30 – Suddenly, Swimsuits 3
We decided to leave the cooking of the giant frozen squid to the chefs that Eleanor and I teleported here.
The chief intelligence officer Vivi’s swimsuit was torturer-themed and exposed all over. The whole thing overall was very alluring, and she had to have on a military-style hat.
Eleanor’s was a two-piece swimsuit that resembled lingerie, and she had on a decorative cloth on her lower half.
Louto’s is kinda like a one-piece swimsuit, but it looks like a two-piece from the back.
It’s the kind that snugly fits her body line and the sides of her waist are exposed.
I earnestly utilized the one compliment I have, “It suits you.”
I guess the Saint taught me the right thing, ’cause they were all happy.
That said, as the Hero who learned a thousand magic spells from the Sage, I want to have something suitable for any situation.
I wonder if you can learn more compliments in school?
Also, excluding the kids, the figures of the women in their swimsuits made my heart rate go up. I wonder why?
We played all sorts of games after that.
For example, with the kids. They wanted to splash around in the water, but the crashing waves scared them, so I dug a hole in the sand and filled it with seawater, making something resembling a pool.
I made it using magic, and it was quite large. It was only ankle-deep, so they could play without worry.
A beach volleyball match also happened.
I challenged myself to play without using magic.
I teamed up with Fripp, but someone proposed a rule where the losers would do one thing that the winners say, it was immediately approved, and we were forced to have matches with the Seven and the kids.
A few times, my eyes were captivated by the women’s breasts swaying from their intense movements, but I saw Fripp get distracted as well, so I was relieved that I wasn’t being weird.
But I refrained from staring some more because of how the Saint scolded me before.
Incidentally, we won every match.
Everyone let out a sigh, but I don’t go easy in a competition.
After that, we had mock battles using twigs for some reason.
I suppose it’s true that you wouldn’t get hurt if you fell down on the sandy beach.
The two academy students, Fripp and Jural, challenged me several times. It felt like practice.
Mika burned with a rivalry against the twig saying “How dare you use a stick instead of me…!” and I laughed a little.
I also enjoyed a sport where you stand on a wooden board and ride the waves.
Other than me, Vivi and Lejie did well.
The fox-eared Ur rode on the white fox, running side-by-side with us with a smug look on her face for some reason, but I thought that was cheating.
Although, I don’t think there’s a rule against riding waves on a white fox.
Eleanor said “Could you help me put on sunscreen? I can’t reach my back, you see…” and I agreed to help, but Lejie took my place, saying “This isn’t something that Master Rain should worry about, right?”
I think Lejie put too much force into it ’cause Eleanor yelled “Lejie, stop at once, ow, ow ow ow! Don’t make me send you to an isolated island!” in anger.
Louto said “There’s something I’d like you to see Sir Rain~” and when I turned to look, it was a hammock.
Each end of the net is tied to a different tree so that the net can be slept on.
「Ooh.」
I tried lying on it, it was quite enjoyable.
With a pleasant breeze blowing, I surrendered to the hammock that gently sways with my every movement.
「It’s comfortable, isn’t it~?」
「Yeah, this feels great…」
「Oh yes, Sir Rain, have a sip of this~. Oh my.」

When I turned to look, the glass in Louto’s hand fell to the ground.
「Louto! You just tried to drug Hero Rain, didn’t you?!」
It would seem that Vivi used her whip to knock the glass out of her hands.
「That would be disgraceful~. It was just something to make a young man feel a little better~」
「That is wrong! Wrong!」
「But everyone is a late-bloomer despite being so interested~. I just thought that health and physical education is my area as a teacher, after all.」
「You’re a magic teacher!」
I have no idea whether The Seven get along or not.
When I got away from everyone to try some fishing, a cat-eared girl followed me.
She says she likes fish.
After about fifteen minutes, I realized that fishing is hard.
So, I sensed the life force of the fish, captured each of their surrounding areas with Wind Magic, and pulled them above the water.
And then, I put just the fish into the prepared basket.
I repeated this several times.
「What a haul, what a haul.」
We had a giant squid, so we let them all go, save for a few.
「That’s amazing but…that’s totally not fishing…」
Said the girl with mixed feelings.
「But you’ll eat them, right?」
「Yeah…!」
She replied immediately with sparkles in her eyes.
There were many things I could do on the beach, like teaching others who wanted to learn how to swim, or splashing water at each other as we did in the bathtub.
I had fun, but Mika was in a bad mood, so I better do something later.
Around sunset, the kids started to get sleepy, so we decided to go home.
The squid and fish dishes we ate for lunch were delicious.
When we got back, I was looking forward to dinner but…
「Hero Rain!」
Just as I finished changing out of my swimsuit, my door opened.
Vivi burst into my room still in her swimsuit.
But this doesn’t seem like the time to point that out.
「I just heard the intel from my subordinates! The Saint is running through Demon Territory looking for you!」
『Whaaat?! That woman?!』
Mika yelled in surprise.
Anyway, I knew it was only a matter of time.
「…Does she know I’m here?」
「Yes. She seems to be heading this way.」
I could see the anxiety on Vivi’s face.
I don’t know how she found out, but now that she has, it can’t be helped.
「Alert everyone. I’m going with Mika.」
