Amidst the ruins of the building, a barrier filled with cracks and clearly on the verge of shattering held on regardless, Ajuka and Sirzechs had succeeded in protecting their people.

Ophis' snake, the source of power granted to the Satan descendants allowed them to survive though with heavy injuries but all the devils from their faction that followed them to the meeting were decimated.

As for the Great King Faction, their swift and decisive retreat allowed them to escape most of the blast since it was not aimed at them. There were still a few dead and a couple more injured but the grand majority of them were absolutely fine.

Morgan's following words however, were almost as damaging as Artoria's holy sword . . .

"It seems I have overestimated all your capabilities . . . To think the fragment of an attack not even aimed for you could leave you all in this state . . ."

The words were damaging enough on their own but Morgan's pure surprise at their weakness which was in no way fake or an attempt to mock them, made it all worse. It as if the Fairy Queen was feeling disappointed in herself for ever considering them to be worthy adversaries.

In truth, they were thinking to much. Although Morgan was indeed genuinely surprised at their incompetence, in all actuality, she had not considered them true opposition from the get go and neither did Jun.

The way he chose to handle things was mostly out of consideration for the ease of living in the DxD Verse and to maintain the world's stability because he was certainly powerful enough to trigger a catastrophic war to end all creation in DxD as it was considerably weaker than the Nasuverse.

Still, Morgan had expected a bit more out of Sirzechs and Ajuka. Even though were in a massively disadvantageous position when it came to the previous clash and due to not moving, had caught a good part of Artoria's attack, the fact the their joint barrier had barely held on was sincerely disappointing.

Yes, they were forced to put the barrier up in haste, yes excalibur was the holiest of holy swords and a critical weakness for devils like them, yes Artoria was one of the heaviest hitters in their group and yes that was far from Sirzechs' specialty and Ajuka did not have time to prepare his but still . . .

Compared to Sirzechs who specialized in destruction, Ajuka specialized in creation and his specialty, the Kankara Formula, was a method to control and/or reproduce any and all phenomena.

By analyzing the laws that composed any sort of power or ability, the green haired Satan could easily nullify or even turn them against their user, manipulating those powers eve more expertly them them.

Unfortunately for him, as Artoria originated from the Nasuverse, her power operated on laws that were utter and completely alien to them and it would take a while before he could even begin to analyze and understand them.

As a result, he was forced to deploy a normal magical barrier for defence and while he was a master magician . . . well, Artoria was not that easy to stop.

Back to the situation at hand however, Morgan and her group's pause made the others confused as to what their plan was since they seemed to not be interested in pressing their attack but were also in hurry to leave.

Soon however, countless messages began arriving by means of communication magic and even the daftest of devils present, immediately knew what was up.

Emergency alerts about attacks and ambushes where coming in from everywhere in the Devils' territory as Asako and Jack moved into action at the same time Artoria unleashed her might.

The heavily injured descendants of the four original Satans summoned their magical circles to teleport way but just as all others present though they would become the first sacrifice for the fearsome trio of women before them, said trio did nothing and let them leave.

Seeing this, the Great King Faction, at least a couple of its members immediately tried to do the same but Morgan instantly locked down the surrounding space completely with her magecraft, making them fail miserably.

"The rest of you will be staying here until our people are doen with their matters." Morgan announced and everyone tensed up.

The entire devil race was in chaos and they could not do anything about it, not even respond to the messages as even that became impossible after Morgan locked the space down.

Sirzechs and Ajuka were also seriously considering their option, Morgan was being far too militant for their taste. If she wanted to keep the Great King Faction there so be it, that was within their calculations. But keeping their people as well?

The crimson haired Satan began redying to seek out a more forceful resolution while Ajuka was giving it his all, using his special demonic power of calculations to try and work out the principles and laws behind whatever Morgan had done so that he could reverse it, or at the very least free himself from it.

"What is your goal here Lady Morgan?" Grayfia questioned, still unwilling to to fight because her instincs warned her it was a bad idea.

Sirzechs shared his wife's pressage but he was running out of options and if he still chose to act passively in this moment, his prestige and authority would be irreversibly damaged.

Morgan unhurriedly replied in the most natural of ways.

"We are just collecting our due. And no need to worry about our prisoners, we'll return them."

Safe to say, the devils were shocked. Why the sudden outburst of tolerance and generosity? They thought.

The Fairy Queen's following words however, swiftly erased their doubts replacing them with others.

"After we're done here, the entire world will know better, regardless of what we do with them after all."

'What does this wicked woman have in store for our people?' Was now the doubt in everyone's heart.
