Chapter 98: Eve ravenwatch

The vampire sniffed the air an turned to look at alastair with a deep hunger in her eyes before vanishing in a cloud of bats. before he could react alastair felt fangs touch his neck where they met the resistance of his highly durable skin. this obviously was outside of the vampires expectation since she stopped briefly at which point alastair flung her off of him with a violent backhanded swing of his left arm. this launched the vampire into a nearby wall hard enough to crack the stone despite alastair reinforcing it which was enough for some sense of reason to appear on her face.

"Ugh , where am i?" she asked with a confused expression but alastair didn't relax since the short exchange just now told him she was a danger to himself. "i-i was on my way to - but then they... THOSE BASTARDS!" alastair heard the vampire trying to remember what happened before cursing for some reason. the vampires eyes shot to look at alastair and he tensed his body for combat with metalbane at the ready. "calm yourself , i am in control now." the vampire said and alastair felt a magical force try to control him which he shrugged off instantly surprising the vampire.

"I just made things worse it seems." the vampire said with a sigh. "i truly do mean you no harm." she says while holding up her hands as a sign of surrender. alastair observed her expression and body language for a moment before slowly sheathing metalbane and reaching into his satchel. the vampire watched on without trying to stop him but was confused when she saw him pull out a simple white dress. it only took a moment for her to take a look at herself and see her lack of clothing before she freaked out and tried to cover her private parts with her hands.

"Don't look!" she screeched with a shy expression. alastair tossed the dress to the vampire expressionlessly before leaving the room though he still maintained his vigilance. a few minutes latter the vampire walked out of the room and looked at alastair with a mixed expression of anger , embarrassment and the ever present hunger. "how did you know my size , did you ogle me?" she asked angrily. alastair shook his head "my wife jade has a similar size so i just gave you one of her dresses." he said calmly despite the angry vampire questioning him.

The vampire calms down considerably when she heard alastair say he was married since it meant he was not interested in her body. the truth of the matter was far different than her thoughts however since in any other situation alastair would definitely enjoy an eyeful but he was in full blown combat mode making him completely focused. obviously alastair wasn't going to explain this to her and so only told her about jade having a similar size to drop the subject. "so this may seem odd but can i have some of your blood?" she asked awkwardly.

Seeing as she didn't seem likely to attack him alastair visibly relaxed and shook his head before showing some of his death power. "my blood is full of this power as well as holy power so it would more likely than not kill you , no guarantee though so if you want to test your luck by all means." he said with a teasing smile. "probably best i don't , though i will need to feed soon or i might attack the first person i see." she said honestly. "would an argonian work?" he asked calmly.

She nodded "though i would prefer if it was a criminal if at all possible." alastair nodded " the one i have in mind is part of a murderous bandit group who raid crashed ships killing those onboard." he said honestly. she smiled "sounds perfect , where is he?" she asked expectantly. "give me a moment." alastair said before projecting his magic up and through the earth until he reached solitude above them at which point he located jaree-ra who was trying to find someone to turn off the lighthouse for his next raid. with a pop jaree-ra teleported from solitude into the room right in front of the vampire who wasted no time.

Jaree-ra barely had time to scream before his neck was snapped and all of his blood was drained leaving a desiccated husk. once done with her meal the vampire sighed in satisfaction before looking at alastair "i am eve ravenwatch of clan ravenwatch a pleasure to meet you all things considered." eve introduced herself formally.

Also i feel like i need to explain that despite what it may seem this story is not in fact a harem story since i have no intention of having alastair pick up chicks like pennies on the sidewalk. even the three wives he has are temporary and will be removed eventually.
