"What the hell was that?"
'Since despite his relationship to Cleria Belial, Yaegaki Masaomi was still a believer, the Heaven's System of this world protected his soul from you.' Ahsaka deduced.
'Tch! Well, at least I got the other one just fine . . .' Jun thought to himself as he calmed down.
'Instead of offering a continuation of life after death with each other as a gift in return for loyalty, I can offer Cleria a chance for revenge . . .' He modified his previous plan to compensate for the unfortunate circumstances.
Both the familiars soon returned and Jun had to go and stabilize Huginn before it broke down due to the damage it received.
'This seem a bit to heavy for an automated response protecting a the soul of a mere exorcist . . .' He considered.
Ahsaka once again offered her deductions.
'The church's abilities, even in the Nasuverse work the best against spiritual entities with a particular focus of those affiliated with darkness and the like.' She explained.
'I suspect the Huginn's spiritual nature and the fact the he was not materialized enhanced the damage he received, the fact the another more powerful exorcist was praying for the soul in the vicinity might have also increased the interference.' Ahsaka concluded.
'Ahsaka, when it comes to this world, you speak with less certainty, using expressions like "might", "suspect" and such much more than when it comes to the Nasuverse.' Jun commented.
'My knowledge is tied to the Nasuverse after all. When it comes to this universe, I can only speculate and extrapolate from the things that I know so my answers will not be as accurate.' Ahsaka revealed.
'Oh! Never thought about that!" Jun replied.
'You theory seem quite reasonable to me though.' He supported but got no further response.
While one of his partitions was talking to Ahsaka, two others were reviewing each of the battles more closely while the last was controlling his body to stabilize and heal Huginn.
When the partition talking to Ahsaka ended its conversation, it went into the Akashic Throne to speak to Cleria.
Normally, those inside were asleep until they were summoned but they could be awakened at Jun's discretion, even if all they could do was communicate, which was what Jun's partition did.
"Hello Cleria Belial:" Jun greeted.
"A child?" Cleria responded. still out of it.
"I didn't die?" She asked.
"Afraid you did indeed die Cleria-san." Jun replied.
"Then how are we talking?" She continued to ask.
"I've recovered your disembodied soul." Jun once again responded.
". . ." Cleria fell into silence.
'She's quite beautiful now that I'm seeing her up close.' Jun frivolously thought.
Cleria Belial was a woman of average height with waist length, somewhat bushy, grey hair and grey eyes. Her features were those of a beautiful noble woman but her expression was more like that of a curious young girl.
"I see . . ." She finally responded.
"You seem quite calm for a dead woman." Jun commented.
"There's no point in making a fuss. Besides, I'm curious on why you "recovered my soul" as you said." Cleria said.
"Originally I was planning on recovering both you and your lover's soul and getting you to work for me as repayment for reuniting you after death pulled you both apart but the Heaven's System threw a wrench in those plans." Jun shrugged, confessing his previous plan with honesty.
"Wow! Can't believe you actually tried to do that. Messing with the spirits of the departed is something that the Heaven's System punishes severely due to it upsetting the cycle of reincarnation, especially when it is the soul of a believer." Cleria explained.
"Is that so?" Jun was honestly surprised but it did make sense.
"Yes. It's why the Sephiroth Graal is such a desired sacred gear. It allows one to do such things without any backlash and much more." Cleria added.
"Makes all kinds of sense. But moving back to the main business. I can bring you back to life, even if not exactly the same but as a sort of extremely powerful familiar. What would it take for you to accept such a contract?" Jun straightforwardly asked.
"I appreciate you honesty and despite not wanting something like revenge, there are a few things I'd like to due and I don't mind serving you in return so long as I am not forced to go against my consciousness." Cleria proposed.
"And what are those "few things" you mentioned?" Jun inquired.
"I need to share something with my cousin, Diehauser and let him no I do not want him to avenge me because I've no doubt he'll try." Cleria replied.
"I see . . . I cannot currently revive you as I lack the necessary magical energy but if it's just transmitting info, all I have to do is find your cousin but will have to be later since I'm quite weak right now and do not want to put myself in danger." Jun explained.
"Very well, I don't mind. So what is you name my new lord?" Cleria asked with a bit of a joking tone.
"It's Jun, Haikami Jun." The boy replied.
"I look forward to working with you then, Jun-sama." Cleria declared.
"Likewise Cleria-san." Jun replied.

'That went easier than expected.' He thought to himself.
"You can sleep for now since I can't have do anything before reviving you." Jun said.
"Or you can stay awake but I'll be the only one able to talk to you, and Ahsaka I guess." He added.
"Ahsaka?" Cleria asked.
"Say hi." Jun requested.
"Greetings Cleria Belial." Ahsaka said and removed her attention from the conversation entirely.
"Yah, she's not very sociable so you'll really only have me to talk to." Jun said.
"That's fine, can this empty place be modified?" Cleria asked."
It's your personal space in here so it should change as per your wishes." Jun informed.
"Then I'll remain awake. Pleased visit form time to time though, Jun-sama." Cleria chose.
"If that's what you want." Jun acquiesced before saying his goodbyes and leaving the Akashic Throne.
Now out, Jun began thinking on what he should do now.
'Huginn is back in shape and Cleria is on board with my idea so I should go back to training.' He thought.
'I guess the Shidou family is going to move out soon. . .' Jun considered.
'Well, let's go for a walk and think about how to organize my training from now on.' He decided and left his workshop.
Walking around town during the night and getting some of that fresh air to clear up his mind and give him good ideas.
'What kind of magecraft should I learn next . . .' He pondered.
'You may also want to expand your martial arts repertoire.' Ahsaka suddenly mentioned.
'Oh? Why?' Jun inquired, he was actually pretty satisfied with his current choices and only felt like he needed to deepen his training in them.
'Versatility.' Ahsaka replied.
'Although both arts are perfect for frontal unarmed combat, they lack weapon training and you should learn assassination styles of combat if you want to take down more powerful foes with surprise attacks.' She continued.
'If you had chosen to learn one such style, finishing off that Kawamura with the first attack would have been more likely but it would have decreased your chances of winning if it had failed.'
'However, now that you are competent in martial arts, you should branch out and, if you want to pursue martial arts as a tru path to power, you should eventually take all that you have learned and create your own style.' Ahsaka concluded.
'That actually makes sense. Great advice as always Ahsaka.' Jun praised.
'Any suggestions for my magecraft?' He asked.
'Should you be able to acquire resources, there are quite a few good option to complement your skill set but without any, I suggest Numerology since you basic spells can be considered as a part of the discipline and it actually has many uses, not only immediate one but for later down the line.'
'It can help you control and modify other spells, create intricate boundaries, even channel the forces of the elements. It can be used to regulate, control and enhance other disciples of magecraft as well.' Ahsaka suggested.
'Wow! You make me feel kind of stupid but that is indeed a great choice.' Jun responded while sporting an expression of being thankfully but feeling sorry for himself.
Unfortunately however, his walk of thoughts was about to be rudely interrupted by an old adversary.
"Hey worthless brat." A voice suddenly sounded out in the night.
"Huh?" Jun left his thoughts and saw a man in front of him, dressed in a priestly get up.
'I should have paid better attention to my surroundings . . .' He admonished himself.
Noticing he was in the park where Issei got killed in the first ep of the anime and stabbed later, he thought to himself.
'Man this park must be cursed or something.'
