Several things happened a few days later that made it seem like the world was rewriting itself to accommodate Onyx's survival. Jun didn't have a chance to personally reveal Sorrel's true face when he did it himself. Because Leo was part of the Beastmen City council and trusted Sorrel, the protagonist was privy to all the council affairs.

A coup was carried out by Onyx and the Leopard Tribe. It was swift and without much obstruction due to Sorrel's aid and Onyx's overwhelming power. He, too, had reached the legendary Emperor rank. The four Kings in Beast City were nothing in his eyes.

Sorrel was delighted to find out that his man was so powerful. When Leo saw Sorrel standing next to Onyx with satisfaction, he understood the tragic reality that he had never been first but always second, that he had been deceived since the beginning. Although his heart ached, he was still Sorrel's mate and could not hate him. The only thing he could do was submit.

Beast City was shortly re-established under a single ruler, Onyx's, and the council was demolished. As the female of the sole ruler of Beast City, Sorrel became the female with the highest status in the entire continent.

Being set up on such a high pedestal, Sorrel went on a power trip and unknowingly precipitated his defeat when he told Onyx he wanted Azazel and Elior. Sorrel's entitled and spoiled behavior didn't start with Leo but Onyx, who had always pampered him long before Leo could.

Sorrel didn't realize that wanting another female's mates was essentially cursing them to death, but even if he did, he wouldn't have cared. In his eyes, Faye shouldn't have survived and was only prolonging his fate. On top of that, he still believed that Azazel and Elior would have been his had he been the one to encounter them first.

During the coup, Jun had just stayed at home with Azazel and Elior, because they didn't go out much unless they had to. Not that Azazel and Elior would let him out after he had given birth and they could finally resume their normal sexual activities, at least not for another month or two. As a result, they had been completely oblivious to what was happening outside while they were lost in their own world.

Hence, when Sorrel showed up with Onyx and Leo at their house to demand Jun give up Azazel and Elior, he laughed and understood why the Hidden Mission had completed itself. He didn't consider that things would turn out like this, but in a way, it was his actions that led to unlocking the Hidden Mission early and its fulfillment, even if indirectly.

"You're kidding, right?" Jun asked. "Regardless of whether or not I give you Azazel and Elior, it doesn't mean they would want you."

"All the beastmen want me."

'Oh god.'

Jun just couldn't. The protagonist was using the stupid title of this world as an argument. He palmed his face and peeked at Azazel through his fingers. "You want him?"

"No, babe. I only want you."

A glance in Elior's direction and one could see a look of explicit repulsion on his face. "No way, baby! You know you're the only one I want! Besides, I wouldn't want that ugly female even if I didn't have you."

Jun smiled at Sorrel. "So you see, it's not my decision but our decision and none of us want you. We are happy with wanting each other."

"Just you, baby. I'm allowing Azazel to tag along."

"Babe, I said he's like my brother."

Sorrel's face went from an angry scarlet to an embarrassed white and back to an angry scarlet. No beastman he wanted had ever rejected him quite so straightforwardly before.

"Then you can all just die." He said through gritted teeth.

"Dying is a bit extreme just for rejecting you," Jun said. "Why can't you just exile us from Beastmen City?"

They had been planning to leave Beastmen City soon anyway. Having a permanent home was nice, but they enjoyed their freedom when they were traveling around the continent much more, even if it was less stable. And unexpectedly, being out in the wild was more private than being in a place occupied by many. Azazel and Elior wanted to be able to do Jun whenever and wherever without having to worry about prying eyes.

Their business was not their business in Beastmen City, as was the case with Jun's pregnancy and birthing. At the time they hadn't shown their irritation, but Azazel and Elior had been offended by everyone learning of it without their approval. What happened to doctor-patient confidentiality? Oh, that didn't exist yet.

"No, Death is the only option for you."

Jun hadn't completed the Main Mission yet. He was a little less than a year away and now Death had come looking for him again as Misfortune and Disaster seemed to have given up a long time ago.

"Well, alright then. Come at me Death." Jun said, then jumped behind Azazel and pushed him forward. "Azazel, I choose you!"

"Baby, you choose him but not me!?" Elior whined.

"You can join him, it can be a double battle!"

Not as enthused, Elior acquiesced. "Alright..."

Leo was aware that the two wild beastmen were Emperor ranks and in the past had intended to inform the other members of Beast City's council, but chose not to because of his ego. Consequently, neither Sorrel and Onyx knew about this matter, and still somewhat bitter, he didn't plan to inform them of this now.

When Azazel and Elior released their Emperor rank pressure, everyone present except Sorrel, Onyx and Jun fell to their knees. Leo was surprised by the power and weight of their pressure. What he felt before was nothing compared to now. Had they been lenient the first time?

Onyx appeared calm and unaffected, but inside he was struggling. He was one Emperor beastman while they were two. Not only that, he could tell from their pressure alone that they had been Emperor rank longer than him. Outnumbered and outclassed, he couldn't win. Sorrel looked around with confusion when he saw sweat drip down the side of Onyx's face.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"They are also Emperor rank," Onyx snarled before turning around and walking away. He wasn't going to fight a losing battle after working so hard to obtain Beastmen City. Those two seemed uninterested in Beast City so he wasn't going to risk provoking them. "We have to go."

At first, Sorrel's desire for Azazel and Elior was reignited—Emperor rank!—but it fizzled out until there was only unresolved resentment left. He deserved the most powerful men and yet they didn't want him, the "perfect" female but a "failed" female like Faye? In his eyes, they instantly became beneath him, unworthy of his attention.

Jun read all of these hidden thoughts while observing Sorrel. To reach such a delusional level of arrogance and entitlement—the protagonist was truly imp! Whatever. He didn't care as long as they were left in peace.

After all the drama left, Jun breathed a sigh of relief. "We should leave here soon."

Azazel and Elior couldn't agree more and started to pack their things immediately. They took only the bare necessities and left Beastmen City that night. As they were leaving, Jun made eye contact with the villainess and nodded at her. She, too, was leaving for better pastures. A few months later, Jun received the Main Mission completion notice.

Congratulations, dearest Host, on completing the Main Mission and Hidden Mission safely for the first time! You will now be under the lifetime protection period while in this world. No Misfortune, Disaster, or Death will come your way. Will you choose to stay in this world or leave?

Obviously, I choose to stay.

Then this is goodbye, for now, Host, until the day you naturally leave this world.

Yeah...

It was a little bittersweet, but now Jun would be able to spend hundreds of years with Azazel and Elior, more than enough to make up for all the lost time in the previous two worlds.

Years passed. Little One, Little Two, and Little Three didn't leave in a month like Elior predicted but stayed until they became adults at the age of 3 and successfully changed into their human forms. Seeing three versions of a younger Elior was a bit uncanny. Having been exposed to their parents' relationship for years, they left to find their own sweethearts.

Jun only gave birth once more, and it was to a female wolf beastman. The pregnancy lasted nine whole months and they had to rely on a herbivorous tribe's witch doctor for the delivery, which was a magical experience that can't be explained by science.

No, really, there was a certain magical fruit females consumed when birthing mammalian or female offspring that transported them outside the womb and into the world like a teleportation device. Jun was just relieved he didn't have to push an actual small being out from that passage. It was already bad enough that he had done it for the little snakes.

The little girl was named Luna and raised by them until she became an adult female at the age of 17. Being raised by two Emperor rank fathers, she was naturally fierce, strong and a good marksman with a bow and arrow under Jun's influence. They felt she was independent enough to travel the world on her own as she desired.

Around the same time Jun was nearing 40—though he still looked the same as when he was 17— and he had been with Azazel and Elior for more than 20 years, which was an impressive feat compared to the last two worlds, though he still had plenty of time in this world.

At the moment, he was watching the sunset while resting his head on Elior's shoulder and curled up in his embrace. Azazel was also beside him, massaging his hand and fingers. Jun yawned.

"Tired?" Azazel asked with a squeeze of his hand.

"Mmm."

"Go to sleep, baby. We'll be here when you wake up."

Jun smiled and closed his eyes. These days, he had been strangely feeling so fatigued that the time he slept was longer than the time he stayed awake, and the time spent asleep kept increasing.

As Jun laid there, looking so peaceful to Azazel and Elior,  a certain sense of uneasiness washed over them as they felt they had witnessed this familiar scene long ago. Azazel leaned in and whispered, "Babe?"

Jun wasn't breathing anymore. Azazel tightened his grip on Jun's hand and laid soft kisses on his eyelids. Realization settled in his eyes when he met Elior's serious gaze. They nodded at each other before their bodies dispersed into thousands of firefly lights along with Jun's.

The sight of endless space was not what Jun was expecting to see when he woke up.

"Dearest Host, you're ok!" System 00 floated over and hopped around with much concern.

Jun frowned. "What happened? Didn't I still have hundreds of years left in that world?"

"This system doesn't know, Host!"

He looked at the system with distrust. "I want to use a Redo."

System 00 appeared to be panicked as he twirled around restlessly. "Unfortunately Host, Redo can only be used when you fail the Main Mission but complete the Hidden Mission at the cost of a memory fragment..."

"Then it's useless, isn't it?" Jun asked with repressed anger.

"Ah Ah Ah, I'm so sorry I'm so useless, Host. Uwu." System 00 didn't have hands or paws but Jun could almost visualize him huddling behind some. Sighing, Jun palmed his face. Nothing ever seemed to work out for him. He still couldn't figure out how to use a Rewind. At least, he got to spend a longer time with those two this time. "Host, this system thinks that there may be something wrong with your body in your origin world that may have affected the world just now."

"What could be wrong with it other than it's dead?" Jun asked with an unamused face.

"Um... Actually, your original body isn't dead."

A/N: That's the end of the beastmen arc! There is a short extra smut chapter after this and then it's the next arc... MMORPG yikes. I had a lot of fun with this arc and the smut... lol. Too much fun maybe... Thanks again to readers for reading, commenting, voting, and rating! ????

As always, with a new arc, there'll be a special 3 chapter release on Monday, 11/15. But next arc will be the last time I do that, since arcs 5+ are 10 chapters or less... ????

Also, question for readers... Just curious... Who do you like more? Azazel or Elior? I like both... But I created them so that doesn't count lol.
