Seeing this unbelievably strict schedule in front of her made Aurora already want to faint.

The Practical Rune Magic class usually takes place on a large open field. It focuses on practicing rune magic rather than the theory behind it.

However, there are times when the students meet inside a classroom connected on the other side to the open area.

Aurora spent her first day in class talking with Griselda while annoying Yulia and the young Princess Estelle's diehard fans. After two long hours, she found herself exhausted and ready to escape. Still, Aurora reminded herself it was for the sake of getting this over with quickly so she can resume her research.

As for the class...the subject was not interesting her at all.

The topics included shield runes, the difference between shields with or without an attribute infused in it, and how each shield rune with a different attribute can have various outputs. For example, both earth and fire shield runes can also have short-range attack proprieties.

All subjects she covered with her instructor, Gaius Lancaster.

Just as class finished, Aurora planned on quickly heading to her room to rest until an unexpected person stopped her.

“W-wait…”

A low, soft voice called out from behind.

Aurora paused and turned around while at the same time she changed her indifference towards that of a welcoming smile. “How can I help you, Lady Enlil?”

Griselda blinked her eyes.

In that brief moment when she met Aurora's eyes, it was as though she was staring down a deep and endless abyss. Cold and detached from the world.

Griselda shook her head.

No, she must have imagined things.

"Lady Enlil?"

Hearing Lady Isla call her name, Griselda blushed as she lowered her head. “Umm, I was…wondering….if you have visited the dorms yet?”

"? I was just on my way.”

“T-then…!” Griselda Enlil lifted her head, her face brightly lit at the prospect of being useful. “Lady Isla may have a map a-a-already, but….since I was heading there myself…it will be faster….”

Griselda couldn’t find it in herself to finish, but Aurora was made clear of her intentions.

She glanced at the tall muscular Knight standing behind Griselda. “Then, if you don’t mind, will you guide me to the dorms?”

“Yes!!”

Griselda quickly made her way towards Aurora, and the two, along with the Knight, left the building as Yulia, Molly, and Helen watched with black faces.

The dorm buildings are separated by gender, while each floor belongs to a different class year. And to observe the rules of high society, it is forbidden for the opposite gender to enter the dorms.

With the dorm leaders as exceptions, the others, no matter their status, must live with three other roommates. Fortunately, the rooms are large enough and designed in a way where privacy is respected.

Each room included a living room, kitchen, dining room, two bathrooms, and four bedrooms with doors.

It was like a small house itself.

Griselda and Aurora stopped in front of a door on the fourth floor.

"Ah, this is my room Lady Isla. I wonder if we live close to each other." Griselda pointed at the door.

Coincidentally enough, Aurora placed her on the doorknob of that said door. "Eh?"

"Eh?"

"...Can it be, that I am your new roommate?"

"Gasp!" Griselda covered her mouth with excitement. "Really? I thought the dorm leader didn't plan on letting anyone else enter this room due to the Princess?!"

"......Princess?"

"Yes! Princess Estelle De Lyn Ignis!" Griselda happily laughed, but Aurora was anything but happy.

Her eyebrows twitched.

...She will need to rethink her plan...

When Aurora entered the dorm, Anya stood inside her room before the large open window with a smile.

“My Lady, I have prepared everything.” She said, shining with great confidence. It was as though she was glittering.

The truth?

Anya was sure that Tanya, as the eldest sister, would be chosen to follow the miss to the academy.

As a battle maid whose main task is to protect the mansion, it was rare for her to get a chance to leave. It was thanks to her Lady for choosing her. 'She must trust me that much!'

Unfortunately for Anya, that was not it at all.

“Ah, can you prepare afternoon tea for my guest and me?” She gestured towards Griselda.

“Yes, right away miss!!” Anya looked around the room and behind Aurora.

"What's wrong?"

"Why isn't Beatrice by your side, my Lady?"

"Ah." Aurora paused. "I wanted to decorate the room and asked her to go buy some things."

"Oh! It's a shame. I wanted to pick out the decorations for you."

"You can do so next time."

Anya's eyes brightened. "Yes!! Then, I'll go ahead and bring the tea."

Anya quickly left to make the tea, nearly skipping as she hummed.

When Aurora planned on sitting at the small round table placed for two, she saw Griselda standing just outside of the room.

“Lady Enlil, will you not come in?"

Griselda, who hesitated at first, stepped inside. She slowly walked, with the typical restraint found in nobility. Her stance was straight and firm while she placed her hands gracefully folded in front of her.

Aurora noticed that Griselda has the pride of a Lady who grew up in a family with a high noble status but usually hid this.

She wondered what kept Griselda from acting in a way befitting of her family's status.

Seeing this, Aurora knew that she had to tweak her plans a little to gain this girl's friendship.
