Inevitably, Wang Hui began treating Li Yi as Lin Ya’s boyfriend. This put both of them in an awkward position.

Li Yi also explained, “That’s right. I’ve only known Lin Ya for a short period of time. We’re not at that stage yet.”

Wang Hui nodded slightly when she heard that. Then, she whispered into Lin Ya’s ear, “You have to work harder. You need to make him yours as soon as possible and revitalize this family!”

Lin Ya was completely speechless. The only thing Wang Hui ever thought about was the family’s power. This all made her feel a little tired.

“Mom, why are you so determined to set me up with him all of a sudden?”

With this utterance, Wang Hui’s face became a little ugly.

Now, he could finally carry out the contract!

Li Yi heaved a sigh of relief. He originally thought this would take much longer. He was not expecting to find them all so soon.

It was beginning to look like he would be able to participate in the Beast competition after all.

“I have something to do, so I need to get going. Contact me if you need anything in the future.”

After Li Yi said that, he turned around and prepared to leave.

Wang Hui and Lin Ya couldn’t leave, though. They had to stay behind and accompany the weakened Sub-Dragon.

Jiang Ying followed Li Yi back to the side of the road and hailed a taxi.

“Jiang Ying, you go on back. I might have something to do here.”

As an assistant, Jiang Ying didn’t question him.

“Then I’ll go back to the hospital. I’ll wait for you there.”

Li Yi nodded and continued to walk along the river.

He was surprised to find that the Weak Water Ying Dragon didn’t dive into the water this time. It flew into the air.

And it kept following him. Both man and dragon were moving forward in sync.

Li Yi looked at the Ying Dragon flying above the river. He was a little curious as to why it wasn’t leaving.

He could see that the dragon was a little reluctant to leave.

Sure enough, the Ying Dragon had been following Li Yi all the way to the road.

Li Yi was a little troubled. He could not have the dragon following him around like this.

If he brought it into the city, it would probably cause quite a commotion, mainly because of how large it was. In a city, it would be a major inconvenience.

Initially, Li Yi thought that the dragon would be unwilling to enter the system space, but now it was beginning to seem like it might be willing after all.

Thus, Li Yi opened the system space function.

Soon, a portal appeared in front of Li Yi.

He whistled and summoned the dragon.

Hearing the whistle, the dragon flew towards Li Yi, completely unconcerned about the portal in front of him.

After collecting the flying dragon, Li Yi returned home.

For the entire week it had been alive, the one it saw the most was Li Yi.

It was because of this that the dragon felt close to Li Yi.

Li Yi hailed a taxi and returned to the hospital.

Jiang Ying had already gotten back earlier. She had even begun seeing a few patients.

“How many guests did you receive at the front?” Li Yi asked as he walked into the consultation room.

Jiang Ying stood up and looked at Li Yi. “There were three guests. I’ve already treated them all.”

Li Yi nodded his head in appreciation. “Very good. Then, for the next two months, I’d like to leave the management of this hospital in your hands.”

When Jiang Ying heard this, she was a little surprised. “Really? You want me to manage the hospital all by myself?”

Li Yi nodded. “That’s right. It would be a waste if you used all that talent of yours to just be an assistant. You can have my job for a while. There are some other things I’d like to take care of in the coming months.”

“Alright then. I’ll cover for you. However, I’ve only been your assistant for a few days. Are you sure you’re okay with leaving me in charge of the whole hospital?” Jiang Ying was a little worried.

Li Yi shook his head disapprovingly. “It’ll be alright. I can see that you don’t have any ulterior motives. The only thing you really want is to study medicine. Since that’s the case, I’ll give you a chance.”

Jiang Ying nodded. “No problem. Leave it to me from now on!”

Li Yi turned around and left the consultation room. He went back to the entrance of the hospital.

As usual, Zhang San was standing guard. “Zhang San, for the next two month, Jiang Ying will be in charge of the hospital. I just wanted to let you know in advance.”

When Zhang San heard this, he was very puzzled. “Boss, why are you leaving the hospital with her? Isn’t she from one of our rival hospitals originally?”

Li Yi waved his hand dismissively. “It’s okay. She came to me purely to study medicine. Besides, won’t you be keeping an eye on her?”

“Don’t worry, boss. I’ll take good care of the hospital! I’ll make sure nothing goes wrong!” Zhang San said confidently.

After that, Li Yi walked to the side of the road, hailed a taxi and prepared to go home.

Over the next two months, he was going to be preparing for the Beast competition.

First things first, he had to start training his monster pets so that they would be in better shape for the competition!

After returning home, Li Yi went to his bedroom. Then, he opened up the portal to the system space.

He went in.

The space inside seemed to go on forever. It was an endless, perfectly flat plain.

The Weak Water Ying Dragon, the Gale Butterfly, the Lightning Rat and Garfield were all here.

Of all four of these Beasts, the Lightning Rat was by far the most lively. It was running through the grass at an insane speed. Without careful training, if he ever let it out of the system space, it might run away.

So, Li Yi decided to train the Lightning Rat first.
