly vast that spans over a hundred thousand kilometers in diameter, not to mention that it serves as a strategic location for the Sky Demon System. If the Alliance is coming, they would definitely pick the Black Demon Star as the place to prepare.”
Jiang He’s eyes lit up, but he soon became troubled again.
“A planet over a hundred thousand kilometers in diameter… it would be very difficult even if I want to blow it up!”
Unknown Fox was dumbstruck.
What the hell.
His eyes were bulging and he was unsure what to say just then.
