Chapter 125: Chapter 119: Eighty Eight Stars

The members of Blue Pegasus and Anna were running as fast as possible toward Lucy, Hibiki´s archive magic was a big help as it showed Lucy´s position and the surrounding area.

Currently, Lucy was no longer moving, it seemed that she was able to get out of the river.

Luckily for them, it didn´t take them long to arrive, finding Lucy lying at the edge of the river, half of her body still submerged in the water.

Anna quickly ran toward Lucy to make sure that she was ok.

Meanwhile, Hibiki looked at his map because there was something wrong with Lucy´s location.

“That´s weird, my archive magic tells me that Lucy is on the other side of the river, and yet here… she… ANNA MOVE AWAY, IT´S A TRAP!” Hibiki yelled as he realized that it was a trap, however, it was too late.

As Anna heard Hibiki´s words, the fake Lucy sprang up and tried to ram a knife into her stomach.

Luckily, Anna dodged the attack by reflex, the fake Lucy fell to the ground.

Anna acted quickly and wrapped multiple chains around the fake Lucy.

“Gemini!” Anna said in shock and disappointment.

“Piri, piri. Took you long enough. Sorry about that, but it was her orders.” Gemini said with an apologetic smile.

Anna wanted to ask where Angel was but she didn´t need to because Angel appeared on the other side of the river, dragging an unconscious Lucy with her.

Anna and the others could only look shocked at the state Lucy was in, her body was covered in injuries and bruises, making it clear that Angel had tortured Lucy.

“Took you long enough to get here, I was getting bored, so I passed the time with her.” Angel said and let go of Lucy before kicking her in the stomach.

“Honestly, her compassion for her spirits was just so unbearable, didn´t even scream, but now that all of you are here, I should be able to enjoy myself.” Angel said with a smug smile and spread her arms.

“So, this is the kind of master that you are serving now? I pity you, Gemini.” Anna said.

“Pipiri, not all are like you and your descendants, Anna. You know that I have no choice in the matter.” Gemini said with a somewhat sad look before turning back into their original form and flying back toward Angel.

Hibiki and the other members of Blue Pegasus got ready, however, a laser came flying from nowhere toward the Trimen.

“Not on my watch.” Ren said and used his air magic to push away his comrades and created a wall to block the blast.

Sadly, the laser penetrated the air wall without any problems and landed right beside Ren, causing an explosion that sent the young mage flying.

“[White Blizzard]”

Eve used his snow magic to create a blizzard that covered the whole area, the strong wind caught Ren and softly laid him on the ground.

Angel sighed in disappointment, in her opinion none of them were able to go against her.

“I will make this quick so that I can enjoy torturing you later. Gemini!” Angel said.

Gemini transformed back into Lucy and held one of Lucy´s keys.

“Open the gate of the archer! [Sagittarius]”

With a loud puff, Sagittarius appeared beside Gemini.

“Muchi, muchi. How may I serve today?” Sagittarius asked while saluting.

“Shot them down.” Gemini ordered while pointing at Anna and the others.

“As you wish.” Sagittarius said and fired upon Anna and the others.

Anna used her magic to create multiple shields before her and the members of Blue Pegasus, blocking Sagittarius’s arrows.

“How is this possible?” Ichiya asked in confusion.

“Gemini can copy anyone and anything. They gain all of their memories but also all of their abilities.” Anna explained and prepared a few spells.

“*Tch* Sounds like a lot of trouble. Lady Anna, do they have some limitations in their transformation ability?” Hibiki clicked his tongue in annoyance and asked Anna.

“A few, when they transform into someone else, they replicate them to the smallest point, meaning that both the weaknesses and the strengths are copied as well, including the power level. They cannot increase the power of someone they copy and when they transform into someone much stronger than themselves then they cannot copy their strength completely.” Anna answered as she dodged a laser bolt that came out of nowhere.

“Hahaha! That´s right entertain me more.” Angel said while laughing.

Sagittarius stopped for a moment and looked at the fake Lucy.

“Lady Lucy, this doesn´t seem like your usual self. Are you alright?” Sagittarius asked worriedly.

Gemini´s eyes widened in shock, as they had transformed into Lucy, so she knew how much the spirits meant to her and her opinion of them, however, it was a completely different thing to see it in reality.

“C-Close the… g-gate…” said a weak voice and in a puff, Sagittarius disappeared.

Gemini and Angel looked in shock to their side and saw how Lucy tried to stand up, her whole-body trembling, her eyes barely focused.

“How…” Angel asked in shock, the injuries that she had given Lucy were no laughing matter and yet she still had the strength to stand, how?

“Eve, Ren, now!” Anna yelled.

Ren and Eve nodded and used their magic to bring Lucy over the river and them.

Anna caught Lucy in her arms and inspected her injuries.

“Aunt Anna, help me stand…” Lucy whispered as she tried to stand up.

Anna was shocked because as she saw Lucy´s eyes, which had regained their focus, she could see something astounding, determination.

Lucy took a small step toward the river while pulling out a certain key.

“I… am a member of… Fairy Tail… and none of us know the meaning… of giving up.” Lucy said.

Ren, Hibiki, Eve, and Ichiya were stunned, they couldn´t fathom how she could even move in such a situation.

“Man, Lady Lucy, your perfume is inspiring. Let my perfume give you the strength to move. [Pain Relieving Perfume]” Ichiya said and opened one of his best perfumes.

Although healing magic was a lost art, many had tried to recreate it, and this perfume was one of them and had gotten closer to the lost art than anyone before or after it.

As the perfume filled the air, Lucy could feel how her injuries no longer hurt and her body relaxed.

Anna helped Lucy to walk toward the river, while Angel stared angrily at Gemini.

“What are you doing? Stop them!” Angel yelled at Gemini.

“She… She treads her spirits like family…” Gemini stuttered in shock.

“USELESS!” Angel yelled and closed Gemini´s gate.

Gemini´s figure, still in Lucy´s form, slowly disappeared, it seemed like the spirit was trying to slow down the closure of the gate as much as possible.

“Piri, Anna… Your family… your descendants have all become such great mages.” Gemini said, a rolling down from their eye.

Anna looked at Gemini and said with a smile, “Just wait and see, she has the potential to surpass her mother and me, mark my words.”

Gemini smiled and finally disappeared.

Angel looked at Gemini´s key in anger, she would discipline her spirit after this was over.

While Angel was looking at the key, Anna and Lucy arrived at the river.

Anna brought Lucy down and Lucy placed the key into the water.

“Open the gate of the water bearer! [AQUARIUS]”

The surface of the river shook, and Aquarius emerged from it, emerging the surrounding area in water.

Aquarius looked around to search for Lucy, annoyed that she had been summoned.

However, as she saw Anna with Lucy, she was quite surprised, but as she saw in what condition Lucy was, she became furious.

Aquarius turned around and stared at Angel with a murderous look.

“So, you are the bitch that needs to be drowned today, huh?” Aquarius asked and summoned a giant wave to drown Angel.

“So, you are Aquarius, your boyfriend had told me a lot about you. Open the gate of the scorpion! [Scorpio]”

With a puff, Scorpio appeared beside Angel.

“We are!” Scorpio yelled and crossed his arms.

Aquarius looked stunned at Scorpio for a second before saying, “Scorpio, I missed you.”, while holding her face with her hands and blushing like a young maiden in love.

Scorpio smiled as he saw Aquarius and jumped into the river.

“Aquarius my dear, how are you feeling?” Scorpio asked while embracing Aquarius.

“You… have got to be kidding me…” Lucy said in denial, was her luck that bad?

“Is… is this your…?”

“Boyfriend, yes…” Aquarius confirmed while blushing.

Aquarius linked her arm with Scorpio and the two walked away, but not before Aquarius stared at Anna and tried to tell her something.

Anna needed a moment before she understood what Aquarius wanted to say and nodded.

Aquarius nodded in return and sighed silently; she could leave Lucy to her.

“How about getting some dinner?” Aquarius asked her beloved Scorpio.

“Sounds good, hope that neither of you two has something against us leaving like that?” Scorpio asked while he and Aquarius disappeared.

“Of course not, have fun you two.” Angel said while smiling.

After the two returned to their world, Angel looked smugly at both Anna and Lucy.

“You really should know the relationships of your spirits, which is what makes you a beginner and me a master… Oh, also the fact that I can do this.” Angel said and snapped her finger.

Appearing from the woods was the small flying robot that she had used before.

The spirit had suppressed the members of Blue Pegasus to make sure that they wouldn´t interfere.

“Being able to open more than one gate is a skill that only advanced stellar spirit mages can do. Now, it´s time for you all to die.” Angel said and ordered her spirit to focus its attack on Anna and Lucy.

Lucy panicked as she didn´t have enough magic power left to summon another spirit, her body was too tired.

Anna on the other hand was thinking about something that might help them, however, she wasn´t sure if she could use that spell as she was now.

“Lucy, I might have a way to defeat her once and for all, however, I will need your help. But you might get even more exhausted than you currently are.”

“Then let´s do this, as long as it finishes her, then I am in.” Lucy said without any hesitation.

Anna nodded and entwined the fingers of her left hand with Lucy´s right hand.

Magic power radiated from Anna and covered both her and Lucy and both of them fell into a trance-like state.

A large magic circle appeared beneath the two and Hibiki realized which spell Anna wanted to use.

“That… That is the ultimate spell of the stars… how does she know it… Everyone, we need to buy them time. The incantation of the spell is long. Use everything you have to buy them time!” Hibiki yelled toward his comrades.

At first surprised, Eve, Ren, and Ichiya nodded and ran toward the two, activating their magic toward Angel.

“You want to stop me? Humph… Dream on. Open the gate of the ram! [Aries]”

Angel summoned her last spirit, Aries, who apologized as soon as she appeared.

Angel ordered the spirit to protect her while the other spirit, Caelum, charged its canon for the next attack.

Ichiya, Ren, and Eve sent a combination of perfume, air, and snow toward Angel, hoping that their formless magic would pass by Aries´s wall.

But sadly, their attacks were not able to pass the wall of wool.

Amused by their feeble attempts, Angel jumped over the river, Aries following right behind her, and went into close combat with them.

At first, the three thought that their opponent had gone mad, however, Angel proved to be an expert in hand-to-hand combat and continued to beat all three of them with little effort.

It was rare for mages who don´t use close combat magic to excel in physical combat.

Now only Hibiki stood between Angel and the two Heartfilia members.

Luckily for Hibiki, he didn´t need to stall for more time.

“Survey the Heavens, Open the Heavens… All the stars, far and wide… Show me thy appearance… With such shine. Oh Tetrabiblos… I am the ruler of the stars… Aspect become complete… Open thy malevolent gate. Oh 88 Stars of the heaven… Shine! [URANO METRIA!]” they began to chant in perfect synchronization.

The area around them changed into a bright sky night.

One after another, eighty-eight stars appeared in the sky.

After all, eighty-eight stars had appeared, they moved before Anna and Lucy and exploded.

The explosion hit Angel, Aries, and Caelum with full force.

Caelum and Aries were sent back to the spirit world, while Angel was catapulted into the river, receiving heavy injuries and got swept away by the current.

The night slowly disappeared and both Anna and Lucy fell unconscious onto the ground.

“What kind of a spell was that?” Eve asked as he and Ren picked up the two women.

“The ultimate spell of a celestial mage, a spell that uses the might of the stars themselves. Never thought that I would say the day that it would be used.” Hibiki answered and shook his head.

“Even so, both of them the beauty of their perfume, we should all take this as a lesson.” Ichiya said as he stroked a pose, his voice in a serious tone.

“As you say, maestro!” answered all three pupils in unison.
