The Winter Horned Bear isn’t done yet as it kept rushing towards Michael, while Miya hurriedly followed behind the two!

"Roar!"

"Damn you, bear! Shield Rampart!"

Bang!

Michael pulled out a Kite Shield from his Storage space and angrily slammed it down on the ground, and the shield slowly grew to become a two-meter in diameter Kite Shield!

BANG!

The White Horned Bear didn’t care about the sudden obstacle in front of it and ruthlessly rammed its head against the shield!

"Gulp" Michael gulped down as he stared down at the white horn that pierced through the shield and almost skewered him through his neck!

"He can even use a shield!?"

On the other hand, Miya was once again shocked when she had once again learned how absurd Michael’s class profession is!

"Miya!"

"Greater Heal!"

Miya was quickly awakened from her stupor as she hurriedly used another healing spell on Michael, which quickly brought his diminishing health points back to over fifty percent.

Michael quickly retreated back, abandoning his shield.

He pulled out his sword from storage space and prepared himself for the next attack of the Winter Horned-Bear.

"Roar!"

The Winter Horned-Bear angrily roared and shook off the stuck shield on its horns, before quickly turning its attention back to Michael.

"Michael, it’s using a skill! Look out!" Miya hurriedly yelled when she saw the monster’s horn shining with a dangerous light.

"Ohh, shit!" Michael cursed as he hurriedly bent his body to the side when he quickly noticed that the horn Winter Horned-Bear suddenly became longer like a spear and struck towards him!

But the horn barely grazed passed Michael’s body because he was able to notice it in time!

Sadly for Michael, the monster didn’t stop in its tracks as it came at him with a rush!

Boom!

But even though Michael managed to dodge that attack, what came after was a huge white paw that swiped towards him from the side and sent rolling on the ground like a puppet that lost its strings.

"Heal!"

And during that, a soft golden light fell upon Michael’s body just as he got attacked by the Winter Horned-Bear, which prevented him from almost getting killed.

Michael was rolling on the snowy ground, but he quickly pushed his body off the ground with his hands and hurriedly regained his footing.

"Cough! Cough! Cough!"

But he quickly started coughing out the snow that went inside his mouth, and he had tasted a funny taste during that.

"Ughh. that tasted really weird" Michael wore a disgusted look on his face, but his attention never once left the Winter Horned Bear.

The Winter Horned Bear had already halted in its tracks, as it just stood there in all fours, panting, while glaring at Michael with eyes filled with rage.

"Michael, use your hammer and pound the dagger stuck on its back!" Miya yelled towards him while making sure she keeps a distance from the monster, lest the aggro turns to her.

Michael nodded at her and quickly swapped his swords to his war hammer, and brought it before him.

"Roar!"

"Jesus Christ! Give me a break, dammit!" Michael rolled his eyes in annoyance when the Winter Horned Bear once again started to rush towards Michael like a mad bull!

"I told you before that this was a really bad idea!" Miya yelled with a gloating look on her face.

"Shut up, woman!" Michael couldn’t help but feel annoyed by her.

Michael decided to face the monster head-on as he also charged out towards it with his war hammer ready to pummel daylights out of the Winter Horned Bear!

ROAR!

The Winter Horned Bear didn’t stop and kept charging towards him, and when Michael was within its attacking range, it suddenly brought its body upwards and stood on its two feet, then angrily swiped his paw towards Michael from the side, and its claws shining with a deadly gleam!

"Hmmph!"

Michael snorted as he spun his body around, dodging the claw that was heading towards him, and he powerfully stepped hard on the ground as he leaped towards the Winter Horned Bear from below, and brandishing his War Hammer, he struck towards the side of the Winter Horned Bear’s head.

Smack!

Getting smack on the side of its head had resulted in the Winter Bear staggering to the side while giving a pained roar.

But Michael didn’t have any plans to stop as he quickly dashed behind the Winter Horned Bear, and jumped as he raised his hammer above him and struck the dagger that’s stuck on the back of the monster.

"Raging Hammer!"

"ROAR!"

The Winter Horned Bear gave a pained roar just it had just stood up, but then it slowly staggered forward before it dropped down on the ground, and Michael quickly gave another follow-up attack on the weakened monster along while receiving another strengthening buff from Miya.

Michael quickly switched his weapon to his sword and leaped towards the sky.

"Rolling Crash!"

And used his favorite, as he spun in the air and descended like a small tornado towards the weakened Winter Horned Bear!

Boom!

"Roar!"

The Winter Horned Bear issued a dying cry before it turned into motes of light and disappeared in the face of the continent.

Michael knelt on the ground as he panted hard, while Miya hurriedly came running over while throwing a heal at Michael, bringing his health back to at least twenty five percent.

"You alright?" Miya asked.

"Yeah, good thing we managed to pull the Winter Horned Bear really far from its group or it would have been a huge trouble for us," Michael said, and slowly sat on the snowy ground, trying to catch his breath.

"I told you it was a bad idea," Miya said.

"It wasn’t a bad idea, but my mistake is that I had completely forgotten that both of our pieces of equipment are mostly for players around Level 25" Michael bitterly smiled, as he didn’t expect that his one small mistake had almost gotten him killed many times, and finally realized that almost everything that happened so far had relied on luck.

"Now that I think about it, we’ve been relying on your skill to repair our equipment. Snow Village doesn’t even have a Blacksmith, they practically don’t have anything that benefits us, players, except for the Quests given to us" Miya said with a bit of a troubled tone.

"That’s the reason why I asked Dylan and the others to at least bring one or two for every production class with them when they head here" Michael replied while he shared some jerky to Miya that he had made the other day, as both of them started eating and taking a rest.

He also understood the biggest problem of the Snow Village that currently has right now is the lack of production in the village.

And Dylan and others brought with them some Blacksmiths, Miners, Chefs, Gardener, and Tailors from their guild, as they also planned to pioneer in Everwinter.

"Will they even manage to get here?" Miya rolled her eyes with a laughed.

Michael also laughed, "That’s the reason why I told them to start their journey through the mountains of Cympyr Dukedom so that they would at least traverse the path that I took"

"But it would take them at least a month in the game to even reach Cympyr Dukedom," Miya said.

Michael shrugged his shoulders and replied, "What can we do? We don’t have a definite map of Everwinter, and there’s not even a single landmark that we had encountered in this place that would at least act like a beacon for us"

"So they can only travel to Cympyr Dukedom even though there are other nations nearer to Everwinter from Strovan Kingdom"

"The good thing is that we’re only in the outskirts of Everwinter, so it would be easier for them to reach us without getting caught by monsters stronger than an Ice Troll or those damnable Winter Horned Bears"

"They are one tough nut to crack, those Winter Bears!"

Meanwhile.

"Haa! That Shadow is really making us work hard"

Dylan, along with Maverick and Minerva are trekking through a rocky terrain through a mountain along with some of their guild members, numbering around thirty people.

"But the prospects of being the first guild to pioneer in Everwinter would give us a huge boost in power and reputation, further establishing the capability of our Flame Rose Guild, and catching up to those medium size guilds will just be a matter of time," Minerva said, as she walked side by side with Dylan, and behind them is Maverick busy talking with the other members.

"Miya must be having fun with Shadow, huh?" Dylan turned to his girlfriend and chuckled.

Minerva looked at him with a scowl and said in a whisper that the two of them could only hear, "She is having...fun, but it’s a pity that Michael is already dating Amanda"

"Though my buddy is too young for your sister, so I think it wouldn’t happen even if he was single" Dylan shook his head.

"Shut up, age doesn’t matter when you’re in love. Don’t forget that I’m at least three years older than you" Minerva replied with a snort.

Dylan just laughed and said, "Well, I mean, I’ve known Shadow for many years now, and he had never dated anyone younger than him, all of them were around his age and some are even older than him"

Minerva just shrugged her shoulders and said, "Whatever"

Dylan just smiled at her, then he turned his head behind them and looked at their fellow guild members, especially the new faces in the guild, then he turned to Minerva and whispered, "Did you make sure that no spies from other guilds came with us?"

"Of course, I made sure to choose those players from the production class who never had any interaction from any of our enemy guilds," Miya said with a serious look as she knew the impact of the news of what their plans are if it ever gets out to the public or if their enemies get ahold of it.

She wouldn’t even doubt that their enemies will surely not let their guild accomplish their task at hand and would strongly obstruct them on the way.

A group of cloaked figures is currently walking in the streets of Suaron.

And everyone from players to NPCs kept a wary distance from this suspicious group of people.

"Did you guys really need to come with us?" a familiar voice of a man sounded from one of the cloaked figures, his tone sounded really annoyed.

"Shut it, Viper. You just want to hog all the fun and items by sticking with Shadow" a female voice replied with a chuckle.

"Tsk!" Viper just snorted in annoyance, and the group was once more enveloped in silence.

"Who do you think they are? It’s my first time seeing them in town, don’t tell me they are wanted criminals?"

"Just because they are all wearing a cloak? And they are not wanted criminals, else the guards would have captured them already when they were trying to enter the town through of the gates"

Their group didn’t even care about the people looking at them with weird looks on their faces.

’I didn’t expect that they are actually the famed Assassin Guild, the Revenants’

Solitary Tempest can’t still believe that Michael and his "friends" who far older than him are actually the infamous, Revenant Guild.
