Chapter 45: Romantic turmoil and mind down

Alastair continued his training while he waited for the rest of the party to show up while ignoring the others conversations. this continued for another hour before he felt a chill down his spine for some reason and dissipated his magic and opened his eyes. there in front of him were both jade and erisa looking at him with wide smiles that deeply concerned him. "is there something i can help you both with?" he asked nervously. erisa looked at jade "do you wanted tell him or should i?" she asked playfully giving alastair ominous vibes.

Jade just smiled widely " you should do it." she said calmly. erisa nodded and looked back at alastair who had already gotten to his feet and watched on anxiously. "we have decided that rather than fight over you we will just share you." she said with a wide grin as alastair paled immediately. "wait how came either of you accept such a thing?" he asked incredulously. jade spoke up "oh , that was easy since her people have such low numbers having multiple spouses is considered a boon. as for my self i go both ways so this works perfectly for me." she said calmly.

Alastair felt like he might have doomed himself by not listening to erik earlier. "fuck." was all he said at this situation he found himself in. "oh , good we had the exact same idea." erisa said with a smile as both she and jade began to walk towards his escape paths. alastair saw the hungry look in both the women's eyes and knew they were serious. "nope." and he immediately fled as fast as he could by jumping over the bridge that lead to the water bellow. the fall was fast and ended quickly with him impacting the water head first forcefully.

The entire party including erisa and jade looked on as alastair swam towards sylvando's ship at rapid speeds with stunned expressions. "did he actually just...?" veronica asked in disbelief. "aye , that he did lass." rab said calmly. "hard to believe someone would actually run from an offer like that." erik said honestly earning him a stare from all of the women. "what? two beautiful women wanting to sleep with you is most men's fantasy." erik said defensively. "is that actually true?" serena asked rab curiously. "lads not wrong lass , though us auld men are beyond that mostly." he said with a nod.

"I am surprised you are ok with this situation old man." erik said with interest. "i would be lying if i said it didn't surprise me , but it's the lads life , i just want him to be happy." rab said honestly. "on an unrelated note did you get permission to pass through the seagate?" erik asked changing the subject. "i did indeed though it was a shame my auld pal wasn't in town." rab said calmly. after that the rest of the party left the town and made their way to the ship.

Alastair had been smart and taken up residence in the crows nest at the top of the main mast. this was smart because by simply training his magic control like he had early from that spot makes it nearly impossible for anyone else to fit into the spot since all the rest of the space was filled with unstable elemental magic. this didn't stop erisa and jade though as erisa changed into her dragon form and simply floated above the ship with jade on her back. alastair had no choice but to push his control and cover a small dome around him with his magic.

Which was no small feat evidenced by the copious amounts of sweat pouring from him. "you can't hide from us forever you will need rest eventually!" jade yells down at him before the two girls land back on the deck in a huff. alastair knew she was right but one of his greatest flaws is how ridiculously stubborn he was. despite the severe mental strain it put on him alastair kept his elemental bubble active for the rest of the day as well as the entire night. the next day however early in the morning he lost consciousness.

Veronica and serena were the most worried about him when they saw this since it was a sign of a rare but dangerous state known as mind down. this state only happened if a mage pushed their magic beyond what they are currently capable of by a large amount. the reason for its rarity was that the mage usually headed the warning headache that tells them they reached their limit. alastair didn't wake no matter what the party tried for an entire week which had them greatly worried and even made erisa and jade feel a bit guilty.

The two girls spent most of the time by his side as he rested leaving only to relieve themselves and eat. at the end of the week alastair woke up and immediately was smothered in two pairs of breast as the two girls hugged him. he wanted to resist but found his body lacking any strength with the exception of his blood flow that accelerated as a certain part of his body engorged itself. the two women noticed this large protrusion and looked at each other with a grin before warning the rest of the party not to disturb them.
