Humans, they have always pushed the bounds of reality as they know it. Always feeding their curious minds to explore the unknown. The past was filled with lost knowledge of ancestors long past. The universe as vast as it is was filled with mystery.

Humankind cannot live without knowing what lies beyond. In 2008 the greatest minds got together to create a particle accelerator in order to better understand the big bang.

Repeat until you get your desired outcome. It is a saying no one ever says but everyone knows. This nature is pre-installed in every human. So when the world's greatest couldn't get what they wanted they continued to expand upon their idea.

Dangerous as it seemed the fansicating discoveries awaited millions. The few that spoke against it were overshadowed. There was only one thing humans knew how to do. Resolve their curiosity.

In late 2025 the new and improved particle accelerator was ready for testing. Phase one started and the effect was so catastrophic no one was prepared.

James S. Lewis proposed that there was a chance the Cruelion Particle Accelerator or CPA could create a black hole. Everyone agreed that it was possible but the chance was only one percent.

When the particles collied against one another at close to the speed of light scientist should have witnessed a small bang. Something to give them a clue as to how the universe was actually formed.

Sandra Brown was a physicist known for her thesis on the mandella effect and how the event in 2008 has driven the world to continously shift realities. From one point to another our world was on a move and the result was people remembering events that haven't occurred yet.

She believed that a worse event would happen if CPA was allowed to be started. Stating that we could warp reality as we know it stepping into a dimension unknown to us.

Mark V. Nelson the head researcher in charge of CPA ignored the countless warnings of others. Stating that they had no proof. He should have listened.

The CPA ran just as it was supposed to and it took hours before an outcome came to be. The entire world was covered in a pink and purplish light that replaced the sky. A portal as big as the Statue of Liberty emerged in France where the CPA was located. 

In seconds the world flew into a panic as everyone assumed this was the end. Mark V. Nelson along with the other researchers present were all sucked into the portal.

Even now, no one knows where they are.

The event did not end the world as many so believed. It lasted for more than five hours but besides ten cities in France the rest of the world was fine. When the portal vanished everyone assumed it was the end. Especially once the sky returned to normal.

This catastrophic event was dubbed Aurora Fusion. All particle accelerators or any experiments that pushed the boundaries of human knowledge were banned.

In place of the lost ten cities was a giant crater. The center was a ten mile wide hole that no one dared approach.

The Aurora Fusion event changed the world. At that time no one knew the changes that occurred to the planet.

A week after the event all electronics stopped functioning.

Six months after millions of people went into unexplained comas.

Two years after we discovered we were not alone.

Humans have always pushed their limits. But this time, we have went too far.
