Chapter 1: Prologue

"We're finally doing it, shachou? Are you sure about this?" The purple-haired girl asked with a worried tone audibly heard from her, doubting if it was the only thing they could do.

"Yes. And there's no turning back anymore. It's now or never," The blue-haired girl with rabbit ears replied. Everything was according to their plan, and the least of their worries was the success of it.

Standing inside the watchtower, she sighed as she watched the plane departing from their military island, ready to launch a weapon of mass destruction en route to Hokkaido, the location of their enemy headquarters.

"Nuclear package inbound. Target, Hokkaido, Minato Aqua's main base."

"Godspeed."

In this world of Magic and Technology, humans and beasthumans lived together, signing an agreement that prohibited them from interfering with each other's wars due to their horrifying history that almost wiped the planet.

But nobody expected that a new waging war would cause both of them to break their promises.

With the agreement losing its meaning, everyone started to crusade, to either protect the world they know against its doom or change it so it could live without worrying about anything.

Now that the entire world was under massive fire, two unique individuals decided to risk their all to fulfill their opposing goals. All humanity and the supernatural could do was watch both of them collide against one another.

With her sword sheathed on her waist, she took a deep breath before gaining access over the microphone and saluted the remaining army from below the watchtower.

Her decision might spark anger from other countries, but it's the only thing left in their arsenal. She also doubted that her enemy didn't own one of those bad guys yet, but pulling the trigger first would halt them from retaliating with the same move.

With the courage in her heart, she sang out her war cry, fully prepared to handle the consequences of her decision.

"Glory to Pekoland!"
