"Then why did you want to meet me?" Jun asked [Shiki].

She smiled.

"Curiosity mostly." [Shiki] casually revealed.

"Care to elaborate?" Jun requested.

It was then that [Shiki] revealed the core of her personality, her reason for seeking Jun and even why she had chosen this particular timing to do so.

"From the moment I was born, I felt like this entire World held no more mysteries for me. As such, I just elected to sleep, let the other two personalities I created according to my family's wishes and designs take over while I slept." [Shiki] shared.

The reason she had felt that way, was that being born directly connected to the Root in such a natural and powerful away, gave her the ability to instantly read all the records within, giving her perfect knowledge of past present and future.

Anything that might occur was already known to her, true Omniscience that robbed her of any interest she had towards living any sort of life in this World she was born in.

"But then, a while ago, a new arrival awoke me from my slumber. One connected to the Root like I was, appearing out of nowhere and changing events into a form I never witness, new records were being formed and I could not tell what would happen. It was thrilling." [Shiki] revealed with an excited smile.

"For the first time, something unexpected for me came to pass. It was terrifying, exhilarating and moving, all at the same time." She described her feelings.

"A being whose existence I could not see through, changing everything by merely existing. So much so that I could no longer see the future so long as they were a part of it. Such a unique experience drew me in and I found myself watching over you through my connection." [Shiki] confessed.

"I wanted to seek you out but I did not want to alarm you so I held back. Recently however, I discovered you would be ascending to a realm where even I could not reach. I was afraid to be blown off if I tried reaching you after that transformation was completed." She began to explain.

"As such, I began to plan out a way to arrange a meeting between the two of us. I knew Manaka-chan here knew of you as well and would seek you out but her weaker connection meant that even though she knew of your existence, the details she had were vague."

"Inevitably, she would seek out someone like me who also possessed a connection in order to get a clearer view." [Shiki] unabashedly explained how she predicted Manaka's desires and actions and used them to her advantage, leaving a sour taste in her partner's mouth.

"I influenced my outer personality to cooperate and seek you out while making Manaka-chan's method of getting a clear picture of you effective enough to find you but vague enough not to alarm you, thus allowing for a smooth setup for a face to face meeting." She concluded the explanation for her master plan.

Needless to say, Manaka and Jun were pretty shocked. He most of the pair. In his whole existence since his reincarnation into this new life by the mysterious entity, it was the first time Jun had been played so perfectly.

For all his abilities, his knowledge of the Nasuverse, his power mental processing, his extreme supernatural perception, in spite of all these advantages, he was played so perfectly he never even caught an inkling of it until the individual who played him told him herself.

It was honestly quite the humbling experience and a very valuable one, even if disconcerting.

As for Manaka, she was straight up used and manipulated so even though she got exactly what she wanted, it was hard to feel perfectly happy about it. No one likes to be in such a position after all.

[Shiki] noticed the silence that installed itself in the room and asked very innocently.

"Something wrong?"

Jun came to and replied without thinking about it to much, knowing that considering how easily [Shiki] had played him, she could have done a lot of harm already if she wanted too.

"I was just deciding whether to be angry at you for playing me, disappointed at myself for being played or simply impressed at your flawless playing." He said while shaking his head with a wry smile.

"I would suggest the third option." [Shiki] smiled and responded.

"Yeah . . . I guess that would be best for both of us eh?" Jun commented, to which the overpowered childish onee-san just nodding with a half listlessly pleasing, half listlessly annoying smile.

"Moving on though, Manaka wanted to come with me and such but what is it that you wanted out of this meeting Shiki-san?" He then asked her.

"I didn't really had a plan, I simply wished to meet with you face to face and see how it went so I have no concrete intentions really, never bothered to think about them." [Shiki] replied.

"Though now that you mention it . . ." She fell into thought and Jun let her ponder without interruption. Manaka was still sulking over being used and not really wanting to make conversation for now so silence settled in once more while [Shiki] thought.

Suddenly though, she clapped her hands as if light had just been made.

"Although you can't use it right now due to being mid transformation, you can make powerful vessels for your people yes?" [Shiki] inquired.

The rather specific nature of the question made her intentions quite obvious while also making Jun wonder exactly how much did she actually know about him.

"You're correct but how exactly did you know this?" He asked.

"You've parked your mobile home inside the Root of Akasha. It's like giving me a front row seat to whatever your doing there." [Shiki] teasingly smiled as she answered.

Jun suddenly felt like slapping himself hard for not realizing something so simple. His act of placing Domina Coronam made it nearly impossible to reach for almost everyone but made it complete vulnerable to anyone with a powerful enough connection though [Shiki] was the only one who could really exploit that.

Not to mention that Jun didn't even bother to spend energy keeping defensive and anti spying systems active since no one could possible reach them or even see into the Root to peep on whatever they were doing there.

He was right for the most part but his actions basically gave [Shiki] unrestricted access to all o0f his secrets, he really wanted to find a bottomless hole and jump in right about now, for making such a blunder of colossal proportions.

If [Shiki] had any form of ill intent towards him or his people, they would be absolutely done.

Then again, he should really blame himself too much since the blunder was not so big as he thought it to be.

In truth, anyone or anything with a sufficiently powerful connection to the Root to take advantage of his mistake would have similar personality traits as [Shiki], thus making it highly unlikely they would seek to do him harm for no reason.

Whatever the case, Jun liked his privacy and knew his girls liked it as well so he was going to activate all those systems he didn't use right away once he returned.

With his mind's power however, all these thoughts occured faster than the blink of an eye, creating no weird pause as [Shiki] made her predictable request.

"I would like for you to make such a vessel for me once it becomes possible. I will leave this body to my other personality and accompany you using that new one." She proposed.
