I thought they would try to set me up, but being brought to the adventurer's guild without trying anything else surprised me.

There were also several quest boards that had a little sign indicating what type of quest to put on.

I read some that said monster hunting, caravan escorting, capturing or hunting magical beasts

Beatrice walked to the reception area and started talking to the receptionist.

"Sarah, how are you?"

“Oh Beatrice, have you finished your escort mission yet?”

“Yes, the trip was a bit boring because nothing interesting happened, but when I was walking around the city with Marlos we found a very interesting boy”

Beatrice said while pointing at me, the receptionist had a poker look on her face.

"You shouldn't bring children to this place, they may be intimidated by some adventurers."

"Don't worry about it, I don't think that kid is bullied."

"How can I become an adventurer?"

When I said that all the people who were chatting around looked at me before they burst out laughing.

A man who seemed to be 30 years old with a beard stopped laughing and said

"Boy you better not try to become an adventurer at your age, I don't know what your situation is and why you need money, but if you already went through awakening you better get into some other kind of guild that focuses on production or collection”

I was going to answer you until I heard the receptionist

"He's right, many 10-year-olds when they go through awakening and receive a profession try to join the adventurer's guild and usually die very early, that's why the guild set a minimum of 15 years to enter"

After listening to her I just shrugged my shoulders and dropped this topic.

“Kid, do you want to go to the tavern next door?”

After that, Beatrice, Marlos, and I left the adventurer's guild and went to the tavern next door.

I don't have the music in the background, but still my voice is very good so I don't think it matters much

While I was singing I didn't hear any boos or applause, I didn't know if I was doing it right or wrong, but I kept singing

When I finished, the 4 minutes had already passed and the reaction of the people who were listening was some applause and whistles.

“That was awesome kid” that was the kind of feedback I got and some people started putting some copper and silver coins into what looked like a leather bag and handed it to me

I don't think he did very well, but I put it down to the fact that the main reason for his reaction is because I'm a boy.

In this kind of place there must be a lot of adult bards or singers so it must be new to see a child participate

After the bag of coins was handed to me, I went to Beatrice and Marlos

“Thank you so much for guiding me around the city, it was fun hanging out with you guys”

"You see, child, you shouldn't be so serious all the time, but you must be careful with the places you visit."

“Do you want us to walk you back? It is getting dark and although the city is well lit by magic lanterns it is still dangerous to walk alone”

“Thank you very much for your invitation, but it is not necessary”

Once I said, I left the tavern and went into a dark alley

Once I made sure no one saw me, I put the leather bag with magical beast eggs and the money bag on the ground.

I felt the approximate location of Angelina and Alicia so I changed to my Libstrus avatar

I picked up the bags and started to create portals on top of the roofs and cross them until I got close to the inn where we planned to spend the night, from there I started walking until I reached the place

I don't know if there will be people who have seen me, but it doesn't matter much because by tomorrow we will leave this city

It was already getting dark and the magic streetlights were already turning on

After arriving and entering the inn I saw my parents sitting at a table on the first floor with the girls

It seems that Estefany looks better than before

I showed them the bag of coins and then I showed them the bag of eggs

"By the way, Saya, what did you do while you were walking around the city?"

“It was actually a lot of fun I ate things I had never tried before”

"I saw someone doing magic shows even though they don't use real magic and above all we went to buy clothes for Alejandra and Estefany, although we didn't know Estefany's size we made an approximation of what it would be"

I don't really like shopping for clothes, so it was a good decision not to accompany them.

After some conversations, the hostess from the inn arrived and we started to have dinner.

When we finished dinner we went upstairs to sleep and I told mom to show me the room where I have to sleep

"Go sleep with your sisters, plus your dad and I thought we'd sleep together tonight"

"It's okay"

After that I followed my sisters and Alejandra who went to one of the 4 rooms while our parents went to one that was in front

After we entered I could only see a double adult bed

I got on the bed while they did too

I was sheltering myself until Saya started shaking me

"Zack, can you tell us everything you did today?"

"I thought I already said it when we had dinner"

“I know that what you said is just an abridged or altered version of what you actually did”

While she was asking me, I could see that Estefany was a bit uncomfortable.

“Alejandra, can you explain my situation to her?”

After Alejandra listened to me, she began to explain what was happening with me to Estefany

"Don't try to change the subject"

"Okay, I'll tell you what I did."

"It's simple, I explored the city a bit and found a store where they sold magical beast eggs"

"I bought some very good ones that were very cheap, and then I went to visit the adventurer's guild."

"And when I finished my visit I went to a place to sing and they gave me some money"

"Oh, I know you're leaving out some details, but I'll take it this time."

After that the girls began to chat, but the one leading the conversation was Saya while Estefany and Alejandra nodded or gave short answers.

“Do you want me to play some of my songs?”

"Okay" Saya said

I started looking for some of the marbles that I kept in the suitcase that I brought with me

"Mom put your suitcase in the corner"

"Thank you"

I told him as he picked up the marbles and looked at which ones he wanted

I selected three and put them in my sister's magic tool

They seem to like the songs I played for them

After they started to feel sleepy I played a relaxing song so they can sleep well

"Goodnight"

I told them when I saw that they were already beginning to fall asleep

I sheltered them with the sheet because right now it was a bit cold and after I finished doing it I lay down between them and went to sleep when the song finished
