Chapter 43: Chapter 40: Group Activity

After a month...

Rozkarl and Nishery became much closer and more comfortable with one another.. as their parents have gladly accepted both of them and were even supportive of their relationship. Hero, who was annoyed by Rozkarl can't help but gradually accept Rozkarl as well since he can't just find any flaws within his sister's boyfriend. Rozkarl was just too perfect or if he have some flaws.. then he was near to perfection.

Jack, Shane, Max, and Kelly also become much closer to each other as the two families often have a shared meal because their children, getting in love with one another. Rozkarl and his father have also already fixed their relationship, as Max becomes more open and supportive to his son.

Meanwhile, Nishery, Mickaella, and Sophia have not still improved their friendship as the three really hate one another, even if they tried to hide it.. at some point.. it will still be apparent. Mickaella and Tyron have not also reconciled ever since that fight... as the two got even more distant from each other, while Sophia seems to make some improvements as Tyron starting to like how persistent she is.

Sophia has never given up on him, despite how cold he treats her.. she always tried to please him even though disgust was his reaction.. thus making his view about her change.

As the five of them have grouped themselves for their project in math, they have decided to meet up at Nishery's house to finish their project as the deadline comes closer.

In Nishery's house...

Nishery was busy organizing herself as she make herself presentable for her upcoming visitors when she was caught by his father.. who was grinning from ear to ear.

"Rozkarl has already been crazy for you.. so what's the point of making yourself beautiful?" Jack teased his daughter who got instantly annoyed.

"Dad! Do you know how to knock?! And besides... What's wrong with impressing him?"

"Hahaha.. I never expected you to be this in love as well. Just yesterday.. you said you hate him for leaving you alone in that amusement park." Jack.. remembering how his daughter got jealous of one girl that Rozkarl tried to help her... can't help but smile annoyingly.

"Dad!! I.. I didn't get angry!" Nishery tried to deny but seeing her vivid action.. she just make it obvious that Jack said the truth.

"Oh.. Nishery.. Rozkarl and your other three classmates are here." Shane.. who pinch his husband said to Nishery.. making the latter immediately go downstairs.

"Excited to see him? Didn't you just see each other yesterday?"

"Dad!! Don't.. don't dare say anything thing like that in front of my classmates.. or else.. I won't talk to you again." Nishery warns for the last time.

In the living room...

Five figures sat on the couch, with three being uncomfortable.

"Oh.. if it's not Rozkarl." Hero.. who got along well with Rozkarl now said before sitting beside him.

"You don't forget what you promised me back then, right?" Hero asked expectantly.

"Eh? What is it?" Rozkarl acts like he forgot what he just promised, teasing Hero.

"Rozkarl! Don't you dare forget it! If you forget it, then just break up with her!" Hero was angry in that instant as he glared at Rozkarl.

"Haha.. Just kidding. I still remember that I promised to come along with you on your trip to that island." 

"That's good. Wait... You three.. don't you mind if you come along with me, Nishery, Rozkarl to the Unknown Island?" Hero, thinking that's the more the merrier, asked the three as well.. who got somewhat envious to see how Hero and Rozkarl act close towards each other.

"Unknown Island? Is.. is that your Island, Hero?" Mickaella said.. as her interest was piqued.. as she was thinking that it might be her chance to be close with Rozkarl. Despite seeing how Nishery and Rozkarl act lovey-dovey in front of her for one month, she.. she still can't forget or erased her feelings for him.

"Can.. can I come along, Brother Hero?" Sophia asked.. somewhat embarrassed.

"Eh.. that's sounds familiar... Wait.. you're.." Hero.. hearing that familiar tone and that address for him... find it to be too familiar and look at Sophia confused.

"So.. brother Hero still remembered me. That's good then." Sophia said, giving Hero the smile she always gives him when they were still a child.

"Oh! You were that kid back then! So it was you, Sophia." Hero who got carried away went to Sophia's side as he pats her head.

"Hahaha.. this is so familiar. I used to do it to you a lot back then, right?" 

"Brother! What.. what are you doing?! Mom! Dad! Hero is harassing Sophia!" Nishery, who was walking downstairs unexpectedly saw Hero patting Sophia and was surprised.

Jack and Shane.. hearing what Nishery said, went to look below, but seeing Sophia.. they just ignore it.

"Eh.. Nishery.. you're exaggerating things. Those two are childhood friends.. can't you remember it?"

"Eh? Childhood friend... No. I can't remember her as my childhood friend."

"Sorry. I thought you're harassing her.. so I would really react that way."

"Oh.. so you two are close, huh?" Rozkarl said as he look at Hero with some meaning.. making Hero cough.

"Rozkarl! What.. what are you trying to say! Don't dare start a fight with me again!"

"Hahaha.. but.. I didn't do anything." Rozkarl just laugh as he pulled Nishery in his embrace.

"Hey.. can't you act so lovey-dovey in front of us?" Mickaella can't help but be annoyed to see Nishery being in Rozkarl's embrace.

'That's supposed to be my place!' Mickaella thought as hatred start to show.

"Hahaha, so Mickaella still like my brother-in-law? If I were you.. just give up. There are a lot of boys out there. Ahahah."

"Well.. is it fine if I want you, then?" Mickaella, who heard that advice from someone who also hates the two, in the beginning, was annoyed as she glared at Hero.

"Oh.. really? I wouldn't mind then?" Hero.. who was provoked by Mickaella.. changes seat again as he moves closer to Mickaella.

"What.. What are you doing?! Move away from me!" Mickaella.. feeling that face coming closer to her.. was now more annoyed as she didn't expect Hero to embarrass her.

"Hahaha.. you're just good with words." Hero said.. mocking Mickaella.

Hearing that, Mickaella gritted her teeth in annoyance as he look can kill Hero.

"Brother! Just go upstairs! Don't bother us."

"Nishery.. don't treat me like a disturbance." Hero felt wronged.

"Pfft--" Mickaella can't help but laugh which caught Hero's attention.

"Brother! Just go!"

Hero had no choice but to go upstairs, but before he do so.. he glared at Mickaella as he become angry at her. That girl was getting on his nerve this past few days now. One time.. when Nishery has brought him as well when the five of them went to Rozkarl, Mickaella treated him as an outcast, then that one time as well, when Dela Cruz and Delos Reyes families got a shared meal, Mickaella actually embarrassed him by blaming him for making her spill his drinks. And also, there's been a time when the two got in a fight as the two unexpectedly oppose one another's opinion.

"Well, see you later.. Soph." Hero to avert his anger.. look at Sophia before waving.

A certain someone actually felt something wrong within himself as he looks at Hero. Annoyance seem to surface on his handsome face as he saw how Sophia look at Hero.

"See you then, brother Hero." 

"Oh.. Sophia.. seems to be close with my brother, ah?" Nishery.. seeing the strangeness between the two.. said in a teasing tone.

"Hahaha.. well, it might not be impossible for Hero to like Sophia." Rozkarl agreed with Nishery.

"So you like that rude gay? I thought you like Tyron." Mickaella, who still maintains her hostility said to Sophia.

"Who said I like brother Hero? Don't start it again, Mickaella!" Sophia throws the hostility back toward Mickaella.

"Ha! If you don't like him, why are you looking at him that way?!" Tyron asked in a raised tone.

"Oh.. is the coward jealous? Hahaha, as the phrase said, people change." Mickaella looks at Tyron and finds it pleasing to tease the latter.

"Who said I'm jealous?! Why would I get jealous?" Tyron, who was good at acting.. convinced everyone, disappointing Sophia.

"I see. Then Sophia.. why don't you try giving up on him then? Just go with that rude gay." Mickaella who was not convinced by Tyron wants to rile him up.

Nishery hearing Mickaella talking bad about his brother can't help but be annoyed, fortunately, she can still suppress it. Tyron hearing that seems to be a little reluctant but still maintains his calmness since he can't embarrass himself.

"Mickaella! Just stop it! I don't want to fight. And besides, it's more obvious that you like Brother Hero." Sophia said in annoyance... surprising the other's figure.
